My elderly mom is all set up in her chair with a half gallon of ice cream. It is exciting. It's nice to have a happy ocassion in this world that we can all celebrate.

On an aside and I'll have to find a link. Today in our Daily News front page was the headline "BUGGER OFF" with mustaches drawn on the lovely couple. Why? Because "Our Princess is better than your Princess". We have Princess Grace from Philly. Just like us to get smart *advertiser censored*s over a Princess.

I've been watching the live coverage online and on TV. Almost thirty years ago my British mother and I watched Charles and Diana's marriage. My Mom was ever and always a true Brit until the day she passed. She would have enjoyed watching Diana's son on this day. So in her honor I will watch this joyous celebration of love and tradition for her while sipping a Pimms..."cheers".
 
Oh and I'd like to add that I'm convinced somewhere in my British blood is a Royal relative...

I don't have class until 2:30 tomorrow and the wedding starts in 3 minutes so I guess I'll watch some of it :D

That this wedding will be more understated that previous weddings because of not wanting to appear over the top while so many are struggling during this recession.

I don't know if that's accurate about the car. We will see.

Hi Kat, I heard on CNN tonight that it is because she arrives as a commoner and leaves the church in a carriage with her title of royalty.

I can't believe I am glued to the TV, gosh, with excitement abounding. LOL I am happy because I believe they are truly in love. That makes all the difference.

Prince Harry's GF just arrived. She's not wearing a hat. I love the hats.
 
She will be called the Duchess of Cambridge. Is that right, I heard it so fast. I thought she will now be an official Princess.

Here at WS we all know though that every girl is a Princess. :blowkiss: We hold so many special ones in our hearts from over the years. xox
 
I don't know their official title, so please forgive me for butchering this, the military guard band is now marching along the parade route. The inside of the Abbey is just beautiful. Sunnier and brighter than I have seen it before.
 
Beck and Posh just arrived and the crowd went crazy.
 
Well no new tweets for quite awhile from the Clarence House. That's where William and Harry are at right now. They might be busy over there or sumptin. lol.
