Flegg interview outside court.
As citizen's we have a duty if we have information to co-operate.
So I voluntarily came forward.

So we know from interviews that BF and OW co-operated voluntarily. Or do we?

My question for Flegg is why didn't you contact the police immediately when you first heard those "blood curdling" screams?

Yes!! Why didn't he as a citizens it is our duty to report anything of concern.

I am sure if I heard blood curdling screams that were disturbing, not once but twice I would be on the phone to report them ASAP.

If I asked anybody here for a Loan of $400,000, would you consider that .... of the ordinary?
OK, ..... So if you were my friend, and I asked you for a loan of $400,000, would that seem a little more "Normal"?"
Would you request what the money was for?
If I was evasive in reply, would you, reconsider, or close the subject?
If I dissolved in tears, would you .....
1. Say "No worries, here is the money $400,000. Your tears have melted my heart"
2. Wonder if your ears and eyes had witnessed all that you thought you just heard and seen correctly.
3. Be shocked?
4. Wonder about my "Golden Child" status.
5. Question my Business acumen.
6. Scratch your head.
7. Loan me a hanky.

I'll go with 7 LadyBird.

I wonder when the penny finally dropped?
Was it after he heard the blood curdling screams?
Was it AFTER he went to see GBC to offer condolences or sympathy or whatever he went to see him about? (Knowing full well GBC's wife was missing.)
Was it after his own political situation began to appear "precarious"?
And did he voluntarily come forward?

Mr Flegg said Baden-Clay had called during the 2012 election campaign but he did not have time to take the call.

He said he asked someone else to phone him back and that person reported Baden-Clay was "distressed" and "tearful".

Mr Flegg said he felt bad about having been too busy to take his call so he phoned Baden-Clay on March 11.

"He almost seemed like he'd moved on from that - he was quite calm and didn't pursue the matter with me," he said.

Mr Flegg said he went to check on Baden-Clay's well-being after his wife went missing last April.

Ms Heath said she met Baden-Clay at a function at Queensland Parliament House but his wife Allison was absent.

She said she learned from either Dr Flegg or Baden-Clay that Allison suffered depression and the marriage was shaky.

Ms Heath said she also helped Dr Flegg sell one of his units through Baden-Clay but mostly dealt with another staff member.

middle of Dec 2011,
I don't remember the exact conversation, but I recall Gerard told me that he needed $400,000 to pay out some business partners or some business partners had left the business, and I remember him raising an issue about the rent roll for the business.

March 2012
Mr Flegg said Ms Heath told him that Mr Baden-Clay had said he needed to borrow $300,000 immediately and said that:

None of the above.
Not even the razor cuts.

IMO it may have been that he expected or received a knock on the door.

Oh! I see ....

BTW (Those razor cuts were still weepy according to MSM reports)
According to my knowledge and understanding of wounds that translates as: Fresh or New.

And

Knock on Door might equate to Political Career and/or reputation at stake?
Priorities ...

Sorry LB
I meant that while most people would have had questions on each point you made.
It appears that BF did not until it was going to effect him personally, that he did his civilian duty and volunteered the information.

I just am not sure if it was as voluntarily as he would like us to believe.

This former staffer Graham Hallet who Fleggis sueing is the guy he couldn't wake when he heard Allison's screams. Suit for defamation, I wonder what was said for Flegg to be sent to the back bench. .

He told the court he was in bed, talking on the phone to friend Sue Heath, when their conversation was interrupted by a woman's scream.
"It was bloodcurdling," he said.
"I said to her 'surely you heard that' but she was quite adamant that she had not heard anything over the phone."
He told the court he went to wake up his former staffer, Graeme Hallett, who had been living with him at the time.

Flegg suing former media adviser
(Dec 2012)
He is suing Mr Hallett, who was his senior media adviser for seven months, for defamation as well as income lost after he resigned from the ministry and took a place on the backbench.
The amount of money Dr Flegg is suing for will grow from the $839,000 as he is still finalising a sum for losses incurred from moving to the back bench.

Flegg sues former media adviser for defamation
He says he had gone out of his way to help Mr Hallett and put him up for three months when he relocated to Brisbane.

"I want to clear my name against absolutely false charges that are in fact an accusation against my character - that I'm an unfit person was the claim," he said.

I can understand perfectly that the person on the other end of the phone couldn't hear the screams.

What I don't quite understand is why another bloke is sleeping in his house. (And unable to be woken)
Unless he was re-locating. And the situation was temporary.
Also I have a problem trying to understand why an MP would be suing another for money.
I admit to having a very negative attitude to this whole business of suing.
Why? Because it has compromised the fundamental basics of all that is GOOD and right and all that seeks a higher good.
Anything at all in fact, to do with Altruism.
Lots of people in Australian history have put their all (including finances) on the line; in order that a greater goal may be achieved.
The "hinkey" comment earlier tonight may be appropriate.

There has also been a delay in the results of the 32 computer and phone exhibits believed to be seized from Baden Clay's home and office.

Wonder if a white i phone is one of those exhibits.

Sign of relief this article is from September 2012
I thought WTH?

Be still my heart.

Blackberry phones were big then but why did it have to be an IPHONE he borrowed was it the small sim-like Allison's?
Do you have leave ID when you buy a new phone??

It's the hinky!
