If she was aware of the dangers as her husband said, I don't see her going with someone she didn't know.

The client was supposedly a couple from Russellville, according to what the real estate agency was told.

A "couple" could explain two cars. They may have driven there separately after work. And they could have been legit (as I theorized before) and this had nothing to do with a "fake" showing.

That's why I think the referral part is key, she felt comfortable enough to meet them. Who gave her the referral????

There is an area down that way not to far that is a recreation picnic Fishing playground and some camping, It's called willow beach and it's not as nice as it once was lots of riff raff and shady people hanging there a lot the past few times we rode down to fish it felt unsafe and we decided not to return there it was such a nice area to go but it has been overrun with unsavory individuals

Bringing this quote over from up-thread. I think it sheds some light on the surrounding area.

in addition to maybe knowing this person, other ideas as to why she might have trusted him---Maybe he seemed like a sweet old man? (Just thinking out loud). Maybe he said he knew someone she knows (as mentioned upstream re: stating a referral named online)? Female present?

It's interesting - IF she really was lured there by the idea of a CASH DEAL since there is :moo: a slight  (not only price) difference between the two homes Beverly showed that day...

Good info. They aren't similar in price or size. Seems an odd match even for someone looking for investment property to have such a wide span in property value.

duplicate post...
:gaah:
computers are so touchy

Unless the buyer said he was interested in buying the larger house as a personal residence and renting out the smaller one. I can definitely see that as a scenario.

A thought: she might not have known this person well, if she knew him. Here's why. She likely would have told her husband, "Oh, I'm going to meet Mr. Smith" (hypothetical name).

IF true, it's about a 1.5 hour drive --- would a couple REALLY drive separate? :dunno:

that would make it all one buyer.. She was showing all these properties in the general vicinity with different prices to one person. or persons, or a couple. The fact the 89,000 is listed so low would be for a first time buyer. SO, there you have it.

In that case, wouldn't that info been disclosed in light of the searches and other info that her husband is telling the media? It seems unlikely that a couple would have made arrangements to see the home and either arrived after her abduction (and would have seen her car, door open, etc and notified authorities right away) or had already left and were waiting to meet her at the next showing where she never arrived,.... or if that showing was a different client, then it seems the original clients still would have contacted LE and given all the info regarding their last contact with her.

As much detail that her husband has given about that night, I think he would have said if she had met with a known couple or that they had been interviewed. It doesn't seem to me that this is info LE would try to hide.

Sorry if that is all a rambling mess of words ^^^^^

What does Beverly like to do in her spare time? What are her hobbies/interests?

The fact that the texts were sent at 1:00 am leads me to believe things might have "settled down" by then, jmo.

Looks like she took up running fairly recently. Also seems pretty involved with her deceased son's daughter in local pageants.
