Serial killer Gary Ridgway was known to investigators early on in that case. They were unable to move forward against him due to lack of evidence. I believe his co-workers nicknamed him "Green River Gary" behind his back.

It's creepy because burchell refers to himself as "river man".

March 17, 2012 (when Ms. Alvarado disappeared) was a Saturday. She allegedly went for a walk around 2:00 am. That would be an early Sunday morning - ironically Ms. Raffo vanished in the early morning hours of a Sunday morning as well.

While were on the subject of body parts, probably not related but there's a couple unidentified young female cases from 2006 in Atlantic county. Both skeletal parts only, one found on the shore line 6 miles or so north of AC and the other 4 miles or so south in a parking garage in Margate. I wonder if Ms. Alvarado's foot was actually severed or became detached naturally through decomposition.

I found this one, fully clothed, no shoes but wearing socks. How far is this from AC?

From the FindCheka Facebook page dated December 4, 2104

"For 18 months, we had no idea where Franchesca was let alone if she was safe. Last Summer, a fisherman in Ocean City found her sneaker in the ocean with her skeletal limb inside. We NOW KNOW that Franchesca was in the ocean the whole time we were searching for her. WE NOW KNOW that someone REALLLLY thought they were going to get rid of her and we were never going to find her."

Interesting article dated Sep. 18, 2013 concerning Ms. Alvarado's fate. Plus a bit more on the man who took her to AC.

“Nor will they need to hang posters in the Kensington neighborhood where Tracey Williams was last known to live.

He's the man, decades older than Cheka, who took her to Atlantic City the March night she disappeared. He returned alone, saying Franchesca decided to make her own way back to her apartment in Hunting Park.

When Franchesca vanished, Williams cooperated with police, says Lt. Harold Lloyd of Philadelphia East Detectives. But when Williams was asked to take a lie-detector test, he refused and hired a lawyer. Police now have information that Williams has left the area, Lloyd says.”

Sounds like he cut and ran.

Did they tell us the time the call/s from the doc were made or when she was expected back? I think the estimated time of death was less than 36 hours. Could she have been killed in the afternoon or evening hours of the 19th? Her organ temps possibly could have narrowed it down but if the 36 hour estimation is correct it doesn't sound like that happened in time. Not knowing when the calls were made and when they planned to meet back up I'm hesitant, not wanting to get boxed in on the early morning grab hypothesis.

There was no information released on the actual time of the calls only that investigators were able to identify the doctor by tracing a phone number back to him. The Medical Examiner released information that Ms. Raffo was in the ditch for “a couple of days”.

In actuality, the time between when she left the Taj (5:00 am Sunday) and the time her body was discovered (2:30 pm Monday) is 33 and a half hours. Coupling those two together might lead to the conclusion that she wasn't alive very long after she left the casino.

Also, perhaps I should rephrase my earlier statement about the two women vanishing on a Sunday morning to: Two women, Kim Raffo and Franchesca Alvarado, were last seen alive on images captured by casino surveillance cameras.

So, within six years, we have two women whose last known sightings alive are in the same area, on the same day of the week, and on the same early morning hours. Both bodies are disposed of in water, one in a shallow sewage ditch - another possibly in an inlet that leads to the ocean. Both are mothers. No personal items from either are ever recovered.

In both cases we know who their last known associates were and that both were questioned by investigators. In only one of these cases was an individual officially cleared by authorities.

The other refused to take a lie detector test and halts the interrogation by requesting a lawyer. When a foot of the last victim is discovered and DNA positively confirms her identity this individual skips town for parts unknown.

As always, just my opinion.

I'm just checking in to say that I'm still following and reading every word that is posted here!

What I can say about the casinos is this- they are able to see every rooms doorway- hallway area from surveillance cameras. They would 100% know if two people entered a room but only one left. Without a doubt, they would know. I believe that
Whatever happened to these girls ( including checka ) did not happen inside of a casino hotel room.

I would agree that nothing happened inside the casinos. In Ms. Raffo's case the doctor was cleared after investigators checked both the hotel AND casino cameras.

One would think that survellience cameras would clear Tracy Williams (who took Ms. Alvardo to AC) as well. That wasn't the case, in fact he was asked to submit to a lie detector test by Philadelphia PD. He refused and sometime during the questioning asked for a lawyer.

No mention if he tried to call her, if he looked for her or anything that indicated that he was concerned. Only a fuzzy statement to the effect of "she went for a walk at 2:00 am and I returned home alone".

There's a lot of questions that are unanswered here. Most of the other persons who were questioned in the AC4 case scream to anyone who would listen (especially the media) "I didn't kill her, I'm not involved". - Just my opinion.

One last thing about casino surveillance cameras. Based upon the layout of The Taj Mahal Casino if investigators cleared the doctor by checking both the hotel AND casino cameras then that would indicated that Ms. Raffo was headed in a southward direction towards the adjacent Resorts Casino.

In theory, if Ms. Raffo did cut through Resorts in search of drugs then their cameras may have captured the last images alive of not only Ms. Raffo but Ms. Alvarado as well. That's quite a coincidence.

I'm re-posting screen shots of the area surrounding Resorts to help visualize the lay of the land.

The key to unraveling this mystery lies in the surveillance cameras located inside The Resorts Casino. March 17, 2012 (St Patrick's Day) and a young women is last seen alive on their cameras.

Those cameras tell the story of Franchesca Alvarado and Tracy Williams.

Did they have a room together and she left to take a 2:00 am stroll?
Are they seen together on the casino floor and she leaves alone on a 2:00 am stroll?
Did they both leave together?

The truth lies in those videos.

For a person who is obviously never short of words, that's about all I have to say.

As always, just my opinion.

The cut thru would've made the most sense as the route out. Many people ( myself included) would rather take the safe climate controlled route verse walking out and around on the streets. I personally have taken that same cut-thru just because it was there.

I agree here and think Tracey is probably responsible for Francesca.

I'm on my cell phone right now so don't have my work in front of me but I always doubted Hesse ( I may have names mixed up here but I'm referring to the guy who lived in the cheap room who was born again and preached about the evils of prostitution, had domestic charges in the past, did time) it seems as though he was more then willing to talk. Even though he definitely fits the profile of a religion driven serial killer

I need to make a correction concerning the actual date of when Ms. Alvarado made the trip to AC and never returned. There are conflicting reports concerning the actual date where some will list March 17 while others will list March 13.

For the sake of accuracy I'll list the date, March 13, 2012, from the official NamUs report as the date she visited AC and March 17, 2012 as the date the missing person report was filed. Hopefully that will eliminate any confusion in the future.

The dates conflicting on several accounts has me looking closely at the wording and who is reporting. Along with the NamUS report that you have noted, I believe these have the most detail and therefore to be accurate, in my opinion as always:

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/b...ns_despair_into_charity_in_Atlantic_City.html

"since March 13, 2012, when Alvarado left her Hunting Park apartment to visit Atlantic City with a friend.
He returned. She did not. Her family reported her missing March 17."

http://www.philly.com/philly/column...31_What_happened_to_Franchesca_Alvarado_.html

"Back on March 13, you went to Atlantic City for the evening with an older male friend named Tracy W(xxxx), who drove you there."

Serial killer Gary Ridgway was known to investigators early on in that case. They were unable to move forward against him due to lack of evidence. I believe his co-workers nicknamed him "Green River Gary" behind his back.

Not behind his back I'm afraid, it was to his face and was apparently a running joke in the break room.

Going back to the AC4 case, I really think you're onto something with that soup kitchen Cynical. I've said before that I believe there's some kind of religious element to this case, and if our killer is some kind of moral crusader, I'd expect that person to be very much involved in church causes like food banks, soup kitchens and other, similar outreach programs. Gary Ridgeway was very much involved in the church, but that's where the similarity ends, I believe. Ridgeway blamed the prosititutes for the fact that he could not control himself from using their services, this killer doesn't have sex with the victims, and I theorise that he may believe that he is "saving" them from a life of sin and vice.
