I wanted to answer this sooner, but my laptop broke down. It’s possible they recognized him and he realized. I feel each of the abductee’s fate was already decided and it wouldn’t have mattered what they said or did. Under the circumstances I don’t think he’d be someone who could be bargained with. Perhaps the CSK had a strange fantasy that he intended to fulfil.

There’s also the bricklayer, who perhaps disturbed the CSK, whereby nearly had an accident which may have put the wind-up the CSK. CG was left partially clothed, whereas JR and KK victims were left naked. It would appear that the full ritual with CG wasn’t met, possibly due to the incident with the bricklayer.
Does anyone else feel that the bricklayer actually saw the CSK beforehand?

The story was always rather vague and I would be guessing that when he told his daughter a new police officer about the sighting, she never passed it on to anyone. In all honesty if I started in the police force and my parents asked me to pass on a sighting of someone years ago at a murder site I personally wouldn't pass it on. She may not want to say anything possibly stupid to ruin her career.

The story was always rather vague and I would be guessing that when he told his daughter a new police officer about the sighting, she never passed it on to anyone. In all honesty if I started in the police force and my parents asked me to pass on a sighting of someone years ago at a murder site I personally wouldn't pass it on. She may not want to say anything possibly stupid to ruin her career.

I agree and also CG was abducted Friday night and this was Sunday morning. Could be either scouting disposal places if she was being held somewhere or visiting the disposal site if she had already been killed. IMO the disposal spot was very well planned, and the distance of 50 metres or so from the road as deliberate as well.

Probably because WAPOL "had their man", so the stories the girls told didn't fit their theory.

I think once LW was effectively ruled out through DNA they have revisited all the old evidence and it was probably sitting right in front of their face the whole time. Just didn't fit with the easy target.

I just can't believe it took a cold case team in 2016 to find the cars on that 8 hour video had not been checked out 20 years ago. Was it because they thought they had their man? Even so those vehicles should have been checked out. Still could have been connected to LW in some way. To just ignore the evidence they had is beyond belief. Let's hope something came of the checks the cold case team have done.MOO
