Yes this may be the case now, but it was NOT always this way. I've had to show ID on domestic flights in Oz in the past.........
[emoji317][emoji317][emoji317]

Generally you have to show ID (but not a passport) on flights which form one leg of an international flight, which from Perth could be Sydney flights which might then continue on to NZ, USA etc. But flights which fully terminate within Australia, i.e. Broome, Albany, Adelaide etc you don't usually need to.

When BRE got arrested I bet a stack of women would have phoned crimestoppers in the weeks after saying I met him on the night so n so disappeared. So they might have remembered how he walked. You really need to think like BRE did. And like the cops have thought his logic & it has been mentioned somewhere else. Probably the papers. BRE leaves one down sth but is not found. So there is no problem leaving another there. JR is found & the whole area is considered hot.

So then he has to go north as he can't have 3 turn up in one big area eh? He heads down the Freeway in Jan96. Last turn off in Jan 96 is Thomas rd.. And once veering off the Freeway he doesn't go far. Not far at all. Unless he went East that is. Someone remind me of the shoebox later tomo arvo please.

I only have my own personal experience to go by - but I definitely remember thinking how inconvenient it was to show ID on domestic flights.

The more I drag through my memory cells, I recall it was definitely after 9/11 attacks when the world went crazy with extra security.

More CCTV added everywhere, more security, more checking of credentials. Secret police business. Secret defence force business.

IMO Maybe the real or alleged CSK slowed down or stopped killing because everyone and everywhere became security conscious in aftermath of 9/11 attacks?

Local Neighbours on terrorist watch! Street cams recording civilian movements. And capabilities for tracking mobile phone and internet use expanding exponentially to match the threat of more terrorism.

The (western) world changed dramatically on 9/11/2001. Therefore, maybe the alleged CSK needed to change and adapt his MO to match his new security conscious environment.

The world changed.
The alleged CSK needed to change and mix things up to remain undetected.

IMO maybe we might need to research entirely new MO's and possibly new hunting grounds after 9/11/2001.

Hi Petedavo , well you prompted a search,

Here is a good one to sleuth. Whose birthday would it be on 7 December 2001?

Janine Vaughan’s details: Blonde hair and green eyes 164cm (5’3”)

Janine (31) was last seen around 4am on Friday, 7 December 2001 in Keppel Street, Bathurst. At this time she was seen to enter the front passenger seat of a bright red coloured four door medium size sedan similar to a Mitsubishi Magna of a Toyota Camry. Janine has not been seen or heard from since and fears are held for her safety and welfare.

Reported missing to: Bathurst Police Station.

Missing Persons Register

These are only my thoughts and opinions.

Theres a thread for Janine

Exactly my theory as I posted earlier. With regard to flight tickets you had to show ID for E tickets at the airport which was problematic for me as I don't have a drivers licence or a passport.

Earliest I've found so far was in thread 2 Post #405
It speculated whether Telstra Rope was involved.

I had since found out this Telstra rope is called Telco Haul and is supplied to Telstra via Sydney Rope Supplies.

Metic,

Those posts are excellent - thanks. It seems early in 2016 there were discussions of a Telstra employee whose personal vehicle was similar to a work one. I suppose with Telstra employees they often work alone, whereas other services work with a group, such as ambulance, fire brigade & Water Corp crews etc.

PCS,

:slap: You asked for a reminder regarding the shoebox. This is your reminder!

These are some pictures that were in threads: 2, 3, & 4 that i thought interesting and hadn't been seen for a while.
Hopefully someone appreciates a look .

Sorry to the original posters for not crediting where they came from .
Thanks to #papertrail & bartholemeus and maybe someone else for these.

The Telstra contracted rope manufacturer’s website states there are 2 types of rope that Telstra uses:

Note: The 3mm orange and white rope (Telstra item code: 675/00083) could be mistaken for that cheap clothesline rope that you sometimes see in the shops

Xyz,

Thanks very much, are you able to prepare a preferred route taken from Perth to Broome? One where a traveller could stop at some touist stops and perhaps camping overnight. It would help a lot. I've never been to Broome and I'd fly there, but we were told by the profiler that the CSK likes driving.

IMO, you'd drive to Broome for only 2 reasons: 1) if you wanted to do the touristy or fishing thing on the way up, in which case you'd likely drive the coastal road and stop at places like Exmouth, Carnarvon etc. or 2) if you wanted your own car while in Broome (you can hire a car if you fly but most you're not supposed to take too much 'off-road' (GRR is usually ok) or on the beach. If you just wanted to go Perth to Broome as quickly as possible the inland route (through Meekatharra etc) is slightly shorter but less scenic.
Many people visiting Broome to see family will fly and borrow a car once there. As I said though- unless you were making a holiday of it on the trip up or back, in which case there are many, many options of places to camp/ visit/ fish.
A wonderful and diverse holiday state!!! IMO of course!!!

A poster has offered a description of the cable/rope used in the rowe park abduction .
Quote peter kurten :

"I believe the line used to restrain the victim was a "hollow plastic rope", consistent with one of those roll out washing lines common in the 1990's. I've been told however, that this rope was not indeed yellow."

Only real pointers to what is was on MSM appears a bit contradictory. Appears to be described as washing line.

Domestic flights out of Perth you can still travel under any name. There are no ID checks.
