Should Brevette’s finding of what looks like JR climbing or being helped down from a wall/fence be reported to police. I wonder what they would make of it? It might have been overlooked by them (although I don’t think so) in which case they should be made aware. I have been trying to work out if it is JR where was she going and who was she with. This changes everything we have been told about JR possibly getting into a taxi or being picked up by someone she seemed to be waiting for. In fact this opens a whole new can of worms. MOO

Annalise, I think WAPOL have been all over this video, every tiny facet of it, with super sophisticated technical equipment and specialists in analysing video imaging. Every frame would have been magnified and scrutinised, IMO. AND I think there might well be some "little blue angels" watching over this WS as we speak, so have no fear, I'm sure that "can of worms" has been well and truly opened! Because after a break from WS (yes this does happen), and hours later returning to WS, there's random posts that appeared amongst the ones I have already read, thanked, and even commented. This makes its very difficult to keep up with the conversation. So sorry if I've been asked a direct question and I haven't replied. Its possible I totally missed your excellent post!

Yes, have had issues Spooky one. Thought it was just me. Things jumping about, turning up hither and thither (now there's a saying you don't hear nearly enough now!) Me thinks there might be some major monitoring going on at present (as it should be with the court case pending), so don't worry if things get a little muddled (welcome to my world!) we're all big kids now, we can work it out.

Regarding the image of the mystery lady.

There looks to me as though two men are in the middle. The one on the RHS with a back view on a motor bike – looks like dark hair but, by rights should be wearing a helmet.

The person on the LHS looks as though he’s walking toward the camera which might be pushing a wheelie bin or trolley.

Hi, wow this is crazy stuff!

Good work on the videos, but the Conti was never open after 1 am.. never any rooftop parties (I used to go out a LOT&#128561 and no rooftop parties as roof was sloped traditionally not a flat roof. Also, the second storey balcony was extremely high, 10-12 foot ceilings on first floor then the balcony, very difficult to hang off there and not need a ladder to reach you! I think it does look like a girl but the angle of the knees is wrong for someone “hanging” their body downwards.. it’s almost like the knees are bent in a sitting position which would discount this climbing down theory?

Looks to me like her feet are cut off, and if there is a guy holding her, he seems to have lost his body. I'm wondering if it's the security staff or whoever is in charge of the cctv that have doctored this frame and wonder if there is any other vision from the ice box. The news report a day or two later was discussing the Club Bay View cctv, but not the Conti. Did they have to edit or make some of the images disappear and it took them longer to get their vision to the cops?

Cuccigal is it possible to describe how much cctv you were shown in time and sequences. Were the images from outside or inside the Conti and how clear were they?

Hi, the footage we were shown not long after at the police station in Northbridge was basically the same footage as the MM one released to the public with the footage inside the Conti (ground floor near stairs) and the waiting out the front part. However the tape was CLEAR and not grainy like we are seeing. I thought It was my phone but appears everyone is commenting on the resolution. Never shown any footage of the Clubba (club Bayview) or the back of the conti. I couldn’t in all honesty remember if any frames were missing!

It would be more likely the kimono was never even tested for DNA in 1988 and was only tested recently for a cold case review (semen or blood stain). YES it was available in 1988 but highly unlikely for this sort of crime, in Australia and in Perth. Keep in mind back in the late 90's they were still sending the Claremont DNA over sea's for testing.

After I chased him to some fences with a giant Stanley screwdriver in his hand, I rand the police.

Telling the officer there was giant blood prints on the car, the officer said we only do testing on murders.

We established the same person was living with 3 others who were robbing the neighbourhood including my wife's clothes off her clothes line and setting a house on fire down the street.

Police intervention may have caught these guys before the non citizens moved on to do the same elsewhere. The place is almost lawless.

Thanks Guccigal. There has only been one of two frames inside beside the stairs that's been released that I know of. Were you shown this as a video of just the still images of those one or two frames?

The station was the old one opposite the art gallery in Beaufort street. No stills, a video only. Tho it’s funny we (a few friends and I) were only asked to identify ourselves and people we knew (no emphasis on MM). We could make ourselves out but the video was a lot longer than the one I think was released to the public. Tho I have lost track of the official one police released asking to identify MM? There was a lot of footage at the bottom of the stairs but only when I saw the police footage I realised they were looking for the mystery man (MM). I guess as a process of deduction and eliminating people (via identifying themselves) this was the only person left unidentified at the end, or else they had him as a suspect from the start! Can someone tell me the length of the official video footage as the one I saw would have been around 5 minutes all up.

Then there is the 1min 8 seconds of mostly extra frames "flect" video.

IMO since JR faces south wards down BayView Tce, I believe the person she's waiting for will be driving northwards on Bay View Tce.
Since she's standing on this verge and not on the opposite footpath.
Not sure how much we can surmise from this, but she obvioulsy must have felt 'safer' standing near bouncers.......

It may be that someone is editing a post that has been submitted initially. If you didn't see it initially it comes up earlier than you expected.
