IMO - my gut feeling is that the alleged CSK derived pleasure, even sexual pleasure from torturing and harming the victims.
Plus IMO the alleged CSK is a planner, and a controlled and organised SK, and a master of deception and evading suspicion.

The fact the accused didn't say a word during entire KK incident is a very telling piece of 'evidence'.

It's very difficult to NOT speak in normal daily scenarios- and even especially more difficult to NOT speak and impart instructions when trying to force another person to do something against their will. Near on impossible.

Reports tha the perpertrator whover he is , did not say a word during the entire KK incident could also indicate that he is quite adept at dealing with drunk people, and knows from past experience that is a waste of time to even talk ,give instructions or try to reason with them.
This was the theory explained to the men employed to work as Hotel and Club doormen around that time - ( pre the widespread proliferation of mobile phones). If a drunk needed to be evicted they were simply grabbed firmly from behind and frogmarched out the door , -no explanation given, -pointless trying to argue or reason with a drunk was time tested theory. The patron could argue and rant all they liked once they were out the door, and on the street.
In fact there was a brief craze amongst some of the more ****gish elements of the industry for applying a sleeper hold unnanounced from behind on inebriated alleged "troublemakers " which culminated in the infamous Greg Matthews "Hippy Club"" eviction incident where the cricketer won a substantial out of court settlement and Bar managers afterwards forbade the practice fearfull of litigation. KK victim was selected, stalked, then silently attacked from behind.....
Agree that the CSK whover he may be is a planner...and i think a certain element of this planning included making it his business to be around innocent young people who were out carefree, partying in the early hours,-.whilst he was dead sober and plying his sick trade of stalking, groping , assaulting and abducting his victims whose judgement and recollection was imparied by alcohol consumption.
An interesting comparison is with Melbournes " Hot Chocolate" rapist and abductor whose M.O. was to prey on drunken and vulnerable young women by offering them rides home as they left Melbourne Nightclubs with dozens of reported victims. Unreported incidents possibly as high as 100. So at the time was definetly an effective strategy for these sick criminal rapists.

There has been some debate in relation to the 1989 Cottesloe abduction/ Lakeside Drive-In abductions as to whether BRE was responsible due to the comment in the article that "He had hard whiskers. I had only been with boys up until then, so he must have been at least 30".

Should BRE be found guilty of the CSK crimes, IMO, I believe that he could have also been responsible for this attack for the following reasons:

• BRE is particularly hairy (see attached images)
• The young girl could only remember the whiskers - indeed she did say that "the woman had never reported the abduction to police, believing it useless because she did not have a description of the man or his vehicle".

The real problem, is this particular instance, only was discovered by pure chance of the real offender being done for a crime a year ago. That means they were not going to ever discover this, nor any others because of any systematic reviewing, related to the sacked scientists previously reported, that found nothing. Which obviously brings to the heart of the issue whether anything ever done or being done by Pathwest can ever be treated with any confidence by any jury forthwith.
This has dire consequences for any case relying on trust in Forensic evidence particularly if it's the sole evidence in chief.
I would wager that the DPP are hurriedly pressing WAPOL to come up with a hell of a lot more in BRE to show opportunity, motive, means to to put him in the areas at the time, so that they don't have to nolle prosequi and go back to square one.

Look for anything that puts BRE in the area. Local knowledge. Away games for his forty team, with results showing his name. Darts comps at the pubs concerned. That sort of thing.

As for Kerry Turner, anything showing that the veracity of the witnesses at Cafe Affaire, that give confidence in that she did exit the taxi and hitchhike. Any proof that the witnesses to what her father reckoned "that she might of known the driver of the 260C" And thus details of who she might know, eh where she went to school, worked, sport teams and anyone in same group. I'll DM a name to keep an eye out for.

Fremantle was totalled 'locked down ' during CSK reign, bouncers would walk all girls to their cars..... It does make me wonder why WA seems to produce more SK than other areas..... Today I spent a couple of hours at the State Library skimming through titles within the Comment News (Gosnells). Mainly looking for an identikit, but there wasn’t an identikit of anyone. Each paper was 48 to 52 pages, I searched between July 1984 to December 1985 .

Vandalism: Umpteen incidents at the Richard Rushton Community Centre, Gosnells (boarders Huntingdale) from Aug 1984 to April 1985. The RRCC held numerous sports groups, a mother and child playgroup and evening martial art classes (Judo/karate). May 1985 City of Gosnells mentioned intentions of becoming part of the Neighbourhood watch scheme.

Animal cruelty: Botulism of birds at the Mary Carroll Park (Gosnells) Feb 1985, and two other incidents of animal cruelty further away (Westfield and Kenwick).

Pyromania: Forest Lakes (Thornlie) new display homes (Aug 1984). No mention of the Gosnells HS fire.

Many thanks for taking the time to upload the images. I've read in an article before, about the perp. having rough bristles, but I can't remember which article. I've read so many. He's had the same hairstyle in most of the photographs. He's got dark hair.
Yes I can see a small scar too. His body is probably covered in scratches! The ex-wives probably asked questions.

As for his age at the time, wearing green, I'd think about 37 which would be 2006 (note the hairline).

Lucky for him Wark confessed to murder of Victoria Clarke in April 1987 as evidence found at scene and made front page headlines in link after Huntingdale assault was forgotten for years.

Any theories why BRE went quiet after CG? I know in 1997 when I worked at the WC they were considering what software packages to purchase in preparation for the new millennium. In 1998 we were busy ensuring data was migrating correctly too. All the different regions were affected by the preparations.

Perhaps BRE worked within a team, on one of the pre-Millennium projects. I should imagine Telstra was very busy at that time.

In addition, there’s been the introduction of “gory” computer games which probably kept BRE entertained for hours!

Missing Items Add to Julie Mystery

A missing shoulder bag and a set of clothes are adding to the mystery of missing Fremantle woman Julie Leanne Cutler. Police can’t understand why neither items were washed up on Cottesloe beach, where her Fiat sedan was found last week.

While they refuse to speculate, it does raise doubt on whether she was in the car when it was scuttled. The police say Julie, 22 was carrying both items when she left a staff party at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel, about 12.30am on Monday June 20. She was last seen in the Hotel’s staff car park unlocking her vehicle.
The missing items puzzle was examined by major crime squad Detective Snr Constable Ron Carey, who is working on the case with Det-Sgt Vince Katich. He said they were anxious for any information about the bag and clothes. They hope their recovery will help establish Julie’s movements. The light-brown leather shoulder bag was about 30cm long and about 22cm deep, it had a ??something?? over flap. The clothing items were the white blouse and black skirt worn in her job at the Parmelia. These were in a white plastic bag. Julie had changed out of the clothes at 10pm on Sunday June 10 when she finished work in the hotel and prepared for the staff-only party in the hotel night-club.

“We are puzzled why neither bag seems to have washed up, when a back seat was able to float out of the car”. Det Carey said. The detectives are also puzzled as to why, if Julie is dead, no body has been washed up – 13 days after her disappearance.
“At the moment we haven’t been able to find anything that was owned, carried or worn by her on the night she disappeared”, he said.
“We need something ???tangible ??? something we can pick up and hold.
Det. Carey said interviews with hotel staff had established that Julie had walked up to the car with her plastic bag, containing the clothes, in her left hand. A senior male employee spoke to her briefly before she walked off to the passenger side of her vehicle to unlock it – apparently because the driver’s side door could not be unlocked from the outside. He did not see her get into the car. When the car was found in the Cottesloe surf, both front doors were unlocked, the driver’s side door open and flapping in the water. All the windows were shut, except the driver’s window.
Julie’s father says he has lost hope she will be found alive. Her sister Nicole 21, believes there is a chance she has been abducted and has appealed to anyone who might be holding her to let her go.
