Puggle some of my somewhat random thoughts.......it is mentioned in MSM that KD had a brother who lived at Waterford Park in a caravan. ( caravans seem to pop up a lot with Paedos).

Wonder how long the brother had lived in the area. Perhaps KD was in the habit of visiting the brother in late 1970's and knew the area?
Also another thought re Denise. A lot of rage in the killing. May be someone who knew her? Therefore does not indicate KD?

She should have her own thread. Poor little girl.

Looks like due to his prior he may have had his DNA taken as 'part of the investigation'
Wonder if that's how they caught up with him,
Rechecking DNA? Would they have even had his DNA from as far back as 1970? Or was he investigated as part of the original Kylie Maybury investigation in 1984?
Just goes to show the police don't give up!

Looks like the same guy. Ignoring the fact that a change in history in 1970 would mean Kylie's birth would have been butterflied away, I'd like to know why an attack on a 14 year old girl did not cause him to be rotting in a cell in 1984.

Didn't he have a mental illness or disability. Maybe the same here. His crime against Kylie must have been completely random. And opportunistic.
Although there was the diazepam. Just happened to have some in the car? Maybe he took this medication regularly
himself.

The media are aware of the 1970 article but can't publish yet as once a person is charged you can't mention prior convictions until after the court process is finished.

I dont think he has a mental illness, I think he is a paedophilic sadists.

I didnt want to originally say too much that would give away where I live..... but I will generalize. ...

I have met the man and his wife, they attended a garage sale at my house back in 2008. They bought stuff took things home and came back again....they did this at least 3 times on that day.

Each time trying to get more friendly.... he gave me a business card (dont have it now) saying he played music and if we ever had a party he'd be happy to play (cant remember which instrument) ..... the wife noticed I had some porcelain dolls for sale and was eager to invite us to visit their house to see her collection...

Mind you my kids were very young and obviously would have been running around during the garage sale..... so makes you wonder.

Locals have not said they noticed anything wrong with him mentally..... just that he likes a drink and obviously kept it hidden from his wife as he would sit in his car at the local shops to drink rather than drink at home. I saw her at the shops recently and her daughter was helping her buy things .... I think she suffers from dementia by the things I observed.

Thank you so much for that link to the 1970 article, it further backs up what i am thinking about his involvement in Denise's case. Now there is clear indication of the aggressive/demonic behaviour he us capable of.

I am still thinking of ring involvement but don't know how to express and peice all the little bits together into a way that can be understood. Sadly I do feel their was some family (possibly not intentional by that family member) but through association with another paedophile..... and I do think Kylie was strategically targeted on that day.

This isnt going to make much sense to anyone but I need to write it down and record it before I forget.
Question: where did Greogory keith Davies and Brian Elkner go to school/church....was it st Marys in thornbury?

Can we find any evidence that Keith Davies had priors for burglary....dates!! ... incaceration dates!

Ahhh.... remember he was represented by john cain for larceny in the 1960s bought a car he knew was stolen.
At the time 1969 he lived at flats in Francis street thornbury....not with mum and dad at that time....at the other thornbury address.

The car he bought was from someone in Box Hill (a hillman sedan for $20) ..... he found out a few days later it was a stolen car but he liked the car so much he simply changed the plates.

He was caught because the owners brother happened to see Keith Driving the car later in Preston and phoned the police.

This was 1969......think...no internet!!.....how did he know it was stolen....box hill is a fair distance from thornbury, what plates would he have put on the vehicle..sounds like a connected criminal.......lol...how did he find the for sale, Ebay...nah...think not!!

Q: what if any? connection does Cain have to a possible later ex PM nominated (not disclosed to the public) in the royal commision as being involved in Paedophile activity.

1969 27 years old larceny charge (stolen car) sentenced to 6 months.

Interestingly take note of the more recent Bung abduction and new information....in particular the car description.....there was a second car, second sighting mentioned.

I had two addresses for him in Thornbury at one stage.... but can only find the Francis one atm ..... ?? Anyone...


And Im not buying the lived at Waterford Park address only for the past decade......if he moved there when his brother was doing it up as a bed and breakfast it has to be further back than that...as locals that have lived there in the past decade have no knowledge of the property being a B & B ..... So it has to be futher back than that. ..

Having done a drive by of his house..and also historic searches of Google earth.....Im thinking his wife owned a larger amount of land that has been subdivided at some stage and then sold off over the years.....sickening...their land prior to what I firmly believe has been subdivided......it backed onto a community playground... There is still one vacant lot that can be observednover their backfence which looks directly onto the playground..

If you knew the area...which is totally weird in itself.....a mini suburb sprouted out in the middle of nowhere...its strange...and has a really weird vibe. I have always felt this...well before his arrest ever happened. In retrospect....a perfect place for anyone wanting to become a nobody......
 
He can't have pre-planned it.... it was pure chance that Kylie was sent out for sugar that day .
 
So far, Ten and the ABC have offered Kylie's schoolfriend interviews after the court process is over. Also possible is dramatised re-enactment involving some child actress moppet re-enacting Kylie going to the Food Plus in Plenty Road, cutting away at her last known sighting by that motorist.

Yeah sorry not pre planned .... but possibly pre selected.

In that Davies had already been aware of Kylie. Moreso speculation on my part that he may have become aware of her through a possible criminal association to someone close to Kylie........ or it may simply be because he saw her at local shops.

Given there only being a minutes drive between Kylies home and where he lived at the time, the chances of him having observed her earlier is possible. Public holiday. Did his habit of driving somewhere to drink start early? Could he have been parked in their street simply hoping for an opportunity.

ETA: Gordon Grove (his parents house) Gregory Grove his subsequent flat.
 
After talking with Kylie's friend, i wish Kylie had lived to achieve her ballet dream. I think she would have been a fine ballerina.

Mr Scott has asked me to reply to you, as he is involved with Ministerial business today. He has asked me to convey to you his sadness about the dreadful murder, and how it is still affecting people today.

Kylie’s murder was an event that people who live or work in Preston are never likely to forget. I can still feel the awfulness of hearing about Kylie’s disappearance all those years ago, then the horror when her body was discovered.

At least someone has now been charged with Kylie’s murder – and the publicity surrounding the arrest of a suspect has revived people’s memory of Kylie.

Gregory Keith Davies faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 10 June 2016, charged with murder, rape and false imprisonment. Davies will appear in court again later this month, when no doubt there will be further press reporting.

Let us hope that that with time the pain of Kylie’s loss will fade. But we will never forget her.

On the 29th, Davies will have a committal mention.

Committal Mention. A preliminary hearing prior to the full committal hearing. Permission to cross-examine witnesses may be given, matters in dispute will be discussed and a date for the committal hearing can be set at this stage. The Court may also hear and determine some charges if the accused pleads guilty.

Probably won't. Avoidant personality type IMO. Sly drinker, work shy, poor impulse control. He'll deny it to his grave.
 
With Davies being 73, it's been questioned how much justice can truly be served.... but if there is a life after death, Earthly justice is not the only justice.

Hopefully his life since 1984 has been nothing but horrible!!! It irritates me to think he has had any form of enjoyment on this earth!
