Really? It was aggravated and a very horrible last few moments (with months of horribleness preceeding it).

What are examples of low, mid and high range?

20 years , the Crown proposes?.... holy mary mother of god...still..... that would be a solid 20 with no discount ...

IMHO he took away her quality of life and her right to life as a free person before he finally ended her life in a violent and terrifying way - because she would not submit to his total control over her.
My preference for sentancing would be LIFE, but the Crown will decide.

Mrs and Mr Harnum say they want Lisa's death to send a powerful message to men those who commit domestic violence.

"Stop the unimaginable pain and profound loss due to domestic violence," Joan Harnum said.

"Let my daughter's cries be heard."

I am a bit stunned at the proposal from the Crown re 20 years, no parole... I honestly thought it would be demanding at least 30, if not life. Because of the manner of her death. And his subsequent attempt to cover it up. Implying consciousness of his guilt....the hard drive missing, etc...

I have to think it thru. 20 years.
