How DJK got into Morgan's place, and what he did there prior to the murder is just burning my brain. Because I just cannot fathom Morgan finding DJK attractive, on any level.

Yup - got it in one. That's what is puzzling my brain at the moment. It just doesn't seem to make any sort of sense, no matter what slant we put on it.
And I can't see it as just a targeted assault either - surely Morgan would have had a huge physical advantage, knife or no knife?

Maybe the kid offered Morgan a line of cocaine .. isn't that the great bridge between social divides in Sydney? I know it seems weird that these two ended up together in Morgan's flat, but they certainly did, and it seems like they were in there for over an hour before any attack occurred.

I think he just asked if he could take his book and they said 'sure' and are pretending to be all nice to him so he comes out with all these statements they can use later to stick his butt in jail for ...

What a creepy photo!

I LOVE it! :great:

:D

Maybe DK told MH that he was locked out of his apartment and needed somewhere to hang until key arrived or something like that?

The Magician was the one I was thinking of! The colours looked familiar. I haven't read it but it's one of my husband's favourites and I always used to look at the cover when I was dusting the bookshelves. I have a cleaning lady to do that awful job now, thank goodness!!!

:sweep:

cleaning peeps are my heroes! :rocker:

:D

Has anyone noticed that DJK has nearly NO FRIENDS .. like only a reporter friended him on the completely empty Wattpad site.

I just found this:

A Neutral Bay shop-owner last night described the accused as a loner who never drank and read books by himself over soft drinks at a nearby cafe.

Editing to add this, from one of DJK's neighbours:

The resident, who has lived in the building for more than 10 years, said she had never seen Kelsall in the building or its grounds prior to seeing detectives escorting him away.

It's a strange but quite nice story, attached to that image. I adore (harmless) eccentrics.

"The Sydney City Council brought him to the attention of the police as they had rules about the defacing of pavements, so much so that he narrowly avoided arrest around twenty-four times. Each time he was caught, he responded with, "But I had permission from a higher source".

Several mornings a week for the next 35 years, Stace left his wife, Pearl and their home in Bulwarra Road, Pyrmont around 5am to go around the streets of Sydney and chalk the word "Eternity" on footpaths, train station entrances and anywhere else he could think of. It is estimated that he wrote the word around 500,000 times over the 35 years. Workers arriving in the city would see the word freshly written, but not the writer, and so, "The man who writes Eternity" became a legend in Sydney. The mystery was solved when Reverend Lisle M. Thompson, who preached at the church where Stace worked as a cleaner, saw him take a piece of chalk from his pocket and write the word on the footpath."

DK could have also been trolling sites on how to commit a murder,

When the police go through his pc there might be some further clues as to why he did it and how this guy ticks.

We are all different here, & most of us come to the conclusion that there is no way MH would have been with a guy of DK's descript, then again, alot of us thought it was a woman

As this all unfolds, there could be more jaw dropping facts to emerge

QUOTE]Followed him home at 1.30. Killed him around 3. What happened in the meantime? Was he there the whole time or did he leave and come back?
DK could have been watching/waiting for someone to leave
This is what I am thinking...

Could DJK have been "peeping" (outside a window or ???) while MH was with his female BC during that mystery time frame?

Just a thought...

I agree, Nikki.. whatever the facts are, I have the distinct feeling they'll be eye openers.

I've already been gobsmacked a few times, and we hardly know anything!

Something in my head tells me they did know each other (despite the police either reporting that they didn't, or not being able to find a link just yet). I think the proximity of where they lived, and DJK supposedly worked (I believe he did work there and the owner is just distancing the business from him), means they would have crossed paths. Also I think MH walking back and forth after the pub and the reports of him being in a mood show he knew DJK. I expect that some contact was made earlier in the night and MH was in a mood as he didn't want to leave the engagement party to go and see DJK, so he turned up at the pub in a mood whilst he waiting for DJK. It always struck me as quite an early time for MH to leave the engagement party, and I think a "request" from DJK was the reason he did.

All my own opinion obviously

At work here, so brief.

I keep coming back to one puzzle - if DJK followed or accompanied MH home at about 01:30, but the noise heard by the upstairs neighbour was around 2:30-2:45 which would also coincide with the given (so far) time of the stabbing, with the 000 call at 03:01... - what was happening between 01:30 or just after when they got to MH's place and presumably MH let DJK in, and the attack?

Were they in fact together? Doing "stuff" or having a drink together (with or without something slipped into MH's drink)?

Also - was MH into games etc? Was he prominent as an online persona apart from Facebook?

I asked that question earlier too. What were they doing in the meantime? Was DJK there the whole time, or did he leave and come back? Did he see Morgan put a key down, then take it on his way out?

Oh I hope he didn't smash his hard disc .. I wonder if there have been any movements at his apartment, perhaps they took his computer away on September 22nd and that's why his Facebook went offline that day. The frustrating thing is we'll probably only find out the answers to these questions after he is sentenced .. it's so hard to wait!

His twitter account (I am 99% certain this is him and not the UK guy with the same name). Apologies if I am wrong and please remove the post if so (or I will if someone tells me it's not him).

Can anyone see who the 16 people he is following are, or the 1 person following him?

Removed link as incorrect person

Actually yes, if he was online he'd have a completely different name, if someone searched for me under my own name I'd barely exist either. I found him on some forum about nokia phones, but I'm not sure it's even him, it might just be someone else with the same name, and his post was just some question about phones and from 2007.

I would really like to know whether he worked in that coffee shop or not too, it may be the business trying to distance itself from him, or maybe he didn't? Who knows ..

Arthur Stance .. just the best :)

Just jumping off your post...

IIRC... In an MSM article... Someone who had some type of contact with DJK relayed that DJK had spoken of recently attending some type of conference (Sci-fi? Comics?)

I can't find the article now...

Maybe someone remembers this?

Maybe this could help in narrowing down the games he would play?

Just a thought... :dunno:

September 22 would line up with the time that the police first asked for CCTV in that area. Maybe he got paranoid and knew the police were onto him, so deleted his FB.

I've been lurking but not posting because you guys have had everything covered. I was thinking someone he didn't know but female. The frenzied stabbing made me think obsessed woman. Surprised it's a male. Such a tragic and pointless end to Morgan's life. I know people keep secret lives but I don't believe Morgan was interested in men. Seems like DJK may have had it all in his head. I'm on the fence about motive. Was it sexual made to look like a robbery? Or robbery made to look sexual? Or something else only DJK understands? This DJK seems like a nutter. I like Ausgirls theory that DJK drugged MH at his flat. Or perhaps Morgan rejected DJKs advances, and he came back to kill him in a fit of rage. I am intrigued by the number of times he was stabbed. It suggests something very emotional or deranged. I hope we will find out why Morgan was unable to defend himself.

:welcome: Brightbird!

Glad you came out of lurkdom! :lurk:
