That photo of her feet is just one screen
The witness is saying her feet faced outwards, then twisted around
A video of the reenactment would be much more helpful than 1 pic.

I wonder if there was 1 handprint because GT was holding her by one hand/arm?

That's a good point.

I will shut this thread down if anyone starts to cause trouble. Please, remember the basic rule and that is "Don't be a jerk" and everything will be just fine.

I think you must be referring to what the neighbour witness Ellis said. The MSM reporting of her evidence is very confusing. I'd love to see the actual Court transcript of that evidence. But I doubt it was to the effect you outlined as if it was, the Prosecutor would have been emphasising it over and over. The Police re-enactment photo show the feet pointed inwards.

I have seen a picture of W's feet facing outward away from the building somewhere in MSM....I will try to find it....I think it was in Daily Mail...MOO.

Her shoe's were inside near the lounge - The black ones behind the coffee table

His are on the balcony

So, where were they when we heard the metallic tinkle of something falling to the floor as Tostee was choking Warriena? They could not have been on that carpeted floor. We would not have heard the tinkling sound.
Was he choking her out on the balcony? No need to 'chuck' her out there if they were already out there.

So with Stocking's on, is it not possible, that the witness, may in fact of seen wrong? Regarding which way WW feet were facing? Stocking's cover the entire foot, one may have trouble seeing which way a foot is facing on a dark night?

So many unanswered questions.

Elliss's comments there are confusing and inconsistent. She has also been 'lead' by the Police. I doubt this issue can be resolved until a transcipt of her evidence is available.

Yes there are! This was why the discussion is great, it makes you think and question both sides.

Yes, and keep in mind that it is for the Crown to prove its case on admissible evidence, and beyond reasonable doubt. There is no onus on Defence.

NO this woman sounds oldish in using the terrn "stockings" which would look like bare feet. Same thing.

Or were they in the kitchen, when we heard the tinkling sound? Very close to the front door. Open it, let her out.

And if they were on the balcony, then Warriena could have well been screaming because he did pick her up and place her over the balcony.

(Whether the Crown contended that or not.)

Hi guys,

I've been following this for awhile but only in the news and have got back on the forum these past few weeks. If I mention something that has already been addressed, apologies.

If I had a person in my house that wouldn't leave I'd call the police. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't, wouldn't they?

When GT locked Warriena on his balcony, where did he go? If I locked someone on my balcony I would watch what they were up to. eg. About to smash a chair through the window, destroy his beloved tanning machine? I'm guessing he was a renter. If something were to get broken he'd need to explain that to his landlord.

When he locked the door, it didn't sound like he walked far. His breathing was already heavy and if he had walked it would have become more rapid. I think he watched and he knew what was happening and then when he noticed Warriena was gone he didn't run out onto the balcony to see what happened to her??

This whole case is suss. I don't like the way he speaks to her and then he talks to his dad like he was the victim. He THREATENED Warriena! Any man that threatens a woman has tendencies to go through with these threats.

How do we know GT didn't have a knife or weapon when he went on to the balcony and she was fearful for her life? Why did he have Warriena's phone at all? This whole case just rings alarm bells for me!

This is for GT who may not be found legally guilty of either Warriena's murder or manslaughter in the coming days, although in my mind he is morally responsible for her death.

At the very least he is also a coward for abrogating any responsibility to call for an ambulance the moment he was aware she had fallen or to enquire of emergency services regarding her welfare at the scene. Instead, he has left it to others such as first responders, neighbours and innocent bystanders on the ground to witness Warriena's fall or the horrific injuries she suffered as a result; his only concern being first and foremost himself.

And why? Because he didn't have the sense to escort Warriena from his apartment building along with all of her belongings as soon as she allegedly started to throw ornamental stones at him and then hail and pay for a taxi to take her to where she was staying.

'So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh baby - can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here...'

I am the mother of two adult children; one of whom is a son approximately the same age as GT. He does Crossfit so he is physically strong and more than capable of using his strength to intimidate and/or dominate women. He is also highly intelligent and equally capable of using his mind to manipulate them. He is well groomed, fashionable in his dress, occasionally drinks alcohol to excess and, no doubt, has sexual needs.

Nevertheless, my son possesses a number of strengths of character that GT lacks. Responsibility for his actions and empathy for others. In short, he is not playing at being an adult and a man; he is both.

GT would do well to grow up and follow my son's example if he is fortunate enough to be found not guilty of Warriena's murder.
