Coincidence or not, caravans certainly appear to be a recurring motif of late.

There is the 1987 caravan.

There was the child's cry heard at the caravan park on 28 Sept (http://m.smh.com.au/nsw/william-harr...22-12v4n3.html).

A caravan came up again in the recently revived case of missing Rahma El-Dennaoui (http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/over...el-dennaouis-van/story-e6freuy9-1226513012901), although there is nothing to suggest to us that this case is related to William's.

And I've come across some artwork depicting a caravan as seen through a caravan window, drawn by someone connected to the family who also happens to suffer from chronic PTSD. I wish to stress that I don't think anyone here is in a position to draw any conclusions from this information, nor should we try. But it's interesting!

I should add that so far as I know there has been no mention of a caravan in relation to Farrant.

I think they also mentioned the search was also a direct result of investigative (detectives) intelligence or something along those lines.....makes me wonder was he observed going into that area sometime after they took their cars and he borrowed Colin's..... no doubt his been under surveillance since becoming a POI

yeah I just having trouble accepting the fact that police didn't visit the caravan park until January.....even the caravan park owners statement in the article about the police coming sounded really laidback..... strangely so.... given the gravity - that he was talking about a missing child.

And then we find out that Bill may be charged with other offences related to "Victoria".....the couple in the cabin..were reported to be from "Victoria".

Could it be the media were used to put out the story about the caravan park search to let the couple know the Police a lead about a Victorian couple who had stayed at the caravan park (rattle their cage)....and possibly there was no real call to police at all.

I am not even convinced he was ever in the house, the laundry appears to have an outside door, which is quite common, mine does, so when I have a tradesman come, I invite them in that way. I remember looking at photos of the house and it looks unfenced and the laundry looks to be easily approached without entering the house.
I can't remember where I read it but was there a statement made about BS walking down the side of the house to look at the washing machine to give a quote for the repair ?

'The close friend said Mr Spedding had driven to William’s grandmother’s house on Monday, September 8, walked down the side of her home, saw the washing machine and said he would need to order a part and would come back.'

Colin is providing the information once again :)

Nope. Javent heard any rumours or anything other than whats been reported in news

Apollosong, so good to have a local here. I was curious if you, or any locals, heard anything we mightn't have about the Haven caravan park couple from Victoria? Or if there are any rumours about that?

No there hasnt been a mention of a caravan. It could have happened anywhere

apollosong

I was wondering if it could be a connection with bs. Being as bs was into caravaning it could be quiet possible that there is a connection.

I'm not sure.....I'll have to go back and check if the report (Articles) of the historic charges against Farrant mentioned anything about a caravan...I thought it only gave the ages of children being between 2 and six?? ...so wish my downloads were back.

apollosong are you able to find the article of Farrant's arrest and "paste" the mention of the caravan.. sorry...I just have no download % left... if anyone else can find a mention of caravan in the Farrant arrest can you please post.

In the article I posted ^^^ there was no mention of a caravan, only that the police had searched 'a home' IIRC.

Every morning I check the news hoping for another big break in this case, please let today be the day

Woooow!! Is this where the washing machine is kept? Underneath the house on the side where the alternate driveway is? Hmmm... no one could have seen or probably heard a van pull up there, but the child playing chasey would come around that side.

I have been trying to figure this out, where the washing machine was and where William might have ran to, in relation to the porch where the adults had been sitting. I wish I could find real estate photos of the house. It might show inside the kitchen and the view from the window.

I also found a little bit of info from this link, about William being seen at one point hiding behind a celery wood tree halfway down the garden. It started to drive me crazy because I have no idea what that tree is or where to see it in the photos of the house.

So many hits when googling New South Wales central coast paedophile ring. So many out there

I thought the laundry was at the back of the porch where the pic of William playing on the sundeck was taken. I think somebody saw a packet of washing powder on the window ledge behind William. I'm not sure it's been confirmed that the washing machine was 'at the side of the house' and accessible from outside. Colin's interpretations of what Bill did aren't that reliable IMO.

Another arrest in Coffs Harbour ... if it's not new, apologies, but I haven't seen it before today.

That perps name is Mark Heaney (plenty of articles available for sleuthing)

Is that the photo of grandma's house?

Makes you wonder if there is a connection, and why can't he be named is it to protect the kids identity or a deal done for "helping the police with enquiries"? He targeted a single mother to get to her kids and it sounds like she eventually knew and participated - its sickening.

"Sydney man sentenced to 24 years jail for 'appalling and abhorrent' sexual abuse of step-daughters and their friends""

"The man, who was born in 1947 and who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced on Friday after being convicted on 25 counts of abusing eight children as young as four, and will serve a non-parole period of 16 years."

"Most of the offences took place between 1987 and 1994 at the man's southern Sydney home and a nudist colony in the Southern Highlands."

"At times he filmed his offences, and on at least one occasion had sex with the two girls and their mother.

On that occasion the abuse occurred in a caravan at a naturist retreat in the Southern Highlands while a friend of his step-daughters was forced to watch."
