My son lives in Geelong. I haven't planned a trip but his birthday is coming up at the end of September and I could schedule one then if need be. I could also get access to electoral rolls, etc and visit the library.
 
I haven't followed the case for the past 6 months or so. Has there been any breakthroughs?

Nothing new about William. BS is facing court for historical child sex offences but that's all.

No names. Didn't release photos until today? This baffles me. Hope this has a good ending like the 2 boys last year who climbed up that mountain. Can't recall where in AU that happened. Sigh....

The court heard some of the Victorian charges mirror those Spedding faced in NSW and involved one of the same complainants.

One that was said to have had contact with JH? Hmmm, he was jailed in October 1984. Maybe he was in prison prior to this, awaiting sentence, maybe not.
Did JH live in Victoria? If not then who and what do you use as your defense......another notorious pedo?

I keep thinking about the police's key witness that had previously been described as compulsive, obsessive and bizarre and had a history of making accusations against men according to a judge, not to mention another woman.

BS lawyer will attempt to have some aspects of the Victorian charges suppressed because of a risk of prejudice, the Herald Sun reported....................

"It will be proven in the facts and as the case comes to light it will all make sense …" BS son said.

Not to the public if some aspects are suppressed it would seem. imo

Of course that statement was not too long after we learned of that other line of inquiry ..... which involved an elderly Victorian couple staying in a local caravan park.

There is that big gap in AJ's rap sheet 1983 to 1987, wonder where he was residing at that time.

PB - Well he only hurt one child not children ....grrrr

I agree Makara.
But only one of the same complainant in Victoria.
Therefore, she may not be the key witness in Victoria ... Yet some of the charges mirror those in nsw.

For someone with the trade-craft, someone who would think about this too often, the neighbouring house was empty, there was multiple escape routes, neighbouring houses recessed some way back from property boundary with bushes obscuring,, it was 10:30 mid peak hour, less people home. Williams FF had left the house for a conference call. An observer could see the front and backyard with no fences from Benaroon Dve. An observer could probably see the FGM and FM up stairs, kids downstairs. It is alleged that FM had a conversation with someone about a machine part prior. (Knowing the background of that call is critical)
Both POIs have jobs that require no justification for their where whereabouts, with dynamic whereabouts at any time.

William and his sister were playing hide and seek. It was like a perfect moment and place for abduction. Was someone watching?

AJ in 1974 aged about 18 years was charged with hitting a child under 12 years...(his own?) if so that would surely make them a very young child.
