This post lands at random and is a result of a massive thread cleanup that was required earlier today.
If you have a question about moderation, use the Report feature to ask a moderator for clarification. It is against The Rules (linked in my signature) to question or discuss moderation on the thread. If you do so, you may be assigned Warning points and if that happens it is an automatic time out.
Moderators are called moderators because ... they moderate. Regular members should not try to moderate the thread or tell other members what to do or how to think or post. That is a violation of The Rules.
Personalizing against individual members or the group is not allowed. Discuss the case and not yourself or other members. Wording like “just because my thinking isn’t in line with the majority here” is making the thread about YOU and other members ... instead of about William.
Report problems promptly. Sometimes by the time we get a Report, there are so many posts and responses and more responses to remove that it’s almost impossible to maintain context within the conversation.
Do not start rumors with such things as “oh, i think i read somewhere that ... but can’t find a link”. Next thing everyone is wanting to know where that titillating piece of information came from ... only to find out 50 posts down the road that it was social media rumour.
As always, if there is a problem with a post or you see the thread going south ... PLEASE use the Report feature to alert Mods/Admins so we can catch things earlier before a major cleanup is required.
If you have questions about the above, do not post about it on the thread; just use the Report feature on any post to ask a Mod/Admin for clarification or private message one of them with your question.
