Why didn't the police or whoever simply ask PS to clarify exactly what or whom he was talking about, then it wouldn't even be an issue, duh! No logic whatsoever just smoke & mirrors all the time with this nonsense, IMO.

I wonder what the other investigators working this case think really happened to WT at this present stage? And from what Beacroft said i don't think PS is much of a POI anyway, IMO.

I don't think the Police will give any more updates on the case, unless they find William … It appears to have been bad PR so far... and very damaging to all parties involved...

Unless we hear more about the case from this trial, and the upcoming tranche of the inquest...…. I think it will be quiet times... unless the media can keep the case alive??

Hopefully there will be a "light bulb" moment at the inquest in March !

I just wish that William could be found.... and soon...

The court heard he was also overheard saying “I’m gonna run into your property too in Gordon. This is my place.” The court heard Gordon is the suburb where William’s foster grandmother would get off the train when she came to Sydney to visit her foster grandchildren.

I don't think "I'm gonna run into your property too in Gordon" makes sense. Due to the poor quality of the recording I'm inclined to think the wording hasn't been deciphered correctly. As a guess, it sounds as though he's sick of someone coming onto his property. If not police, perhaps media.

The instant I read it, I had the immediate thought he was ticked off and giving Jubelin a piece of his mind.

Yes I remember this too, It would be a pretty daring thing to do knowing that police dogs would likely be on the trail in a matter time sniffing around.

Although.... after saying goodbye to Heather at 10.37 he went inside and phoned an x-ray business to make an appointment at 10.41. AMS came to the door at 10.50.

Well yes first and foremost the avo placed on him by the local postie with a list of stalking behaviour suggested.. the fgm asking Heather savage to tell her husband to stop coming over .. that in itself speaks volumes because fgm could have told savage directly but she chose to go through his wife to get that message across.. his every day morning visits to caravan lady.. a married man doing that most mornings??? Not trying to step on anyone’s toes or offend or accuse.. simply crewting a profile with the information we’ve been given..

How would PS have known that fgm got off the train at Gordon?
Maybe with all the muffle and static in the recording he did not say in Gordon. Maybe in PS mind he was talking to a Gordon, be he real or imagined.

he could know those things if fgm talked to his wife,just in passing..he took in a lot of things as we have learnt..im not sure about that comment yet..maybe its related to Gary and the search,i also wondered if mfc had been over to have a word

I don't think "I'm gonna run into your property too in Gordon" makes sense. Due to the poor quality of the recording I'm inclined to think the wording hasn't been deciphered correctly. As a guess, it sounds as though he's sick of someone coming onto his property. If not police, perhaps media.

If I was the posty, and some weird, aggressive old guy was stalking me, I'd probably make it known to the other neighbours, for my own safety. I'd be like, if you ever see him sneaking up behind me, call out and let me know...

PS was planned to go on a 4 hour drive to casino that very day.
but didn't.
so he is lucid enough to make plans to care for someone and drive long distances but not lucid enough to remember to call and tell his brother he isn't coming now??
and why wouldn't he go???his brother needed him.


old men with dementia are very very difficult and can be devious.
this man has a record of odd and unacceptable behaviours.
has little regard for authority, continuing to harass the postie with an avo in place a perfect example.

an ever changing revolving door of answers and reasoning clocking up to mental health issues.....isn't that convenient .......right about now.

I guess it's possible that PS was referring to William. At the time of the recording PS would've been deeply tangled in the investigation of William's disappearance. The trauma of losing his wife combined with the stress of the investigation could've caused him to lose touch with reality. It sounds like he may have had a fragile state of mind before William disappeared even.

I can imagine the following scenario: PS suffering from extreme frustration/anxiety which causes an involuntary verbalisation to try stop the voices/ images playing over and over in his mind.

I am remembering now that I once had a friend who in the grip of a major psychotic episode mistakenly believed that they were uninvolved in the murder of a local girl that had happened years earlier. The police investigated but fortunately were able to tell straight away that they'd had nothing to do with it.

I wonder if at times PS can't be sure himself that he isn't involved in William's disappearance and those mixed messages are why Jubelin became so focused on him.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you here. If FG and Heather were friends, and it sounds like they were, FG could easily have said in a conversation that she was catching the train to Gordon to visit the children. Heather then could have brought it up in conversation with PS. IMO

Taking into account the fact that fgm husband passed away earlier that year so maybe it wasn’t until after that when PS started showing up at her back door whenever he pleased.. prior to then with fgm husband in the picture both families may have been on good neighbourly terms

I do remember when Jubelin made a big deal about the drained pool with the tin sheet metal on top of it. Could he have stashed a small boy in there until wifey left for Bingo?

Perhaps if he was knocked unconscious or already dead, but I don't see how a toddler could be silent and unnoticed?

He certainly is a complex character. I find myself swinging back and forth between thinking he is cunning and devious to just plain addled.
