The elderly man told the inquest before William went missing he'd sat on his veranda with toast and tea between 9am and 9.30am and could hear children playing.

Why would you think it has been? Are you implying guilt on their part? Or as part of a well planned police sting to entrap a main player?

I believe DrSleuth was at March 2019 inquest and from the reporting via Lia Harris and a couple of websleuth members that the time ff left fgm house was around 9am. Zero accusations by this post thank you. thought this information would be necessary in forming a kind of accurate timeline of that morning

No we haven't herd very much about him at all...….. but I have just recently learned from CO's Book that his name and all other information about him has now been "Suppressed " and this would now make sense, as to why, we haven't heard much about him...… he may have even testified and we wouldn't know ..

It would be interesting to know why his info has been "suppressed"???

The Police have released the dates and times of the 3 occasions his home was searched:
12/9 @ 14:40hrs
12/9 @ 15:30hrs and
13/9 @ 11:00 hrs

IIRC, he was sleeping when W disappeared. He did not answer the door when AMS and FM came knocking, and police later looked into his attic, etc. I remember reading that this individual has been cleared, however I'm not sure why or how - (only because if a resident of that neighbourhood happened to have been home at the time and there are no witnesses to corroborate their actions, how can anyone really be cleared?).

All for CO writing a book good on her -more attention to the case the better - but timing is odd, an inquest is in progress so it can’t really bring anything further at this point than the inquest would?

I think post inquest would have been a better time then sure - add what you think was missed etc? Just my opinions only.

If I were CO, I wouldn't have wanted to write a sad story about a missing little sweet boy including the possible end in 2020: zero results at an 3piece inquest, the abductor/s and/or instigator/s forever free probably. MOO So I think, at first CO's decision might be quite right.

It would appear that my post has been misinterpreted. Police often withhold information (eg white spider) or put out confusing information in order to sting a suspect.

Its also important to shut down any perceived conjecture that the ff are guilty, as the police have confirmed their innocence, as has sillybilly, who has expressly directed us not to insinuate otherwise. We wouldn’t want the thread closed when the next tranche is starting. IMO.

The Coronial Inquest into the disappearance of William Tyrrell will resume this morning in Taree, about 50km from where the toddler disappeared on the NSW Mid North Coast.

By list, I take that to mean list of people to appear at the inquest, not list of POI's. imo

From what I recall, he went to a community centre of some kind hoping to meet up with a female officer who he'd known since she was a baby, but she wasn't there, and he instead ran into the officer's sister and reported it to her, telling her to pass the information onto her police sister.

Frank Abbott is also on the list for the upcoming inquest but due to the circumstances surrounding him by that I mean his prison cell I wonder if it will be a closed court, most likely. His information is what I’m interested in hearing that’s for sure

I was under the impression from what I read some time ago that he was checked out by police and was given the all clear but I could be wrong
