In the new episode of podcast “William Tyrrell - Nowhere child” part of LT statement is heard, the fact that she recalls searching for William is telling IMO, how could there be time for an accident or incident to occur, plan & then cover up as well as a staged search before everyone else was involved, from memory during the FFC search that involved neighbours LT was with the FGM back at the house (correct me if I’m wrong on that)
Caroline Overington also seemed to really emphasise that the police are testing every theory again

This confirms what I thought and what I have seen in other cases where LE say, "the family are cooperating with us".

Now, this makes me wonder if no one ever asked to search the FGM's car at the time.

Were the FF simply trusted at face value? LE scared of offending them?

I've never heard of this happening before.

If the FF were asked and they said no surely there would be red flags.

It's beginning to look more and more like the bolded is true - the FP were taken at face value and instantly, implicitly believed; they were never considered potential suspects and the property was never treated as a potential crime scene. Investigators went around saying FP had been ruled out and cleared but they had never been investigated thoroughly. It was assumed it was an abduction and no other line was possibility was pursued until Laidlaw took over (incidentally, around the same time FP started complaining on facebook about the investigation and "fake news").

They could have been going back through witness reports from the early days which included someone saying they passed a car that threw something out the window. Maybe is was that semi that tbe FM mentioned...

Maybe the witness mistook the bus stop area for the Pony club area further back, especially at night. They are searching the right side of the road at the moment and on the other search in 2018 it was the left side. So not sure if linked. But maybe the experts said with rain it would no be on the right side now because of the hydrology of the area.

I am trying really hard to get my head around the sudden change in direction of this case. It appeared for quite some time that FA was the main poi in this case, and for apparently good reason. Now the sudden and unexpected change of focus to the FFC. Could these two be linked somehow? As unlikely as it sounds, could child trafficking be a part of this?

The fact that no trace of William has been found to date (after 7 years!) makes it seem so unlikely that any local remains would be found now. But we are now aware that FFC took a drive down Batar Creek Rd after William was discovered missing but before she called 000. Could this possibly link in with RP’s account of picking up FA and William behind the Kendall School shed? Kendall School is a 4 minute drive from Benaroon Drive along Batar Creek Road. All a crazy theory.. but all other theories in play at the moment seem equally unlikely. IMO

Do we know if the airport trip she went alone? Did FGM go with her, or the daughter?

The fact she was not tailed by police is astonishing. They are in a rural area, bush all around, you would think she would be followed, just to clear it as a line of enquiry. Even if she went up the street for milk, she should be followed. This was going to come up. Even if an innocent trip and he was abducted. A defence attorney would be all over this oversight at a trial. The mother goes on a trip at night through rural Nrthn NSW and no one followed her.

William Tyrrell: Forensic search at Kendall shifts to Batar Creek Road with new information

JUNE 27 2018 - 11:34AM

The team of 50, led by Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin, will now include an area of bushland at Cedars Loggers Lane and Batar Creek Road in Batar Creek in the specific areas of interest – just four kilometres from where William vanished.
NSW Police issued a statement at 11am on June 27 confirming a new area of interest has been identified.
“As a result of information uncovered during the course of the investigation, Strike Force Rosann detectives identified an area of bushland at Cedar Loggers Lane and Batar Creek Road, Batar Creek, as an area of interest to their inquiries.

“The search operation, which involves police and emergency services volunteers, commenced at the location this morning.”

Police would not disclose what information they had received to shift the focus of the search to the fresh location.

He said it was the day after he went missing, the 13th that he went to the school. He was in hospital on Dialysis the day he disappeared.

I don’t understand how she would have had the time to dig a grave where he would not be found during the search, unless she went further away than she said, maybe to some flowing water.

I seem to recall a certain someone mentioning she hoped he wasn't in a hole somewhere...

Does anyone recall FGM ever speaking out in public after Wlliam went missing?
Strange if she didn’t as she seemed well known and respected in Kendall, and no shrinking violet.
Wonder if FP’s were always intending taking her to Sydney to live with them after her home sold.

The FFC has emerged as the one person of interest in his disappearance from his FFGM’s home.

Last week LE seized the FFGM’s Mazda 3 that she drove at the time of his disappearance. She has since died and the car was sold or given to someone else.

LE said this morning that they had seized the car at Gymea in Sydney’s south last week under a coronial order. “The vehicle was taken to a secure facility, where it is undergoing extensive forensic examinations and analysis, which is expected to take several weeks” investigators said in a statement.

The announcement of the car’s seizure comes after police sprayed luminol at the house on Tuesday night.

Technical specialists from the AFP arrived in Kendall on Wednesday morning.

A ground-penetrating radar that detects inconsistencies within the landscape will be deployed on Wednesday afternoon. Drones will also be used.

Investigators will also begin excavating the five-metre patch of bushland as detectives are honing in on following new information. A hydrologist, who is working with police on the investigation, has concluded that if WT’s body was in that small patch, it could only have then moved to a nearby tributary on private land, which police will now search for bones or fragments of clothing.

What if FM was holding William up over the balcony for a quick photo or something and he fell??? This would explain the not telling anyone what really happened, if William was alive after the fall he could say that mummy held him up on the balcony which would be seen as negligence…

I’m trying hard to remember this sighting but only have a vague recollection and can’t find any articles on the little information I remember. This was discussed very early on in the threads and I believe there may have been some media articles too.

Does anyone else remember the sighting of the distraught woman, by a truck driver on the day William disappeared? I’m remembering something about a black car and a u-turn, but not too sure if those details are correct or not.
