Hold on, we all know that LE has been SUPER thorough in investigating this home and they would NOT just take notice of a car that has been sitting there for the last 5 days without looking inside and taking anything of interest.

Perhaps, they decided to get an official search warrant to remove any items from the car since they are winding down on their search within the home etc.

pretty detailed ("folded cloth and carpet")... but I am waiting for some other kind of word on what Nancy is saying

NG is always detailed with her words even when using the wrong ones. Example: parents kicked out of the house; screen ripped out of the window, or torn out of the window ... POOP like that!

Maybe this is the car they were in when they left the home and now they have returned and LE realized that car had not been searched before they left. Just a thought.

warrant: Chief Villasenor said they were doing things the official way in getting a warrant and has also said the family is cooperating

Well in the google pics of the house there looks to be a little red car in the driveway that possibly looks like it might be old and not used or maybe broke down. When I rode by the other day, there seemed to be a similar car in the driveway in the same spot as the google pic. Maybe it is that car they are searching or taking stuff from? Just guessing.

If Nancy has a true bombshell, someone had better come over stat and pick me up off of the floor. ;)

You are so right ... there will be a lot of :thud: :thud: :thud:

Thank You all for the updates ... back to catching up ...

Interesting if the parents said that. Wonder if they are getting some legal advice? I have to say that it's good to protect themselves, even if they are completely innocent.

(regarding the following post by oceanblueeyes)

I think LE was asked that question on one of the shows and they said the family did agree to have their home searched but they wanted to do it the legal way through a SW.

I think oceanblueeyes meant that the family agreed to the search, but that "they" (meaning LE) wanted to have warrants in hand.

:what: You know you just made me REALLY see how that curtain thing could be true. My daughters are pink and you can see them from our street and even more so if blinds are up or windows up. THOSE ARE COMING DOWN TOMMOROW!!!! You just can NOT be too safe anymore! :panic:

The things we don't think of. Someone also posted earlier about a burglar who said that most people already have a ladder in their backyard as to he didn't ever have to bring one. Yikes When my husband gets home a ladder in my backyard is coming into the house and down to the basement. Who would have thought? Can't be to careful as it seems kids are missing more and more these days. (Sad)

Well, LE is not going to forget to search the family cars prior to the family taking off in one of the family vehicles.

For all we know, LE may have kept the family vehicles until they did a thorough search of all of them.

The car in this thread discussion via Nancy Grace's Facebook/Twit Sites, has to do with a vehicle that has been at the house and not moved, as far as we can tell.

Nancy just plain confuses everything.

It's always smart to get a warrant because, without a warrant, the people whose house is being searched could decide halfway through the search, "OK, search is over; everybody out!" Also, having a warrant could prevent defense lawyers down the road from arguinf that the family hadn't really given permission for their house to be searched, e.g., "The mother was hysterical, the cop told her he 'had' to get into the house:, etc.

well, even if what nancy says has some basis in reality... the local media seems to be on a short leash and are not reporting anything but the updates fwiw

(from the getgo the national media scooped them as well...)

I wonder what kind of stuff the family takes to the little league games? I know when all of us attended, there'd be lawn chairs, coolers, blankets, all kinds of carp. Since the family had return late Friday evening from such an event, could this be the remnants of their outdoorsy evening away from home? :waitasec:

Also, about coming home that Friday night: it matters to me if both cars were usually parked inside the garage-- if so, the entire family probably entered the home that night via the garage door, and not the front gate. If the front gate was normally locked for the night, it may not have been checked. :(

I hate to say it, but now that I'm looking at the front of the house as the possible entry point, I'm realllllly hating the view from the vacant lots catercorner/next door to the two story place. Someone could have cased that home for weeks on end without drawing any attention to themselves. moo

Oh okay thanks. I did not see that in the Facebook post that it was a car that had been there all along. I have seen the posts where people mentioned a car in a Google picture, but I also have seen the dates posted on those pictures. Very confusing and may not be all NG's fault. jmo

I don't know about NG....sometimes she seems to be on it and other times she is in her own world for whatever reason.

BBM: And may I add that WS always "scoops" HLN and many times, the MSM !
