Shiver shook her head and mouthed the word 'no' when a DailyMail reporter asked if she had tried to hire a hitman to murder Robert.

she was led out again in handcuffs and driven back to Fox Hill Prison after a judge ordered that she spend at least one more night behind bars ahead of a Wednesday bail hearing.

No charges have been filed in relation to the alleged robbery at Grabbers.

I am surprised that she's wearing a gold bracelet, that would be quite something of value to the other inmates. Maybe they gave her the duffle bag to dress from before she went to the police station today. I am assuming that they have inmate clothing while in a cell.

Another observation, that doesn't look like a fresh manicure, it looks like she's in need of one. JMO

Lindsay Shiver, who is accused of plotting to kill her husband, was sent back to jail after being fitted for an ankle monitor.

ABACO, Bahamas (Court TV) — The American woman arrested last month for conspiring to kill her husband in the Bahamas appeared to be fitted for an ankle monitor on Tuesday, but was not released on bail as expected. According to the conditions of her bail, once granted, Lindsay Shiver cannot leave the Bahamas until her October 5 court date, and must wear the ankle monitor.

Guess who is spending their twelfth traumatizing night with a bucket in the HellHole known as the Queen's Prison in Nassau. Maybe she'll have a visitor tomorrow.

If her family is considering purchasing a home for their daughter, as has been reported, because she's restricted and confined to the approximte area due to the required tri-weekly, M, W, F, check-ins, then will it take a while to close a sale on real estate property even for a cash sale? Otherwise, they may need to find suitable leasing facilities for her if haste is an issue. I would declare my release to be an Emergency and surely would be urging my parents to Hurry!

Lindsay has placed her parents in an unenviable bind. No one needs extra burdens and responsibilities when they've been blessed to reach retirement age; such as, tending to an adult child's financial security and maintaining a healthy relationship with the SIL who's divorcing their daughter all while balancing the stability of their grandchildren during this watershed event.

I guess you’re right. When I first saw it, I did t have a good view. But when I zoom in, it does look like a that has grown out. I know my nails grow fast, and look like they need a manicure in no more than a week.

I have to say that when I was an adult, the age of LS, I was ….on my own.
I mean completely, since the age of 18. I don’t get these grown up married women with families, still being dependent on their parents these days.
Whats with that?
Ok, I do recall , once asking my ‘father’ for a loan for 300.00 , so I could move away from my ex husband. I was , oh… 24 y/o…. I started a new job in another hospital in another city….. and yes, I did repay him the following month. He never even offered to give me money. And if he had, I would have said no thank you. I never wanted anything from him. But then thats a whole new ball of wax, lol. You guys probably KWIM. It was called a sticky situation , lol.
.

I'm picturing a lease on a safe house in a gated community. Security already in place. She's not going to the spa anytime soon.

Is that true about the bucket? (I heard the same on some news report, too) Do they make the inmates empty it?

'Just the idea... I can't. (Little wonder camping was never one of my favorite activities, lol)

fred&edna, I just can't either. I enjoy steak and shrimp too much to kill anyone. And, to kill someone in a foreign nation is quite simply out of the question.

Queen's Prison inmates complain about bed sores created by sleeping on an uncovered hard surface, for example. The prison was built to house 1000 but it currently has around 1600. I believe only appx 45 are women.

Inmates in each cell share a bucket without a lid. There are images from 2019 - but maybe that's changed? WARNING: sensitive images and compelling conditions REGIONAL - Bahamas prison ‘not fit for humanity’ - Barbados Today

US inspected and issued a reprimand that read, in part, “Many cells also lacked running water, and in those cells, inmates removed human waste by bucket,” the report read.

The facility has been under fire for inhumane conditions due to lack of proper nutrition (they're fed copious amounts of plain bread as in two slices for a complete meal), severe overcrowding (doing most any questionable thing gets one tossed into the hellhole - it's their traditional policy, imo, and now they have a sharp influx of Haitians on the island since Cat 5 Hurricane Dorian in 2019 stalled over the Bahamas killing 43 with 35 of those from the Abacos islands so there's a clash of cultures currently between the natives and the illegal immigrants taking place, imo), head lice, rodents (that can climb the rough surface of concrete walls) and varmints with more than two legs and so forth. In more recent times, the filthy concrete prison did get air conditioning installed that perhaps helps to keep the tempers of the inmates cooler~calmer.

I wasn't sure if these conditions plagued only the maximum security unit but it doesn't seem so... it's no joke.

And, Covid worsened matters it seems

I am picturing a gated community with amenities behind the gate such as a spa, restaurants, shops, etc...she won't be living like a local by any means. Question, will she have to stay in Nassau proper or can she go to another island?

I have one kid, a son who is 17. Good kid.

Anyway, if he was involved in this kind of stuff, at age 38, I would let him sit in prison for awhile, instead of renting him a place.

Wonder if the local dude's job title was bar guy/hitman? Is he known locally as a killer?

Was the plan for the husband to come there or was the hitman going to the US?
