I guess he's given over his social media to others to post for him. I thought he was out on bail. Didn't realize it was other people posting for him. Good idea to post your jail address and ask people to visit and send you stuff. What's this world coming to? Social media accounts for anyone jailed or incarcerated should be shut down immediately. And every time someone starts up one of those crowd sourcing fundraisers for any reason having to do with an incarcerated person, they should be fined themselves. Enough is enough.

MOO

I agree. How very arrogant of him to expect support for his childish and destructive behavior. He, like Heather, seems to feel quite entitled to do anything he wants...even from jail! With no remorse! I agree. Shut down their social media accounts, once incarcerated. Why should they have a platform to spew their sick, distorted BS?
IMO, of course.

:cow: Need some cows here. :cow:

No class Tommy Escort! Having a friend giving the bird on your page is really not appealing. What kind of woman is attracted to that? Yeah, you're a dreamer alright. Sounds so harmless to be a dreamer, but your dream was to use someone's stolen credit card to live it up in a fancy hotel and you dreamt to kill someone's mother so you could live the rich life. I'm telling you, in case you haven't realized it yet, your dreams were greedy and dangerous.

MOO

TS also listed respectful in the description. How respectful could he have been @ 6'3 200lbs bashing in the face of a 60+ yr woman. Wonder what his cell mates think of him beating and killing a senior citizen woman. Jmo

ciao

Thanks @Mountain Mist! I wonder when the ad was placed..no real way to tell I imagine although we know the jacket he has on was being recently worn.

Finally ... an article from a western source.

Indonesian prosecutors say the trial of an American couple charged with murdering the woman's mother should proceed despite defense arguments that the indictments are inaccurate and should be annulled.

State prosecutor Eddy Arta Wijaya argued Wednesday that the indictment and the charges are very clear.

Judges will decide if the trial should move forward next Monday.

Trouble getting that bribe money authorized? ;)

I feel very depressed about this case. I think HM is going to get away with it. The bribery money that the American judge allowed to be released, the carefree attitude of HM, the delay...Yeah. I have serious worries she will get out of it.

This appears to be the other "friend" who is helping them. Definitely a couple of Australian women it appears. I'm sure they are in the courtroom during the trial as well. I saw a pic with what looks like a side view of the blond one. What I want to know is how these people can just walk up to holding cells in a court of law and hand them money and take their lunch and dinner orders?

Banana republic. Sickening.

My initial thoughts that there would be justice in this case and that unlike in the US, they wouldn't be able to hire a slick attorney and fake their way out of justice, have disappeared. And the prison system there appears to be a joke. It's nothing compared to prison life in the states. So even if they ultimately do get sentenced to something, they will be able to live a life of leisure, playing tennis, gardening, barbecuing, having people fetch them burgers, etc.

Yeah, they can't leave and it's a third world country but come on.

I'm hoping that the judge taking until Monday to decide if the trial will go forward is like our Committal Hearings where the judge reviews the prosecution's case and decides if the murder charge has enough merit to proceed in a trial. :crossfingers:

(In other words, I am hoping that he is not out shopping for an expensive new car over the weekend - as he figures out what he'll say if someone asks where he got the cash from for the purchase.)

:floorlaugh:

Good one SouthAussie!

:floorlaugh:

Sad that she could walk.

Can anyone please explain to me why the DT thinks the charging documents are inaccurate? TIA

If I correctly understood, there was a room reference error in the documents - stated the murder happened in TS' room instead of the Macks' room.

I'm still hoping that if they get off in Bali they'll be tried in the U.S. If that's a real option I actually prefer they get off, I can't stand the level of comfort they have now. They need to go to real prison and should at the very least not be allowed to see each other. Smdh.

TS turned 21 in July 2014 GH... so as the advert has him aged 21, we can suggest that it was placed in the month before he went to Bali.

This is where the origin of the mix up re room numbers happened. This image comes from screen shot from Bali TV station news broadcast video (I've posted it before in an earlier thread) It's not a photo of HM's passport. It is a photo of the photocopy of HM's passport as held by the hotel where they were staying.

See on the RHS beyond the edge of the passport the number 317 crossed out and then the change of Room to what was it 611? I've forgotten. One was the Room for CM and Sheila and the other was registered to TS. What happened is that HM changed rooms with reception. Any wonder it was a confusion for the Indonesian authorities.

Trust I've explained it correctly. Bring on Monday... I want to let off some fireworks.

Room 616 it was, MM. I did read an article last week that said the prosecutor was being given the time to correct his document, so I think it should all read correctly now.

I can't wait to let off fireworks too.

Just struggling with my thoughts of the Indonesian authorities right now. Everything in our media is about Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran at the moment, as they are fighting for their lives - and we are all behind them. And thinking of Ms Heather Mack rolling in the dough and potentially getting a light sentence for arranging and participating in the brutal murder of the woman who gave birth to her and gave her everything she could is just making me sick.

It is craziness. :shakehead:

(And not to mention the way they completely stuffed up the QZ8501 retrieval and have now virtually given up and lost the remains of 90 people.)

HM has mentioned staying in Bali after the trial is over. That may be some ridiculous attempt to curry favor with the local authorities - or it may be because she's been told that she could possibly be charged in the US when she returns.

If the defense can get the pre-meditation charges dropped, TS could get 15 years and HM could get off on the minor 9-month charge.

Don't be fooled into thinking the prison is that great. The pictures don't show the unrelenting heat and humidity, washing one's clothes and self in a bucket, bugs, noise, lack of privacy. The rooms don't look too bad - but the prisoners are confined in their rooms from 3PM-9AM.

And there are the issues with other prisoners. IIRC, Liza Ormsby was beaten up more than once. Renae Lawrence managed to get in trouble after doing fairly well for a decade. HM starts showing attitude and some of these women are going to give her attitude right back.

The head of Kerobokan Prison is scheduled to be on a current affairs news show tomorrow (Monday night). I imagine it will be a fairly short video link appearance, and mostly due to the pending executions of our Aussies, but if he says anything of any interest here I will post a link to the show (The Project) later .. when it goes up online.

C'mon judgey man, please do the right thing today. :please:
