Where they burned the seats & carpeting from Tim's truck?

Feb 17 2016 12:13 PM
Main says he "goes too fast through there" to have seen the burn sites before the 11th when he was with police.

Feb 17 2016 12:14 PM
Corwn is now done. Millard's lawyer Nadir Sachak now cross examining.

Feb 17 2016 12:15 PM
Sachak asking what kind of beer was used in the arrangement to ride Main's dirtbike in the field. "Cold and open, properly," he says, to laughs in the courtroom.

Feb 17 2016 12:16 PM
"During the hundreds of times you and Adam have been on the property, not once had someone said to get off the property?" Sachak says. "No sir," Main says.

Feb 17 2016 12:16 PM
Main says he has seen other people on dirtbikes and snowmobiles on that property.

Feb 17 2016 12:17 PM
Sachak focusing his questions on the fact that no one has ever said they couldn't use the property.

(heh)

Feb 17 2016 12:18 PM
Main says he has been on the pathway where the incinerator was found in October, usually.

(Careful with the grammar here, I don't think they mean the incinerator was found in October.)

Feb 17 2016 12:19 PM
Main says he was also on the pathway on May 8.

Feb 17 2016 12:19 PM
It's also accessible by foot. "There's no barriers to the pathway?" Sachak says. "No sir," Main responds.

Feb 17 2016 12:20 PM
"No one has ever told you you can't walk on the pathway, the roadway where the incinerator was?" Sachak says. "No sir."

Oops...sorry. You are absolutely correct, so the opposite. They arrested DM and had the evidence of the purchase and then found the Eliminator.

Not quite. They arrested DM on the 10th, found the Eliminator on the 11th, and had the evidence of the purchase on the 16th.

At 7:04 p.m. on May 16, 2013, police broke the evidence seal on the driver’s side door of Millard’s 2000 dark blue GMC Yukon XL and began their search, the jury heard Tuesday.

Sachak now asking about the excavator. He says the excavator had been in the swamp since the winter. Main says he had seen it there on several occasions before. "The excavator I know blew the motor," Main says.

If no one else is doing tweets, just ArianeEmory doing Carter's liveblog, I can do other tweets for awhile.

Feb 17 2016 12:23 PM
Court now seeing the map of the area again. Sachak asking more questions about the layout of the roadway by the treeline where the incinerator was found.

Feb 17 2016 12:24 PM
Smich's lawyer Thomas Dungey now cross examining.

Feb 17 2016 12:26 PM
Dungey asking if you could see the eliminator from certain fields in the treeline. Main says you can from one of the fields, and that it was closer to the field. Dungey is done. Witness excused.

Now Det. Const. Ben Adams of @HamiltonPolice.

Why would DM need that thing out in a swamp in the winter of 2012? No wonder motor burned out.
