Prosecution calls forth Jessica Woodbridge to testify. Woodbridge works for Bank of America. She is a custodian of records.

Topic of discussion: Bank of America account belonging to Robert Pape and his mother. Statement for checking account Aug. 24th - Sept. 21st of 2006. Covers the night of the murders. Shows there was no activity for that day- Sept. 17th.

Defense attorney Jeff Moore begins cross-examination of Woodbridge. Establishes the statements only reflect bank accounts, but do not account for cash payments.

Woodbridge has been excused.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife, has been sworn in and is on the stand. She says she still considers Pape her best friend. They were married 2011 and divorced at the end of 2015.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Started dating Pape in January of 2006.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says they were inseparable once they started dating. She has known both Pape and Smith since middle school.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says in 2006, Pape would go to church “pretty often.”

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Told investigators he would sometimes tell his mother he was going to church, but would not. Said he would rather play video games. In all the time they dated, she does not ever recall attending church with him.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says she does not remember if she was aware or not of Robert speaking with Becky over the phone in September of 2006, but testifies Becky Friedli was a "sore subject" in their relationship in 2006.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife is on the stand. Much of her testimony so far has been "I don't recall" or "I don't remember,"-- even in regards to some of her interview with investigators in 2016.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says she would not have been happy if Robert were planning on hiking with Becky. She remembers calling Robert Pape about 5 times the night of the murders. Tried to get ahold of him for several hours.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Testifies there is not another instance she remembers not being able to get a hold of Pape for that long. Says she was worried something happened to him. Says she believes it was about 8:30 when she finally spoke to him.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Testifies she remembers having a conversation with Pape about guns. Does not recall which guns they were talking about. Prosecution has presented her a transcript of a call from June 5th, 2014.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Testifies that most of the time she was under the influence during the calls, hindering her memory.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says Pape was a responsible gun owner and would have had all of the guns registered. Most of his guns were stored in the gun closet in their house.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Two of the guns were registered to Sara, but she says she did not register them. Phone calls include Pape making remarks about sending guns away. Sara says she does not know where that was.

Prosecution does not have any more questions for Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife. The jurors have been dismissed for lunch.

#PinyonPines triple murder trial: Court is back in session. Jury has been brought in. Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife is on the stand. Pape's defense attorney, Jeff Moore, is cross-examining.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Testifies she has PTSD because of this. She suffers from anxiety. She steadfastly believes Robert Pape did not commit this crime. Pape was "never" violent with her, even after she admitted she had cheated on him during their marriage.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Her unfaithfulness ended their marriage and was the reason for their divorce.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: The first time any investigators came to interview her, that she can recall, was 2014. Roughly 8 years after the murders.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: "Even though we don’t speak, he is one of the best people I have ever known." Says she still loves Robert Pape.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife talking about the night of the murders: Pape, her boyfriend of 9 months at the time, did not give any indication that he would be out of touch for a prolonged period of time. Did not act out of character when she spoke to him later that night.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Investigators listened to several hundred phone calls between Honaker and Pape when they were married. Says she was "disgusted" when she found out.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Says she was "never" asked to hide or conceal guns by Robert Pape. Says recordings reveal he wanted to keep his property safe.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: =Pape purchased a gun and registered it in her name. She never asked why he would do that. Says she wanted a gun.

Sara Honaker, Robert Pape’s ex-wife: Prosecution is questioning again. Asking about when she told Pape she was unfaithful. Establishes Pape was in custody when he found out.

Judge just read through a number of stipulations regarding DNA evidence. Items like the handles of the wheelbarrow, gas canister, Becky Friedli's underwear, socks and shoes, etc. Nothing tested was a match to Robert Pape or Cristin Smith. Many results exclude them.

DNA evidence: One of Becky Friedli's socks that she was wearing when her body was found, had DNA from an unknown male. Pape and Smith were excluded as matches. #PinyonPines triple murder

New expert witness has been called to the stand: Alma Flores is a latent print analyst with the California Department of Justice. She has more than 34 years of experience. #PinyonPines triple homicide

Alma Flores, latent print analyst with the CA Dept. of Justice: Analyzed finger prints found on business card located at murder scene via a picture (standard way) against the prints of Cristin Smith and Robert Pape. Was not provided any background on crime, except it was a murder

Alma Flores, latent print analyst with the CA Dept. of Justice: Business card is projected onto screen behind her. Whirls and ridgepoints are distinguishable.

Alma Flores, latent print analyst with the CA Dept. of Justice: Pape was excluded as a match to the fingerprints found on the business card. She found Smith's fingerprints had similarities.

Plead not guilty.
*Robert Lars Pape (29/18 @ time of crime) (ex-BF) charged with 3 counts of murder with special circumstances allegedly of committing multiple murders & faces LWOP. Plead not guilty.
**Both arrested in March, 2014, but case was dismissed in October, 2014
5/14/18: Judge Schwartz lets jury know that the prosecution could rest their case on Wednesday, 5/16. Still on schedule. No court on Fridays.

Moral turpitude could be grounds for impeachment of Witt's preliminary hearing testimony, which was read aloud for jury last week. Witness involved in some issues with Witt will be brought in for hearing today.
