Thank you! I'll be very pleased if I only have to wait a day to see it.

a sleuther sent me this, and I appreciate it:

http://tv.msn.com/tv/episode/disappeared/long-lost-love/

I requested clarification from Disappeared as to what the title of the episode is and the actual airdate. I am pretty certain that MSNBC has the wrong air date, but we will see! :)

The more I look at it, the more clear it is that it is probably a mistake:

http://tv.msn.com/tv/series-episodes/disappeared/

New shows air on Mondays, so it should be 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25

The good news is that MSM is starting to pick up the information...YAY!!!

I think you're right. On the publications I worked on, the listings were always a bit of a specialist job; it was so easy to make a mistake, and also to be sent a mistake that's then listed. Hope they correct it though, if that's the case. I would hate for the wrong date to travel far and wide.

I don't want to get told off by believe09, but if anyone googles Bob Harrod missing now, something new comes up. It will only lead you straight back here, or to ID TV, and is there for emergency use only. So it is very basic. I would like to know what you guys think though; it can always be changed, or disappeared altogether.

Bad news is, it has knocked another site off second place google ranking, for anyone searching Bob Harrod missing. Never mind, perhaps searchers will make do with the WS link instead.

It makes no difference where people land imvho. As long as they are reading, they will be able to compare and contrast and determine what they think might be the truth.

Valid point.

For useful information purposes only though, I'd rather they came here.

Very cool! I hadn't seen it before. I do have to add it's nice to see it has almost bumped the useless FB page to page 2.

Thank you for all you have and are doing for Bob's case, zwie'. So nice to have fresh eyes and idea's for Bob's case. :blowkiss:

Placentia police department still haven't updated their flyer, by the way. If you go through their website, the contact name is still Det Corinne Loomis or Sergeant Scott Millsap.

What happens if people call and ask to speak to them? Do they still work Bob's case? Are they still with the department? Could a delay in sorting out who the caller really needs to speak to (Det Radomski) lead to vital info being lost? It would take a couple of minutes to update that information, yet it still hasn't been done.

I'd bet everyone in that department knows of Bob's case and who is assigned to the investigation. I'm sure Radomski has people working under him who he might assign to work various aspects of Bob's case and based on previous LE involvement with the media in this case, I'd venture to bet they will be seen on the Disappeared episode for Bob too.

It would be nice if they updated the flier, but fliers can also be obtained at NamUs too and I think the contact info there is correct.

I don't have any doubts if a tipster asked for the wrong contact, PPD would direct them to the correct person.

great work on the Bob site! I am so excited to see the date has finally been set for the coverage of his case by "disappeared"

Me too! And did you see Angelo's link above, that the episode can probably be viewed the day after it airs, by people like me who cannot view it on the night?

I'm so glad that was highlighted because I had searched the site, but I didn't see that.

Oh, I'm so slow sometimes! f/k/a means 'formerly known as'. I know who you are now! I really like your new avatar. Still don't want to meet one while I'm walking my mutt in the dark German woods though..........apparently, wolves are more scared of humans than we are of them.

I don't know about that, but I met a wild boar in the woods once, and it did not look a tiny bit scared to me. (Granted, I only caught a glimpse. I was running too fast in the opposite direction to see properly. And I was many yards behind my fleeing mutt, too.)

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. A lot of things, you just have to be able to shrug your shoulders and think "the truth will eventually come out."

Good job!

I hope whoever set up that page is keeping a log of IPs.

Grainne, Mr Z hangs out on forums where, if you get a thanks once in six months, it is a great topic of conversation. Despite me employing the stare of doom, he refused to believe that website would get any interest at all for, oh, a year or two.

No ip tracing on there I'm afraid, no sleuthing or outing. No ads, no solicitations for money, ever. Just a website for backup. Bob was disappeared once. He won't ever be disappeared again, if I can help it.

Well, he has my heartiest thanks. That website is so much better than the defunct FB page.

Too bad about the IP tracing. Since it has featured prominently in the way certain family members operate online, I thought it would be a good idea. Perhaps Mr Z can add that feature.

You never know when an IP log or even a cookie might become important evidence.

That facebook page has always really bothered me. I find fb a bit of a nightmare myself and so if my loved one went missing, I'd struggle to get one up and running myself, and wouldn't know the best way to use it.

But that fbp was set up on behalf of Bob's daughters, and handed over to them in good faith. And I cannot imagine they would have been short of offers of help if they had needed it. I am just astounded that resource has never been exploited properly and cannot imagine how it will appear to the many people who will look at it when Disappeared airs. They have full control over the info that goes on there too, so I would have thought that would be enough of a reason for them to want to use it, if for no other reason.

I wish they would improve and update it before the show airs because it will be better for Bob. What do you think the chances are?

Are you referring to another empty facebook page? Someone alerted me to another one popping up, but I havent had time to check it out. I just assumed that it was another means of gathering IP addresses, lol. In my humble opinion, I felt the first one (after it was turned over by Dreamweaver) was used solely for that purpose.

Is it something you set up? :blushing: My apologies for being skeptical of it....

BBM: WHAT????
There's IP tracing everywhere- whether it's paid for privately or not- it exists, lol!
