I guess we will see where this leads. What a week, between the hearing and the law enforcement activity!

LE processed Carnation Drive today. I was told several unmarked cars and a CSI van spent the morning there.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I am very thrilled to know that a CSI van was there this morning!
I hope it leads to evidence that can be used for an arrest and a conviction.

Because something happened in that house, something happened to Robert Harrod.

He isn't coming back. Good to know that his house may have left the answers needed.

Finally! No doubt - what a week!
Praying this leads to answers and justice for Bob!

Amen! The thanks button wasn't enough. As difficult as this is to process- that this may be confirmation whatever occured happened within Bobs home - Bob deserves justice. Fontelle deserves answers and closure.

You are right dreamweaver. Something happened in the house and Bob likely didnt come out alive. And he isnt coming back.

Seeing as how he didnt come out alive, and seeing as how it is unlikely that anyone spoke to him between 10 and 12, I would think the suspect pool is pretty small. I mean, let's face it...incoming calls could have been answered by anyone in the house. Who could speak, that is.

So I wonder now about the fence sitters-I wonder when you are posting on a crime board and discussing a no body case like this one, when do you decide that a combination of events like this week's and common sense get you off of the fence? Just curious.

It should be easy enough to prove the origin and timing of any of the evidence found-time will tell as to whether or not anything found could be tampered with. I mean Fontelle was in this home for quite a while...and believe me I am not saying she tampered with anything!

Another musing on my part-do you think the PI for the co conservators was told of this event?

Well, afterall he IS working hand-in-hand with PPD, correct?:waitasec:

Perhaps there will be justice for Mr. Harrod!

If they have found what we would expect that they have found, a whole house of cards could begin to fall down. If there was evidence that was missed during the cursory investigation that we believe the PPD conducted immediately after Bob's disappearance, but which was discovered through deeper techniques, I would have to wonder: who had the time and opportunity to clean up Bob's house (or, let's say, a murder area) in that small window of time? (And let's be completely clear here -- I am not suggesting the housekeeper!) IMO, the potential list of people shrinks even more.

Wow! This is great news. Justice for Bob!

The housekeeper showing up may have cut into cleaning time. What I typed sounds silly since housekeepers clean. But you know what I mean. I would love to know what the housekeeper saw that day.

Agree. Thank goodness the housekeeper showed up. If she had not, I have to wonder if SIL would have ever admitted to being at the house doing his "home repairs" the day Mr. Harrod vanished.

The only one I know for sure was the CSI unit-It was Orange County Sheriff's. They are AMAZING.

No matter where this leads, I want to thank all who are committed to this man for pushing so hard to get some closure for Fontelle.

Excellent news.

The wheels of justice are turning. Can you hear them?

I hear them! Well oiled and ready to roll! Glad to see the 'squeeking' was loud enough to see some movement on this case!

Continued prayers for answers and justice for Bob!

To me, it's not just the fact that there was a CSI team in there. I mean, that in itself is huge -- that is an exemplary crew. But one has to wonder: how was it decided that the time to conduct such an investigation was now, and no later? I have to think that if a blue-chip CSI team has been sent in for an extensive search, that there are also a bunch of heavyweights who have been looking at the facts, motives, and angles of Bob's case for some time. I salute them, and all of those folks who have worked Bob's case in mind, body, or spirit.

CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION - Specialists
The Identification Bureau provides crime scene investigation service for crimes against property and crimes against persons. Forensic specialists respond to traffic accidents, burglaries, vandalisms, as well as assaults, homicides, and officer-involved incidents. The Bureau is one of the few agencies accredited in crime scenes.

Services provided by this Bureau include documentation and collection of physical evidence, processing for fingerprints, photography, crime scene sketching, metal detector searches, and laboratory processing of evidence. Forensic specialists are also responsible for taking aerial photographs of major crime scenes and providing photographic services for autopsies.

Well, I was just reading here and had not logged in yet. Had to log in right now to say how very welcome this news is.

Seems like justice for Bob may be a bit closer now. We can only continue to hope and pray. Thank goodness for whoever/whatever caused the squeaking that brought about this development.

To put things more concretely, Opie, thank goodness for you, as you are and have been part of the squeak, along with all who have been part of this conversation that has kept alive the search for truth in Bob's case.

For a while, Bob has needed more friends like those posting and reading here. Let's all hope that he has found them.

I was thinking more about what might have led law enforcement to Carnation Drive yesterday (perhaps again?) Clearly it wasnt a tip regarding anyone, or anyplace, that led away from the house.

Seeing as how AH lives just down the street, and the neighborhood has a number of stay at home folks, I would think it is a given that someone would have called the girls...but I dont know how well received they are by the neighbors. The JM's lived there for a while, correct? I am going to assume at least one of them was told about the vehicles and the van. Unless one of them let the law enforcement officers in. I wonder.

Hope this leads them to the truth and Bob can finally have justice!!!
