Maybe the fee for "violent crime" on the breakdown is a subsidy for the portion of LE that makes arrests in drug cases? Like for a task force? Gitana? Anyone?

We posted at the same time. Thank you.

Not that it matters but I don't buy it. If her husband can't post anything why would she be able to? If they did this search 10 days after the accident doesn't the family know already? If not, why is this lady posting this now.

Not that I don't believe her but what are her intentions of posting that now?

Where can we find Caron's posts??

You can search by username and it will bring up the threads she's posted in. Around page 30 of Thread #3 are some, click on her username. From there, in her profile, click on statistics and you can choose all posts by Caron.

There was a post in the last thread that he could not have jumped off the dam as he would have rolled down. Good observation. I was thinking that he dumped something on the water side or had planned to jump but noted what you did and turned around and walked back. Perhaps the concept that he was going to drive into the water while still in the vehicle has some merit, but the rollover put and end to that and he did not have it in himself to just jump into the water, or by then had calmed down enough to walk away.

With all the latest information and my suspicions of the attempt to access the boat ramp area, this event has taken a whole different direction from when I first jumped in thinking it was a lost person SAR event or an abduction...

I hope he is found alive so he can get help and reunite with his family. And of course I am curious as to where we sleuthed correctly and where we did not.

Not only that but she posted with her full name and gave her husband's first name. Hello ??? :)

The link works for me with the Tapatalk app on an iPhone with the following on the top of the page:

"We could not determine what browser you are currently using.

I could see the list of fines and fees Cat posted.

I got a little nosey and clicked on her profile..and then her husband's. He definitely is a K-9 specialist or something of the sort. You can see his dogs on his profile as well as him talking about them being on tv show in one of his posts, where his dogs find a buried body. I felt a little bad checking him out, but with some of these "false sightings" or people possibly making stuff up, I thought I'd take a peek. They also live in that area. Seems legit to me ;)

Thanks for that! So, there it is.

Yeah, that's what it would be for. They are making him pay towards various branches of LE. It's pretty standard stuff although I find the total he was to pay very high for the crime.

Maybe IL was having a crackdown on drug crimes? It does seem very high...wonder if there other circumstances, or would they be detailed?

In my opinion, I believe that the family did receive the information that the dog followed Bryce's scent back up to, or near, the road and that is why they stopped searching in the Castaic area. I can't speak to her intentions but I think she was informing the family that if they get a viable reported sighting they should have the dogs go out and confirm if Bryce had been in that area recently.

Well I think it's great that ONE set of dogs traced the scent to both places. I wonder why it kept getting reported that one set followed the scent to the lake and the other followed the scent out of the park. Now we hear that the same dogs followed the scent to both places. That takes away a lot of confusion for me and it explains why LE abandoned the lake after a few searches.

They're asking me to log in but I don't have FB.
Isn't this a public FB since it's about a missing person?

I think you have to have Fb to read a page, even a public one?
You should maybe make a generic account with no info on it, just to have access, lol. I have one like that.

OT-ish, but I have worked at several hotels, with breakfast included for guests, and it was very unlikely that anyone without a room key would be able to get in to eat. And if they had let someone in, they would remember. We always had a person whose job it was to just do that, make sure everyone was actually staying there.

Thanks. No, I can usually see the missing FB pages that are particularly set up to cover a missing person cause. For instance, I can see the FB page for Nick Steward; but not his personal FB.
