i just thought of a logical explanation why paul's cellphone pinged off the deer springs tower. More than likely it has already been brought up, but i've been drawing up plans the last couple of days and haven't been able to play catch up.
Due to the long day they had, lack of food, the long drive there, fatigue, losing 50 bucks, etc.........paul and dianne opted not to go to their sons house, but decided instead to head home. They decided to head over to i-15 and take the fast way to get to fullerton. Somewhere along the way, a shortcut was taken and they ended up nose-down or wheels up at the bottom of a ravine or a gorge.
The most disturbing thing about this case to me, probably no less than 200 cars have driven by their current location without even realizing it. Of course, if they headed off on some dirt road cut-through, that may not actually be the case, but i'm assuming they were on pavement, which of course may be the completely wrong assumption.
As far as the gift shop visit goes, that may very well be the information their son talked about a couple of days back, but was asked to keep it "private" by le. The reason for that was probably due to the fact that the cops can't validate the sighting and have no proof that it was actually them. I take it there was no video camera at the gift shop. That information was bound to come out sooner or later as the family's desperation continues to grow by the day.
Glad to see you hopped on board myekah, a local's perspective and input may prove to be invaluable in this case.
