Okay, just for shock value I have got to see this. I really can't believe that he will be on there.

OK, if LKL takes calls and you got through, what would you ask?

Me too....I can't believe he would even show his face in public. What can he possibly have to offer?? I'm quite anxious to hear what he has to say for himself. Will he explain his dishonest statements? Will he maintain that he killed JonBenet'?

When I heard this last night I just started laughing, I was so shocked. I can't believe he is actually going to be on. I guess now he'll start milking his 15 minutes on all the shows.
He needs to crawl back under his rock and thank his lucky stars he's free.

I can't beleive LKL would give him anymore fame then he has already got. Karr is a sicko & is probably capable of doing many things yet to keep his ugly azz in the spotlight. JMHO

I would ask if he is getting some help for his mental illness. IMO, this man is more sick than evil....I think Michael Tracey preyed upon this sickness, and coaxed him down a road that led to a false confession, imo.

It never stops amazing me how Larry King can get just about anyone on his show. Say what you will about his interview skills, he always manages to get the guests that we want to see.

IMO

Apparently he is not the least bit shy about fame. He was on the Today Show this morning, and will be on there tomorrow, too (excerpts from interview with Dr. Keith Ablow), and the entire interview can be seen on Keith Ablow's TV show on Tuesday morning (I think on the regular Fox channel). The sicko considers himself perfectly okay to be around, teach, and take care of children. He does, however, consider himself to be a victim because, poor thing, while walking in Central Park recently, some people recognized him and had the nerve to say ugly things to him and to make ugly faces. Can you even imagine!

In her blog today, Greta talks about this interview and how and why it came about.

ON THE RECORD W/ GRETA John Mark Karr Calling

"Under the headline "never dull": On Friday night about 9 p.m. ET, I was in the FOX D.C. bureau's green room getting ready for our live show (just an hour away) when I received a call that John Mark Karr and his lawyer wanted to talk to me... and talk to me immediately! ..."

"They were calling me because, per the lawyer, they wanted to do an interview, wanted to do it with me and wanted to do it right then. They could not wait. They were not calling to do it Saturday, Sunday or Monday — but rather right then! Yes, this was odd — I have been in this business more than 15 years and this was a first. But, this business seems like a collection of firsts."

"I don't know if we will air the complete interview or not. Some of the interview is repetitive — some just plain odd. I also don't know when we will air it in the show tonight. I need to talk to my producers today, but this was one of those interviews where I walked off the set and thought to myself: What was that? Why did John Mark Karr show up for this? Why did he and his lawyer call me and want to do an interview? If you tune in tonight you will understand why I asked myself those questions."

much more...

Oh dear what a shame.......... he put himself in that position, to be recognised by as many people as possible........... he's not kidding anyone at all, we know he's loving all this attention! :bang:

He did an interview with Greta that should be aired tonight, too. Interesting how that came about:

CNN wants your questions for JMK:

hmmm, wasn't planning on watching Greta, but i think i will tonight...will be interesting to watch, knowing beforehand, what was going through her mind, while interviewing him.....i do a 'hit or miss' with both Greta & Nancy Grace, as a rule.....

Catherine Crier did a segment today on John Mark Karr and his appearance on Ablow's show tomorrow. Apparently, Crier will also be on the show, although she did not participate in the actual interview with Karr.
Anyhow, she had on the phone, a guy named Christopher Reggie, an entertainment lawyer who is now representing Karr in a bid to get Ablow and Telepictures not to air the program.

As usual, the lawyers are coming out of the woodwork but this one was mentioned in a San Jose Mercury News article shortly after Karr was released from Sonoma County.

Ex-JonBenet figure aims to clear image

"Christopher Reggie, a San Francisco entertainment lawyer said he had met with Karr while he was being held in a Sonoma County jail to advise him on media issues.
"He is committed to clarifying the image the media has of him and getting his own story, the real story out there," said Reggie, who counts former American Idol star LaToya London among his clients.
Asked if Karr intends to sell his story to a media outlet, Reggie laughed, "Is it a situation where he's going to have to go out and solicit?"
"

Now, the rub that seems to be continually arising these days when it comes to the blurring of legitimate news shows (if there are any) and entertainment shows. Crier works for CourtTV which is owned by Time/Warner. Ablow show is owned by Telepictures which is owned by Time/Warner. Larry King and CNN is owned by Time/Warner.

Christopher Reggie is now officially representing Karr after Karr expressed disfavor with the Ablow show. It is Reggie who called Greta and insisted upon an interview. Greta of course is owned by Rupert Murdoch and his NewsCorp., which owns Fox and The NYPost, which is the tabloid paper that claimed Karr was given abundant amounts of alcohol before the 'run-through' of the interview.

Okay, I suggest that you catch the rerun of Crier and watch Larry King and Greta tonight. And, tomorrow, watch Ablow. Hopefully, after that, it will all be over. Karr can fade into obscurity and all these folks can move on to new topics as orchestrated by the lawyers and executives of the Time/Warner, Fox, and Newsweek/MSNBC conglomerates. Of course, its only until Michael Tracey and his investigators for the Boulder DA's office put out their new "documentary" in time for the 10th anniversary of the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.

Not going to watch any illadvised coverage of this PERVERT.

Not going to watch any of the shows that I hear gave him any airtime for the next 30 days, with no exception.

Don't need to encourage any future celebrity seeking pedaphiles, IMO.

I'm not going to watch Greta either tonight. I heard her earlier today and she said he was like grilling a reluctant witness in court.

He and his attorney called her last Friday wanting an immediate interview and she couldn't do it. Turns out he wanted to go on the air before he slapped Dr Ablow with a suit for getting him drunk before he did that interview that will be aired.

Says he was taken advantage of and wanted to stop the airing of it on GMA. But he told Greta that is all he wanted to discuss, and wouldn't talk about anything concerning JonBenet or Thailand.

Greta agreed that Mary in Boulder and the Prosecutor in Ca spent a great deal of taxpayer money for nothing. Mary should have done a bit of investigating first, Greta said, before she retreived Karr from Thailand, as she would have soon found out he was not at all involved with JB's murder. And in Ca with them losing the evidence, she said it was pathetic what happened there!

Hi i.b.nora,

Your statement " . . .Of course, its only until Michael Tracey and his investigators for the Boulder DA's office put out their new "documentary" in time for the 10th anniversary of the murder of JonBenet Ramsey."

would be I hope, to recoup some of the money they spent bringing this guy all the way from Thailand plus housing him for so many weeks, right?

 What is the point of this interview, other than to denounce the Ablow interview? He is a very smart man and well-spoken but he can't/won't answer questions that have anything to do with any of his arrests. Does he still want to be the killer of JonBenet? Is he mentally ill? (Duh, but has he been diagnosed with anything?)

JMK is just one big walking contradiction. I'm worn out trying to make sense of what he's trying to accomplish.
