Still no sketch even though police claimed they were working on one.
This is a very strange case.
 
Did none of the adults shot get even a glimpse of the shooter? WTH is going on here? It's all very well offering a $25k reward, but people need to know who they are looking for.

Meanwhile, there's a baby abductor, killer on the loose in SoCal. Great.

I am not sure if mother or uncle are able to talk. They were shot in the face.
Father is obviously able to talk, and police were claiming they were working on a sketch. But that was nearly a week ago and still not sketch.
 
I think the police are probably playing a game, waiting for somebody they know to trip up.
 
This is about Eliza, a newborn baby, losing her life over something. But what?

Praying LE has some info from the family and are just waiting for some tips to ensure an arrest will stick. I do keep getting the feeling that people are keeping their mouths shut out of fear. We'll see, or not see, but I'm waiting on that police sketch promised soon. Please don't let this case go cold!

ITA! I have searched this morning for any updates on a sketch and nothing. I also cannot find the $25K reward poster they are handed out at the vigil and up in Long Beach. IMO that poster should also be circulated in IB.
 
I can't believe this story has died away this quickly. Has anyone seen any information on the family at all?

Don't see any updates on the case today. The memorial flowers and candles are all gone from where they found Eliza.:sigh:

that's pretty unusual isn't it ??? ....... something is very ''off''' with this case

This theory will sound crazy, and I'm not even saying it is what I believe to be true. It's just a spring-board for maybe some other theories to jump from.

Last night I was up almost all night with illness, and even though there are so many cases I follow on WS, I could not get this one out of my head. In my half awake/half asleep state I started to develop a whacked-out theory about ransom. And about LE/Media throwing everyone off by saying Eliza was found deceased, but really wasn't. In my fever-induced mind, I reasoned that since the initial reports about who found her (a woman vs. a man) conflicted, maybe it was totally false, and it was done to stop the public from looking for her so they could continue to negotiate with kidnappers. Like, they never really wanted her kidnapping to be released in the first place. A cause of death hasn't been released. Has a funeral happened?

So of course, I then started to imagine a scenario where a kidnapping would have occurred where so many people would have been shot. The only theory I can come up with is what I would do...panic, lunge for my baby, and get myself shot. And then be petrified to talk about it because all I could think about was to keep my baby alive.
 
The memorial could have been ruined by the rain yesterday and through the night. Perhaps someone thought a ruined memorial was worse than no memorial, kwim?
 
Everyday I have a new theory, or thought, but most I can pick holes in because not much is making sense in this case yet.

The person took the baby out of the local area immediately. That's what I believe, at least for today. They would do that because they couldn't chance being recognized with a baby in their own location or home. Or ???
JMO, I think it must be someone very personally connected to one of the family members.
I agree, LE sure is handling this case in a strange way so far.

There has to be some reason why there isn't even a better description or a police sketch on the person who did this. I'd also like some updates on how the mother and uncle who were shot in the face are doing.

What if this person escaped across the border? I don't want to believe LE is just letting this case go cold. I don't think that yet.
 
Other than comments, is there anything in MSM that indicates other adults living in the home?
