I don't know katy, I just said it sounded like that was where the defense is going. As for whether he stayed the night, people do it all the time. Or maybe he didn't and he was playing cards all night? Either way, there are some huge time gaps (or should we call them "off grid" times?) in there that the prosecution has been saying is so out of the norm for him, it doesn't look like that is the case at all. And those are just a small snip of time during 2009/10 that they used.

Has anyone found someone else that will be tweeting today? this week? If it's longer than a week... it will be a shame, can't follow the evidence when we can't see it. Of course it's not a week where they are only in session for a day and half lol

I disagree too. They are saying when some other trial is over they will go back. I guess they think this other trial will last only a week or two. I don't believe a word they say..

Anyone notice how Chase's phone didn't ping from the towers closest to the Starbucks/Chick-fil-A restaurants that lunch time on the 4th?

Joey's phone pinged at the tower closest to Chase's residence at 12.52 pm, and then had moved to the tower closest to the Chick-fil-A by 1.01 pm. Chase's phone didn't move from the two towers closest to his home residence all day, yet there were other towers right next to Starbucks. They spoke on the phone at 1.01 pm so Chase had to have had his phone on to answer that call. Also Chase was calling Cathy literally non-stop between 12.52 and 1.00 pm so his phone was on and it seems unlikely to me that he was driving, parking and ordering Starbucks etc at the same time with his phone not even pinging next to Starbucks.


From his interview:

Yeah. Cos he he, he called me and said um ‘what do you want to eat?’ ‘n I said I like Chick-fil-A and just like that he told me where the Starbucks was told him where it was and I, I got there, I went over and got a Starbucks coffee and then went to Chick-fil-A. Ten minutes later, he, Joseph got there. Mike, there’s there’s no way Michael or Mikey had lunch with Joseph on I know that it was the 4th it was Thursday.

Q: Did he usually meet you at Chick-fil-A or did he usually come to your house or here?

A: We met out at Chick-fil-A, my house, um, where, sometimes we met halfway, you know we’d…

So he first says he told Joey where it was but it makes no sense to then say they would sometimes meet there.

Yeah, no…he, I’m almost positive now I’m, I’m trying to remember I was trying to remember earlier when I wrote that down, I’m almost positive that he paid for Chick-fil-A with his credit card or ATM or whatever so you’ll probably be able to look that up.

Q: During the opportunity you had to review the particular bank records, did you look at transactions that occurred on or around Feb 4th 2010 from Joseph McStay’s account and the defendant’s account?
A: Yes.
Q: Did you notice any transactions for a chick-fil-a restaurant?
A: No I did not see any.
Q: And when you had that opportunity to review both accounts did it appear that they both used their debit cards or made purchases from restaurants and things like that?
A: Yes.

I don't think the investigators believe they met for lunch.

Yes, we are going to miss some of the most critical testimony of the entire trial, and no one (but us) seems to care.

He did this quite a bit during the police interview!
He said Joseph would NEVER take the kids to Mexico, then next breath says, well maybe to the little square in Tiajuana, but that’s it.
He said he DOES NOT drink, then says, well maybe a half a beer if it is super cold.

The Craigslist add was put out by a woman who thought she knew who was driving the Trooper through the desert with child seats in order to show some proof of life for the family after the disappearance. This person was acquainted to her through a family member IIRC. All of it was of course bogus and a misinterpretation of actual events.

The ones my cousin's husband has entered, they didn't make the players turn their phones off, because they know the players could receive an emergency call from home at any given unexpected time. Etc.

What they DO though if someone receives a call they need to answer, the player must leave all of their cards on the poker table in plain sight of the dealer, and must step a few feet away from the table, when talking on the phone.

It's the same procedure if a player is just playing at any card tables no matter what card game they are playing.

Most put their phone on vibrate. That way they can know if it's an emergency call they need to answer right then or one where they know they can call back later.

If it's one that cant wait the player advises the dealer, and they will put a marker at that seat holding it until they have completed their call.

Neither do I, but Florida trials usually only takes a week or two weeks to finish especially since that case isn't a death penalty case.

I don't know why they are pulling up stakes, and going to Florida though.

Many Florida cases already have cameras in the courtroom set up by one of the large news site in the state.

Lol...maybe they are trying to put a bug in the ear of these CA attorneys, trying to push them into speeding it up some instead of going as slow as a turtle in reverse. Lol!

It is very suspicious to me too.

He seems to purposefully want to give himself some wiggle room. Like you said, it either is or its not.

I imagine he has used other evasive terminology to answer something during all of his adult life he has spent conning others.

It's like he likes to be slippery as an eel, and impossible to pin down. LOL!

I'm still in disbelief here that they can just decide to pull out of a commitment to livestream a trial, presumably after competing for the rights. I think I'm gonna have to make a doll of whatsisname at L&C to stick pins in. I hope it comes back to bite them and they lose all their viewers! and any other bids they make in the future based on their UNRELIABILITY and DISLOYALTY!

For goodness sake I can't believe there aren't even any reporters there.
