Interesting wikipedia has the group declining and disappearing in 2015. She would have been 9-10 at that time. Definitely not her hoodie (wouldn't still fit), appears like all the merch is out of production by Sony. Also, the other hoodie was Lana Del Rey, typically not as popular with her age and didn't see any on the Spotify account posted earlier.

Only thing I see important is they were probably someones else's.

The wording is slightly ambiguous. Using may have gone rather than after she left the party. The may have gone statement to me reads as going to a different location rather than the journey home.

i read it as they arent sure either way.

LE said specifically there was video of her wearing the white & pink hoodie “earlier in the evening” when they first posted the picture of it on Twitter. Then they followed up by stating that they think the fact that she was wearing it may help determine where she went AFTER the party which makes it sound like they think she was wearing towards the end too. Sure sounds like she was wearing it all night, which is interesting.

Have they searched that water the campground is on? It looks like the road literally goes straight off the end into the water if you drive the wrong direction. A driver could fly off the road into the water within 2 minutes of leaving the campsite.

Extensive searching...dive teams brought in from Alameda (verified as "mutual aid" by LE; PCSO). Check out the Placer Co. Sheriff twitter page... The search teams have looked for where brush is damaged, and they're searching shore lines. They're using helicopters to search visually, and drones to search water (only 27 feet deep) because it's muddy. They're working to rule out the most likely accident scenarios while other information becomes available and gets vetted. It's time consuming.

Perhaps...but kids like second hand stores, and one of my teens was into music at a young age. I don't think we can assume too much either way about the hoodies. If the "Odd Future" one does belong to Kiely, she may have simply thought the phrase was cool.

What is particularly interesting to me is that neither of her close friends, who rode out with her and especially SS who made a pointed claim that they were side by side tromping around together for 2 hours, neither have ever verified or stated that she wore a hoody.
It does get to a point IMO where this saga goes beyond being afraid of sharing info and begins sounding like a confabulated cover up.

Heck, I barely remember what I wore yesterday, let alone friends so that alone doesn't strike me as odd.

That being said, the only way this seems odd to me is the fact that we know teens (I know mine are) are GLUED to their phones and post their lives on social media. So, they would see pics and then remember (or be reminded of) what somebody wore IF asked.

I grew up in rural, dark areas (before cell phones lol) and you just know the roads if you've driven them enough. I knew every curve like the back of my hand. Can't think of the phrase now but it's like your body/car goes into auto pilot around home so it's second nature.
Something I'm always trying to instill in my young drivers is watching out for wildlife as well because they can come out of nowhere.

Kind of like muscle memory? This is what I picture in regards to plugging in her phone,if it's something you do naturally everytime it's probably possible that you would still do it if you were intoxicated,like putting on your seat belt.

I was very much like Kiely on paper, I graduated early at 16, with honors, and never got in any sort of trouble…..it wasn’t for lack of doing incredibly stupid, dangerous & illegal things looking back, I just never got caught.
