Interesting to hear the sister saying that she was playing music in the car on her phone, and hadn't turned it off when they went in. That makes some sense, so maybe MG wasn't being called. Although I think we have to be a little skeptical of anything coming from the family at this point.

They received an anonymous tip today which has led to great information about Maricela's past and her recent activity. It's been turned over to the police and they will update the public on Monday
They believe she is in danger or being held against her will

I noticed that last night. I think it was the press release that said the suspicious but that is what Detective Palmer told me when I asked why they were saying she was a voluntary missing

I just watched the two GW videos. Thanks for posting them.

On the exit video she doesn't walk down the building wall like the SAR dog but heads across the walkway towards the parking lot. Don't know what that means. Not sure about her gait.

On the shots in the store It seemed to me that she was just hanging out, not shopping or looking for something specific. I would have been pulling clothing off the racks if I was looking for something. I shop at my local Salvation Army and you almost need to sort through their clothing racks garment by garment to see what's there. Maybe this GW is different. Maybe the video was edited. IDK.

To anyone who ever reads this posting.... Not directed at any single person. Just taking advantage of an opportunity to debunk a fake site. Someone needs to write a snopes on snopes. A quick Google search returns LE sites that I trust far beyond anything a team of biased and manipulative people put out to serve their own agenda. Don't believe anything read on snopes. I don't think she knew she needed to remember every detail at the time she was doing things, and some things are "coming back to her". Also, they are all now purposefully withholding info, and we aren't present for the process when she recalls something. I don't think she's "lying".

If it wasn't for Mistivon I would've passed Maricela's disappearance by but I've followed and these are my tired thoughts.
Her parents must be embarrassed and/or ashamed by Maricela's choices and feel extra protective of Sara. There's probably other issues they'd rather not draw attention to so being secretive makes sense. They deserve privacy and are dealing with more than we can know.
However, letting people think Maricela didn't know the area is mind boggling and it could easily look like they're hiding something. It's not that she knew the area but that her family left incorrect info that changes things.
I think Maricela was there for drugs. Maybe Sara knew since they shared a bed and she's not a child. Maybe she went to shop. They enter GW. Maricela goes out to meet someone. Something about the path of the scent dog feels like she walked with someone before she went in the church where she waited, got impatient and/or spooked. When whoever texted they were back, she stormed out. This is as far as I get since all I know is Maricela's family has to be terribly worried and want her home and safe.
It's interesting that someone's taking down flyers. It seems someone would notice. I hope I would.

I have to pass through a pretty rough and downtrodden area to get to my home..... every single day. But I stay on the main road. I do not venture through sides roads except for one (main) section. I just don't. It's not more than 5 miles from my house, down the main drag, so I feel this could be similar.

I was referring to the part of the video just posted where the sister is narrating. She is pretty explicit in saying that MG was turning music off and not her phone, and that nobody was calling MG. She also says people who think otherwise are "such idiots." But now it looks like the phone playing music was part of a fake narrative made up to obfuscate what really happened that night for some reason.

Unfortunately, the posts where Misti first indicated the family was not being truthful and we all reacted were deleted. I believe it was inadvertant (this was right before the board was closed for maintenance). But obviously it changes everything since we were mostly operating based on facts from the family. And questioning the police's lack of motivation to take this seriously based on facts from the family...
