I hope LE is putting heavy pressure on the daughter and her friends, the unsavory characters. Time is of the essence. It's crucial to find Mehria now if she's out there alive and needing help. Her loved ones really love and respect her. I commend them for being so honest on the news.

Really don't like the things I've been hearing from her family and neighbors though! They've had to discuss things that cause them suspicions and concerns. I think they're all pointing at who they think LE should pressure for further answers.

Haven't heard any body describe Mehria as unpredictable or wandering off before.
Did she wear her glasses daily to see far? If so, it really makes me nervous that she didn't take her glasses.

SAN DIEGO— The daughter of a missing 79-year-old Serra Mesa woman said Saturday that she has no idea what has happened to her mother, but she’s worried.

“It doesn’t look good,” Gazelle Mansury, 42, said in a telephone interview. “I’m praying.”

In general, it's a good idea to check on your elderly parents often, especially if they've showed signs of some dementia in the past which the daughter is now mentioning.

A good tip is needed asap. I hope someone comes forward.

Mehria either headed away from home with no provisions headed for the rugged canyons and trails instead of taking a stroll on populated streets...

Or...somebody drove her away.

She wasn't reported missing soon enough to determine how she disappeared. A tip would help so much.
 
BBM No need to read much between the lines. Her family is making it plain, IMO, that many of them have their suspicions.

I know the daughter had a boyfriend and friends hanging around. The neighbor even mentioned some unsavory characters.

It's a good thing her family and neighbors have been so vocal. They really have come together in their love for Mehria.

Where's the daughter though? I haven't seen her with the group in interviews or search gatherings. Has she been taking part?

I am praying for you Mehria..someone will find you soon.It breaks your heart when anyone is missing but a child/older person just makes you feel desperate for them,because they need someone to help care for them.
 
Is her car missing too, or just the woman? I thought it was said that she went for a walk and then I thought one article mentioned something about her car. I'm confused.

I read only that she was missing, not her vehicle. I think that's why they are searching the area around her home. I'm scared that daughter or one of her friends has something to do with her disappearance :(
 
Prayers for Mehria, I hope she is found alive and well soon.

She looks like such a sweet lady (and I love the spelling of her name, so pretty). I think that Mehria was trying to help her daughter out by giving her somewhere to stay... I really hope she wasn't taken advantage of in any way... Not necessarily by her daughter, but possibly one of the shady friends that often hung around?

Very glad that the family are being quite vocal on this one. They will surely make sure that this stays in the eye of the media until Mehria is found.
 
They've basically said it's her. All the news stations are talking about it.

KGTV (channel 10) is promo-ing "What her daughter said while she was being led away by investigators" (but haven't heard what that is yet)
