Right! And daughter has been questioned several times, bf questioned once. That's what was reported anyway. Would daughter turned on others for the reward?
 
Channel 8 (KFMB) live saying that Gazelle and her boyfriend Lucheo (sp?) Moreno were arrested now in connection with Mehria's murder.

Gazelle it's for her murder. Lucheo it's in connection with and with extensive questioning to come as to his role in it.
 
Saying both have been arrested multiple times before because of drug charges.

Said there was the $6000 tip and that a tip was involved and they're not sure who it was from (I'm assuming that's just channel 8's Phil Blauer, not LE)

Everyone else is still talking about the incident in DC today since some local reps were there as it happened. Oh, and of course about potential charges on our lovely now out of office in disgrace Mayor Filner...

Guessing channel 10, especially, should have something soon, but it seems like Phil Blauer (KFMB) was there as the arrest happened today and so he was the one on scene.
 
They're saying on KNSD (7) that it may be another day or two before the body is ID'd b/c they'll have to do DNA testing b/c of the decomposition.

They're talking about how hard the waiting will be on her family (but also that they - family - seem to really think it's her).

Reiterating it was found due to a tip. Was facedown under a tree (I think I said that in another update last night). Also saying the questioning last night was b/c of investigation NOT b/c of the find of the body.

They're not saying anything about the arrest of her and the boyfriend at all...weird. They're only talking about the questioning of them last week.

VERY weird they didn't say arrest.
 
KGTV (10) is saying that they confirmed the body was killed by murder. Autopsy was completed confirming homicide, but ID will need DNA for 100%.

They are saying that Gazelle and the boyfriend (who lived in the garage with her) WERE arrested today - same as KFMB.

Not sure why KNSD is reporting they're not even in for questioning again still.

Last thing neighbor heard was "I'm not going to pay for it" and Mehria hasn't been seen since that confrontation with daughter.

Meth arrests before in the past is one thing I caught.

I can just imagine the stories and ways they were taking Mehria's money and peace of mind.

I bet the rest of the Family and the Neighbors all hoped Mehria would kick her daughter out for good. They probably will all beat themselves up for not being able to stop it.

But this was her only daughter and Mehria looks like a very kind-hearted person. BBM
 
LE must've found evidence last night.

Last night while daughter was being "just questioned", the house was being combed.
Then, today, the daughter and boyfriend are arrested at a house in City Heights.
Comb that house too! They probably have a receipt from the casino or something.
Why'd they think to leave Mehria's body under a tree on the Barona Indian Reservation?

"Hours after she left the home, police investigators combed through the missing woman's home. They searched in the garage where the daughter reportedly stayed and even searched in the trash cans in front of the home."

KFMB still holding fast that they ARE under arrest (and they clearly were seen doing so on camera...so not sure why KNSD says they are being told otherwise)

Just one day after police discovered a body on the Barona Indian Reservation, they have arrested 79-year-old Mehria Mansury's daughter and her boyfriend.

Personally I don't trust SD6 or KUSI really unless there's no other info out there, but I did look just out of curiosity.

KUSI still a day behind, as they typically are with...everything. Only saying the body was found.

SD6 is also saying arrest, but saying the SDPD won't comment/confirm/deny about if that's happened despite video of it. They said:

And I protest the UT site since they make you have a subscription if you read more than like 6 things. EVER. But they've not updated since 11 something am (the arrests happened after that) and they're just saying the family is waiting to hear about the body.
 
FINALLY KNSD is with the program...at least saying one of the two is arrested.

(If only one is truly under arrest at the moment, I'm quite sure it's the daughter, but it sounded like on KFMB that they didn't have as much info on the BF from the get go and that they are trying to figure out his exact degree of involvement. It sounded like they are pretty sure he's involved heavily, but whether he actually committed the murder also seems to be the question).

And FYI, Gazelle seems to use both spellings of her name - it mostly seems like they're using the Angelized 'Gazelle' but of course KNSD is using the other making me look silly :)
An arrest has been made in the case of a Serra Mesa woman who has been missing since last week, sources confirmed to NBC 7 San Diego.

On Thursday evening, San Diego Police Department investigators took Ghazal Mansury, 42, and her boyfriend, Lucio Moreno, to police headquarters for questioning.

By 7:30 p.m., a law enforcement source close to the investigation confirmed that one of them had been arrested in connection with the case. The source could not say whether Ghazal or Moreno had been taken into custody, but did say that information is forthcoming.

Gazelle was arrested 40 minutes before they took her BF in.

They are showing (on Channel 10) the paperwork showing she's arrested, but ARE confirming they're not showing her (or BF) on the SD inmate list online yet.

It sounds like that's b/c they aren't listing charges yet. On the booking papers they also have it blank where the charges should be.
 
KFMB is saying BF is only detained.

Oddly, they're blocking out the face of the cop handcuffing Gazelle on KFMB. I'm curious about that.
 
KGTV says Gazelle is booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility and that there will be nothing else from LE until tomorrow.

Mixed details on the BF, Lucio.

He's apparently out of cuffs (per KFMB) and pacing outside the PD when everything's gone down with Gazelle. And they still seem unclear on if he'll be booked as well (guessing nothing else will happen till they give a 100% confirmation it's Mehria tomorrow and investigators get additional info back).
