Because she switched reservations? Give me a break!!

No, it was much much more than that. But the reservation thing was like this:

Jason had been a chef at this restaurant for awhile, but he felt he was getting no approval or feedback from anyone in his family, for doing such a good job. Jason craved attention and approval, but got very little from OJ or Nicole.

That day was a big family event, and JasoN went to a lot of trouble preparing for the entire family to come and celebrate in HIS restaurant. And he told everyone at work that his family was coming that night. So he prepared a special feast for everyone. But then he was ignored, and only found out at the last minute, that Nicole switched restaurants, and never even told him. So he was embarrassed at his restaurant and was very angry. There are rumors that he walked out of work very angry and early from his shift. And his time card was not electronically punched out. he only had a note from his boss, saying he was still at work that night during the murders, although some say he had already left, angry.

So not only did Nicole diss his restauarant, and him as a chef, by changing that reservation. She also had the family celebration that night, without him being included.

Oh , and on top of the fact that Nicole didn't show up at Jason's rest.(without calling-she simply never went there) he was carrying a bag of razor sharp chef's knives when he left the place. He is a hair trigger violent type way more than OJ.It's not as simple as "because she switched reservations" .

BBM. So did F.Lee Bailey, I have that on good authority...

Yes, and so did Robert Shapiro and Bob Kardashian. Everyone on the "Dream Team" knew, but they couldn't resist the draw of celebrity. And in Cochran's case, well, we know why he got involved. And I'm not saying he was wrong to get involved, I'm just saying the race card was "dealt from the bottom of the deck," that's all. I feel the same way about Chris Darden being involved. I also think the prosecution brought Darden in because he investigated AC.

Anyone here read, "The Prosecution Responds" by Hank Goldberg? Very informative and technical book. It explains the evidence against OJ in a very detailed oriented way.

JMO, IMO, :moo:, and all other disclaimers.

According to the book, the motive for Jason killing nicole was that she and her family said they would dine at the restaurant he was head-chefing, but she stood him up and went to Mezzaluna instead. This was a blow to his pride.

The sources for this are all included in the book.

And his alibi was not ironclad. He was the only employee without a time card punched electronically. His was a note from his boss. That seems hinky, imo.

katydid23, I am not going to keep debating this with you. It's obvious we will NEVER agree on this case or any other.

Peace out.

I find that the DNA testing today is superior to the testing back in 95. I don't believe that the testing back then was as accurate as it is today. The results can show that a family member may be responsible for the crime. So unless they retest the results who's knows. Dr. Lee felt it could have been a family member. Did Dr. Lee know something we didn't?

I watched the trial, read the books, etc, etc, thought OJ probably did it -again, because who else would have a motive? The William Dear book and his theory about what happened make more sense to me than OJ becoming a murderer all of a sudden. If nobody else has read this book, we can't really discuss it.

We will never agree on any other case either? lol Really? This is the first time I remember being in disagreement. What am I missing?

One of the key points in the Dear book is that to this day Jason Simpson's DNA has never been compared to any evidence from the case! Not his fingerprints, hair or footprints either.

Not taking the bait, sorry.

Sorry, and I am not trying to bait you. I am just wondering why you would say that we will never ever agree on any case. I do not remember ever being in any disagreements until now, so I am wondering what I am missing? I am just confused about your statement, that's all.

Can we say though that his becoming a murderer was "all of a sudden", given his past history of domestic violence with Nicole?

He didn't become a murderer all of the sudden, that's for sure. It was coming, and when he lost Nicole, he decided to use the ultimate form of control, murder.

The objective is money , no way are we going to buy or believed this outrages lie. May have been born yesterday but have been uptown all day .Write a ture story not lies.

Jason Simpson also has a history of violence against women including slashing with a sharp knife. He was/is far far more unstable than OJ.

A child of O.J.'s has anger problems:what:? We don't know who's the most unstable of the two, but they both have serious issues. I think it is somewhat unfair to Jason to accuse him of something so heinous without any real proof. Does he have problems? Yes, you would also if O.J. was your father.

It must be hard for Sidney and Justin to have to live with the fact most people think their father got away with murdering their mother. To start rumors about their big brother being involved, without any real evidence, to just make a buck is sad. I always wonder if people who write these books think of the pain it may cause to the surviving family members.

I think O.J. Simpson and only O.J. knows what happened that night. Hopefully, Jason is getting help for his problems and these empty accusations don't make them worse. His children are victims of this tragedy, too.

Does Jason Simpson have a history of domestic violence with Nicole Brown?

Was Jason Simpson's vehicle seen in the vicinity of the Bundy residence that night?

Did Jason Simpson wear Bruno Magli shoes of a certain size and type and leave a bloody footprint at Nicole's residence?

I'm purposely leaving out the blood/DNA evidence, as I don't feel up to arguing it ATM. But I could go on on with just the circumstantial evidence pointing to OJ over Jason. It isn't necessary to, though. We know who had a history of violence with THIS WOMAN. We know whose vehicle was seen in the neighborhood. We know who supposedly "overslept" and didnt ansew his phone/callbox when the driver came to pick him up. We know who wrote a quasi suicidal note and went on a ridiculous low speed getaway when arrest time came near. It wasn't Jason.

As Nicole said in one of the 911 calls, "it's OJ Simpson. I think you know his record."

If Jason Simpson was a suspect, why was he not investigated back than? Interesting to think OJ Simpson would cover for his own son. I remember hearing Kato Kaelin as a possible suspect as well.

I saw crime scene photos in that book. Whoever killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman was really angry. I mean REALLY angry. There is blood everywhere.

The more I think about this, I think the 1995 trial should of been a mistrial. I heard Judge Lance Ito fell asleep during the trial. Mistrial right there.

This theory does not explain the Bruno Magli shoes evidence, nor the cuts on OJ's hands. Just because the knife was found in the son's locker doesn't mean OJ didn't put it there or give it to his son. I'm not believing it!:snooty::snooty::snooty:

Suggest you might watch the documentary on this that was released a few years ago, it would help fill in many of the questions you have..
