SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — The former firefighter accused of murdering his girlfriend has been caught, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department confirms.
Orville “Mo” Fleming, 55, has been on the run since May 1. Authorities have accused Fleming of brutally murdering his 26-year-old girlfriend Sarah Jane Douglas.
Authorities say that Fleming has been found alive and is currently in the sheriff’s department’s custody.

I'm hearing from a source that Orville Fleming was found not far from where he abandoned his Cal Fire truck in an Elk Grove neighborhood.

Finally, I'm also told it's likely Fleming has not left the area since deputies say he savagely murdered his fiancee, Sarah Douglas May 1st.

Thanks Dr. for the updates. I'm not sure where in the woods he would have been living by Elk Grove though. We often go down to the Consumnes River Preserve. I guess there is also another wildlife area and Deercreek area...maybe others I don't know about... hmmm. Curious to hear more details soon

Orville “Mo” Fleming has been found alive and is currently in sheriff’s custody. Detectives tell CBS13 that he was found at a bus stop in Elk Grove, not far from where he abandoned his Cal Fire truck. Sources also say that it looks likely that he had been hiding out in the area since the murder.
