Action News Now has learned the children are 3-year-old Delylah Tara and 6-year-old Shaun Tara. According to the San Bernardino County Sentinel, their mother, Vivian Saucedo was killed in a traffic accident two years ago.

Hagwood told The Daily Beast that the dead children were siblings, and didn’t appear to be related to Huntsman or the 9-year-old girl. It’s unclear why Huntsman had custody of the other two kids or for how long.

Coroner Case #701309563 — On 12/30/2013, at 9:20 PM, a White Female adult, 30-40 years of age, was walking in the area of 14
Street and Yucaipa Blvd. when she was struck by a pick-up truck. Paramedics transported her to Redlands Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 9:56 PM. Her name will be released pending identification and notification of the next of kin. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Department is investigating the collision. Name released: Vivian Saucedo, age: 33 a resident of Yucaipa.

Now this one says the 9-year-old is believed to be the oldest of the Tara siblings. Says the two younger are reported now as missing and not confirmed yet as the deceased children.

Police have learned that Huntsman and Curiel traveled between Salinas, Redding, Shingletown and Quincy between Thanksgiving weekend and Dec. 11, when the couple was arrested in Plumas County in connection to the abuse of the 9-year-old girl. It’s believed the 9-year-old is the eldest of the Tara siblings.

One of the links states that the twins are her children. But there is so much conflicting info out there right now about the relationships of all the minors and Tami that I am still waiting for the dust to settle a bit to map out the familial connections.

Initially, officials were handling what was believed to be a child abuse case.

But on Sunday Plumas County authorities got a call from an individual in Monterey County asking about the condition of a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old tied to the case, Hagwood said.

“We knew nothing about a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old,” the sheriff said. “That was the first we knew anything.
“The information was very specific and very credible.”

Armed with that information, detectives went back to question the pair in jail and learned about the storage locker in Redding, and police there were notified, the sheriff said.

Wow, her boyfriend is 4 years younger than her daughter and doesn't even look old enough to shave. This story gets stranger and more depraved by the minute. I fear what we are in store for once the autopsies and other information comes out.

Niece, nephew named as missing children; unknown if murder victims

"The Redding Police Department has released the identities of the children reported missing, who were in the custody of Tami Joy Huntsman, 39, and Gonzalo Curiel, 17, both of Quincy. They also released additional details about the case.

On Dec. 11, Huntsman and Curiel were booked into the Plumas County Jail on felony child abuse, torture and mayhem charges. The 9-year-old victim in that case was taken into protective custody and is being treated for injuries at a Sacramento area hospital.

During the course of the child abuse investigation in Plumas County, Sheriff's investigators learned that there were possibly two dead children in a commercial storage unit in the city of Redding.

Officers with the Redding Police Department went to AAA Enterprise Store-All, located at 2887 Tarmac Raod, and discovered there were in fact two dead children inside of a rented storage unit.

On Dec. 13, the Redding Police Department started a homicide investigation. Officials said Huntsman and Curiel are considered suspects in the case."

Huntsman has three children of her own, 11-year-old twins (a boy and a girl) and a 14-year-old son. She's filed for a restraining order in January against their father and her husband, Todd Christopher Criswell. She said he verbally abused her.
