As for the camera capturing the vehicle...
It states that the camera caught Sherri running up to the onramp. It doesn't state that the vehicle was captured at all. IIRC, they didn't drop her right on the highway, but on a side road-ish spot and she then ran up the ramp.
I'll have to go back and try to find the news footage/posts that had this map of exactly where they dropped her.

If I could have one thing in this case it would be to see her roots right at the time they pick her up. Yes, I said her roots. She colors / bleaches her hair. So much has been made of her captors humiliating her by cutting off her shoulder length hair. I could maybe believe that humiliation thing if they shaved her head. And I'll even stretch my disbelieving a bit by entertaining the idea that maybe they chose to go only shoulder length because they worried a woman with a shaved head would attract attention if they had to go out in public. As if 2 women with bandana's wrapped around their faces wouldn't attract attention, but I digress. Or having their victim with a bag over her head wouldn't attract attention. If they were really into degrading her, I am sure they would not have let her touch up her roots. So I sure hope we get to see this alleged video.
So if those roots came back touched up, then there are just more crazy aspects to this tale we are going to have to struggle with.

Did LE ever say her nose was broken? It’s not in the latest press release.

I believe that was reported by KP when he detailed her injuries and described how he felt the rise of her scabs under his fingers. But if I am wrong I know someone will correct me lol.

People who lie don’t like to be pinned down to details, so I was thinking that she might have been hoping it would all go away the longer it takes for her to come up with a sketch...if it’s all false. They might just give up trying. Of course, they didn’t. But since I really can’t make a definite statement about her thought process, change the phrase “would be to her advantage” to “she might think it was to her advantage.” Again JMO theorizing.

This is why, IMO, the story of the shower came about. If she showed back up with clearly shaven legs, etc... she had some splainin to do.

How long does it take for roots to grow out on bleached hair? She was gone three weeks. How much would they grow out in that time?
I ask because I honestly don't know, as I have never had my hair bleached.
Very interesting line of thinking, maybe that is why they aren't showing the video or any photos of her.
Because seriously, since nobody except it seems 20/20 has seen photos of her, I think that is one of the big reasons why there is so much doubt.
Not that she owes it to anyone to show photos, but I have read so many people doubt the extent of her injuries it isn't even funny.

For those still wondering where the broken nose reference (s) may have come from, this is from KP's thank you letter to everyone who helped him find his wife, donate money to his family, etc.

"The officers warned me to brace myself. My first sight was my wife in a hospital bed, her face covered in bruises ranging from yellow to black because of repeated beatings, the bridge of her nose broken".

There may be others but I just came across this when re-reading his letter.

I can tell you it takes less than 3 weeks to see I am not a brunette any longer, and am getting quite gray.LOL

I don't think her captors would have trusted her with a razor but what the heck, she stated that they let her live and even let her go after she slammed one of their heads into the toilet, so I guess anything is possible, right?

Hasn't it been theorized that she was dropped off at the wrong exit? What's it like at the exits before and after?

That is a theory I have been toying with, but I haven't mentioned it in ages. I was bothered by the description of the one house that according to Keith had junk cars but from what I see of the houses nearby on the west side of the I-5 the one house that does have abandoned vehicles has them to the rear of the property and they wouldn't have been visible to Sherri at all. I think the working assumption on the threads was the Drilling company's property was possibly what Keith was talking about but there isn't a house there. Sherri's movements from the west side all the way to the east side and north to the Kingdom Hall and then back south down the exit ramp to the I-5 doesn't make much sense either. You can see houses and street lights in Yolo from the Kingdom Hall. She couldn't miss it.

Of course, I am also intrigued by AS getting all into the media as being the one to call 911. However, aside from her and the trucker that actually stopped - dozens of motorists called 911 to report someone on the side of the road that night.

Naturally, I wonder if she had shoes.

I have always thought it was strange that in her news conference her sister does not confirm or deny that SP worked at a job besides that of being a wife or mother. That always stood out to me as a pretty straight forward question that most close relatives would know the answer to unless she just does not want to disclose her work for some reason. We know she did some reselling of clothing online. Maybe she had other online businesses ? Maybe something in an in-home business contact could provide clues to her abduction. I know we discussed this in the past but it has always been another one of the things in this case that has given me more questions than answers.

She was on a crowded , well traveled, well lit highway. Lots and lots of drivers called in to report seeing her there. I don't think she got into anyones vehicle. She just asked them to call for help. And she waited there for the police.

I would do that before I would walk up to a house and knock on the door, alone at night, not knowing who was living there.

Probably not, since we know she was trying to meet up with Michigan man in San Francisco.

But it is something thing I could see her doing. Finding some little imperfection that she sees as a flaw, going to San Francisco or LA, getting it fixed, maybe even going into a recovery center for two weeks, because they are bound by medical confidentiality.

Maybe she went to rehab?

She certainly was doing something for 22 days that she did not want anyone to know about. That pretty much leaves an affair, plastic surgery, doing drugs, rehab... what else?

Hiding from someone who hurt her. Trying to get away from someone who was hurting her.

I don't mean to imply anything about who might have been hurting her, but simply adding to your list the possibility she tried to escape and go to a shelter or a trusted friend's house, but for one reason or another that ended badly.

There are numerous stories out there dating from November 29th, 2016 that says the Sheriff confirmed the injuries that Keith mentioned.

I suppose. I just haven’t seen anything that leads me to assume she had a brain injury. If anything, the younger Latina could possibly have a brain injury from having her head slammed into the toilet. Personally I think LE would have said “due to her injuries, she has brain trauma which is effecting her memory”. It would give a reason why there has been such serious delays in releasing the sketches - bc Sherri is experiencing memory loss due to her brain injury. JMO, but then again I don’t think the delay in assisting authorities with the sketches was anything more than a delay tactic.

KP said she was battered practically beyond recognition and had a broken nose and injuries everywhere. So why not a head injury? Of course being released within hours doesn't lend itself to that theory. Neither does the lack of a statement by LE about a brain injury and resultant memory problems. You're right.
