I think if HRD hit in Sierra's home, LE would be upping the pressure considerably on Marlene and RG. So far, they've been treated in a very low key kind of way by LE.

I followed the Devon Davis case as well. I'm not so sure the dogs were wrong; I think it's possible he went into the creek at that point and slowly washed downstream into the pond underwater. After the process of decomposition had advanced far enough, gasses caused his body to float.

I'd be the last to say dogs can't be mistaken. I've been there and seen them make mistakes.

But HRD detection is actually one of the easier things to train a dog to do. It's not like tracking. HRD detection in a closed and protected environment like a house isn't like shooting fish in a barrel, it's like shooting DEAD fish in a barrel.

I think Sierra was carried out of her house... Into a vehicle that waited somewhere in her driveway.. I don't think she died in her home...

While I do agree that the particular photo in question does look grainier than the others.. It couldn't have been sent from her phone.. That is one thing LE have been clear about.. The photo is separate from the text message.. The photo was taken earlier than when the text MSG was sent from the phone at 7:11am.. The photo was sent from her laptop and NOT sent from her phone..

I find the conflicting info from various LE to be interesting (altho maybe that can be explained by "things have changed"...actually Sheriff Smith pretty much said that things can change in an investigation, which obviously makes all sense). It sounds like they back-pedaled about the SAR dog search info ("end of the driveway" changed to however they phrased it..."the front door" or "thru the front door"...I don't recall). Maybe they took different dogs out there over time, with different scenarios about search starting points, etc., as the investigation proceeded.

It's a constant dilemna to try to analyze the official info released (from LE, but obviously thru MSM), MSM interviews with various people close (some really close) to the case and other MSM reports.

Marlene would have already said that she was wearing the same thing she saw her in when she took the pic and sent it to her friend. Marlene has always said PJs and that makes me think she had both the top and bottom of her PJs on.

Phones generally have an f-stop of 2.8, some at 1.4 (that is the area of what you could consider an eyeball as fully dilated, or think a cat in the pure darkness walking around the house tearing your home apart.) This is really hard to explain, but camera phones are really good at adjusting and compensating for "ambient light", especially artificial light.

Has LE released what phone Sierra had?

When you have an f-stop that low (open) you usually get higher noise.

What has peaked my interest since my last post is; the last picture of Sierra I am going to compare in a second. If we at WS have sleuthed hard enough I am going to take a picture on my phone, upload it, then take another picture off my phone of that picture on my computer and see the noise. I also have a Mac, so maybe the resolution brightness (of my computer) will make my picture overly bright like that of Sierras? Not saying this happened, cause I am still very confident, but just to test a theory here.

I saw that picture of Sierra and the first thing I thought was "She is sitting in a kitchen area with fluorescent lighting" -- cause I can spot that stuff like no tomorrow.

Okay, so rerouting, has it been said Sierra really had a Mac? Cause Mac computers have a BRUTAL flash when taking photos from the laptop.

I would really hate to have to photograph myself to explain. I might just pose my cats, but I i will show how it works as soon as my sun sets.
My flash compensates for the "lost light" and makes it look like I am at mid noon if I take a picture from my webcam/iphoto.

I dont really put stock in either one because they really dont know unless they were involved.

It does nag me that the fields by Sierra's home wasnt being worked that day. So if I chose which one may be right it might be the male's opinion.

Weird (j/k)...those are all scenarios with which I have wrestled (and still wrestle). I keep leaning towards "B". Regarding that, the guest from Klaaskids on WS Radio said that they have people working on scrutinizing online ads on an ongoing basis (not just in conjunction with Sierra's case).

There's a part of me that thinks maybe, just maybe, she left willingly...with someone she knew that was assisting/encouraging her to leave (whether it was Sierra's idea or not)...altho that could, of course, turn bad...

Now most of my children have Androids and they take beautiful clear shots. Crystal clear. They will upload the photos onto their FB pages sometimes.

She had a droid smartphone(android owned by google).. And just wanted to be sure that it's known that according to LE the photo that we're talking about, bright lighting, Sierra's tongue sticking out, was SENT FROM HER MAC Laptop .. It was NOT sent from her droid cell phone..

No, the last one to see what she was dressed in was her friend when she sent her picture to her that morning. That is why the FBI has that description of the Shark Sweatshirt including logo description up on their website and not the PJs.

I've put this out here before, but I always wonder if someone offered to take her to a Sharks game and that is why she had the extra clothing (Sharks jersey/t-shirt) and was possibly wearing the Sharks sweatshirt that morning.

The Sharks had a game that next Saturday. It's not that far away.

There was discussion about it, tho...LE (SO) IIRC changing "to the end of the driveway" to something else. Perhaps in Sheriff Smith's statements?

Maybe someone else recalls or can find it (please)? :blush: Hopefully it wasn't just a poster misunderstanding and other running with it.

I keep coming back to your post, for some reason. As you note, Lauren Spierer's crowd is older. As Sierra's sister's crowd would be. Her sister was on spring break that week ... I wonder if any of her male acquaintances had met Sierra? On break, they'd have been more free to come and go, with no school attendance, etc. Just a thought ... grasping a little, as with Lauren, sadly.

I have wondered about this also. It would fit the profile of an acquaintance that she might feel comfortable getting in the car with that morning, but nobody would connect them.
My son is 4 yrs older than my daughter. She often had 'creepers' ,as she calls them, that knew her brother from sports or school, that would friend her on FB and then try and hit on her. Even in real life if she ran into them.
