We've had a quite a few fatalities in crosswalks and it's an enforcement that has more support than speed on green cameras I'd think (especially the one on Beddington Trail and Country Hills that seems to love issuing me tickets, lol)

Was his infraction that he entered the crosswalk when a pedestrian was half way across the road, and not yet on the curb at the other side of the street? Was there is a median?

You would think her family would take whatever steps necessary to have her cell acct closed?.....or maybe they didn't think of it?...or didn't think it would matter as they wouldn't worry about ongoing cell phone bills?..........OR.....was her cell phone even in HER NAME? ........maybe not and whomever got it set up for her didn't bother to have it cancelled? Or maybe LE wanted it kept active so they could keep an eye on calls to her #?

If the family knew about the phone, they probably paid to keep it active in the hope that they would find a clue to her disappearance.

I've been having a dip into threads occasionally since DGs arrest but haven't read every post ... can anyone fill me in? Has there been any new evidence? Announcements?

No. There's a hearing this week for identify theft, and another on August 14 for murder.

I got mine when I was 15 so I could get a job. You need one to work. My kids already have theirs and I got them when they were born so I could open RESPs for them.

I don't remember ever applying for mine. I know my parents must of gotten mine while I was still young. I have all my children's. I only had to apply for one and the other two just came in mail shortly after their birth. Things seem to change all the time... I am also wondering if it has been confirmed what school DG went to? I am wondering if he was home schooled? I know home schooling didn't happen very often back then but that could explain why there is such trouble finding info on schooling and such...

Stan Laurel posted a link a while back showing the school DG attended. If you look back through his posts a week to 10 days ago you'll find it. Sadly, I don't remember the name or I would save you the trouble. I also pictured him as being home schooled and isolated but he did the mainstream thing education wise.

Could It of been a pay and talk phone? Maybe she had lots of prepaid minutes on her phone when she was killed...

It was George MacDougall in Airdrie, it was the only high school in the area at the time. PG went to Bert Church because it was built in 1982 and closer to thr G acreage.

I have been praying for this since day one. Sadly, I think they are in Mexico to investigate business dealing of AL and DG.
