So, everyone, how would you interpret the police's saying the case was "Less of a mystery" on July 3? He was saying "We are getting good information coming in" when he said that, so it seems it was the information that came in that made it less of a mystery, rather than some kind of discovery in the house. So perhaps the family provided possible motive and suspects.
This I think is significant.
JO goes to Liknes home at 10 AM and whether the door was locked or not, somehow enters the house, finds no one there and
according to Global News phones LE from the Liknes house http://globalnews.ca/news/1445696/t...amily-nathan-obrien-alvin-and-kathryn-liknes/ June 30 – Nathan’s mother called police from his grandparents’ home around 10 a.m. when she went to pick up her son, but found no one at home. Police issued an Amber Alert later that day. (4:30 CTV first Amber Alert - http://calgary.ctvnews.ca/amber-alert-issued-for-missing-five-year-old-from-calgary-1.1893711

then according to LE quote from CTV http://calgary.ctvnews.ca/amber-alert-issued-for-missing-five-year-old-from-calgary-1.1893711 “When we went to the address and after speaking with family members, the home was not in the condition it would have typically been left in and there is some indication in the home that the occupants did not leave under their own volition,” said CPS spokesperson Kevin Brookwell.

July 3 - LE indicate it was less of a mystery

July 4 - LE issue the photo of the truck and also indicate per Global News http://globalnews.ca/news/1433136/p...ncident-occurred-inside-missing-familys-home/ “Based on what we’ve seen at the scene, we believe there was a violent incident at the residence,” said S/Sgt. Doug Andrus

If the scene inside the Liknes house was obvious, why issue an Amber Alert, why AA include only AL and NO as primary people involved, why did it take from 10am to 4:30 before an Amber Alert issued, why 3 days later less of a mystery. There were other assumptions/information within the family that was provided to LE we are not privy to. Why is the identity of the blood not divulged? What is the advantage to LE in not revealing this? The days were ticking by after Monday June 30th.

What is the deal with the mobile phone icon on KLs FB beside these recent updates on the puzzle game?

Is anyone familiar with how that works on FB?

Is someone on KLs phone playing FB games or are those marketing type solicitations to get her to play the game again.

Does anyone know?

All the posts are at exactly 1:05 pm in July. Prior to that, there is no time. I do see them being posted every 2 days though. I'm thinking it's marketing, but......

I think the case became "less of a mystery" because video surveillance evidence became available.

I'm not seeing the mobile phone icon WG ??

WRT the puzzles, I think it's something KL has subscribed to and it's just automatic. We saw this in another case (can't remember which one right now, but it was automatic daily horoscopes)

Thanks, SB.

Yes, there is a mobile phone icon, which I think just means her FB updates go to her phone and she has her mobile attached to her FB but someone who knows for sure can confirm.

I am interested to know if they are identical as well. The only kink in that is that AL walks with a limp and I am just assuming his brother does not. I'm not sure how much of a limp but it was mentioned several times.

Contrary to popular believe identical twins do not have the same DNA but this is a new revelation in the scientific community.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/...ed-for-same-crime-after-DNA-breakthrough.html

But would crime lab DNA tests in Calgary go that far?

Also, has the brother been seen or heard from since this fiasco?

Mod, please remove if not allowed. Acc to KL's FB, they are not identical. Or, at least, they don't look identical.

Given the apparently genuine sadness and anxiety of the JO and RO, and the seemingly close relationship between the L's and their children, I, for one, don't believe it's a trick by the L's. It's possible the L's have their secret plans regarding their upcoming moving and travel, but totally unlikely, IMO, that they plotted the disappearance of themselves and Nathan. Recall the McStay family case. From the beginning until their bodies were discovered, many speculated, with all kinds of reasoning using their background, that they secretly went to Mexico.
Sadly in the McStay case I don't think they have arrested the murderer or murderers :( But this disappearance did remind me of the McStay family. Hoping they can find the L's and their grandson alive :) What could have happened and where are they????

Thanks, SB.

I think it may be because you're viewing it on mobile.. the link has 'm' in it for mobile, I can't see the phone icon on my computer.

Interesting-
“When we went to the address and after speaking with family members, the home was not in the condition it would have typically been left in and there is some indication in the home that the occupants did not leave under their own volition,” said CPS spokesperson Kevin Brookwell.
So who else was at the house with JO when police arrived? How long had everyone been there before they did?
