HA! My water hose only gets put up on mowing day! Otherwise it's spread across the yard in one direction or another...watering garden, filling horse trough, or filling swimming pools for the pigs! Too much work to keep rolling that thing up every day, so I just leave it!

My last thought on this case is that DG and AL must have had a recent dealing with each other. I highly doubt this is stemming from some patent thing 7 years ago. If so that's a whole other level of crazy IMO. Not that it makes a difference at this point.

It could of been the fact that they were moving away that tipped him into action.

Perhaps the suicide watch is a ploy for sympathy; perhaps a ploy for safety... I can imagine that he is the most hated man in the prison... or maybe the surprise of what happened to sweet little Nathan is getting to him.

Obviously i don't know this guy from Adam, but there's something about him that, IMO if he was to suicide, it would be for the last hurrah ... his biggest accomplishment todate .. that he could take the info of this family's whereabouts to the grave.

I am pretty sure we all know DG is a sociopath...but I found this article which I found very interesting and very on point with DG....worth a read

http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

I have not read the article yet, just going to now but I do really believe he is a sociopath as well. Just the way he holds himself in the videos when he is being escorted by the police. Also his past seems to lead me to believe it. He also seems to be able to make excuses if he is caught basically saying it is not his fault, this or that (car accident/break down). He seems self righteous and confident in his walk. (Head down but looking up as if annoyed or bored. That is my unprofessional opinion.

One last thought on this: it's just semantics, but the word 'evening' could mean driving around in anticipation of the visit. To me, a Calgarian, I'd call anything after 10 pm 'night'. JMO..

Yes I do think that he did drive around a bit before actually doing the dead... and doing it in anticipation definitely seems to fit is character from what we know. He may of come back to clean up after the fact but I don't know if he would be that "unorganized" seems like maybe he would of brought everything with him the first time, but then again he might not of wanted to just have the bodies "laying around" while he took the time to do a clean up job. But if the police first released that the house had evidence of a violent struggle occurred, how much cleaning did he really do? (just doing some thinking out loud)

Apparently they need to either say they they want to commit suicide or attempt it.
While it can be a bid for segregation - thus safety or the beginnings of a case for mental incompetence, I wonder if the greatest goal isn't solitude?

Being a loner all of his life, he has I'm guessing been besieged by people.
I don't think an introvert can re energize with all that intrusion!
( police, guards, inmates, cell mates, interrogations, transfers and a lot of strangers)
He may not even be able to think.

Or- he's realized there's no getting out of this one.

IMHO, I'm not convinced DG's green truck was the only method of transportation used.

I still think it's entirely possible that DG parked his truck in the back lane behind their house, gained entry either by slipping in an unlocked door or by being let in, and left with the 3 victims in AL's truck. He disposes of the 3 victims in some manner or places them somewhere to deal with later, brings AL's truck back, cleans up quickly outside the property, wipes down surfaces he remembers touching on the inside and leaves out the back way of the Parkhill home and drives away in his truck.

It was mentioned that SpyHill landfill is where garbage would go from his parent's property although I suspect they haven't found much there. I would suggest that he is fairly thorough and methodical in his approach.

Problem is, he had a few days before LE was on to him. He had a number of chemicals at his disposal and he more than likely planned and plotted this out. Yes, he got caught out by (probably a plethora of) CCTV cameras, they may prove to be his undoing. Sucks to be a loner and not engaged as much in the real world.

Also IMHO, I think LE HAVE found trace evidence of chemicals in his truck that match chemicals found at the acreage. Still not 100% convinced though he took the 3 victims to the acreage, I still feel he didn't go far. He was a child, early teen in the Bankview/South Calgary neighbourhood (16th Street/26th Avenue), back in the day when children ran free compared to now. I'd be looking in South Calgary Park (which is not far from the Parkhill home), again IMHO.

just a thought... I do know that a lot of the city's garbage is brought out of the city to a huge landfill by (I think it's) Cardston... (I will ask my hubby for sure, but it was funny a week or so before this ever happened my hubby was called to a job site in that area and he was just disgusted by the smell and that the majority of the city's garbage was hauled out that far...)

Because he honestly thought he outsmarted the crime and was going to get away with it.

I totally agree that he thought he was going to get away with it... and wouldn't be surprised if he still thinks he will... I just pray and hope they do have enough evidence to be sure that doesn't happen.

Off topic, and just a personal comment--no "likes" expected. I was away on holidays for the past ten days in Vancouver, and the only site I "couldn't" log into using a friend's computer, was Websleuth's. Very disappointing. I am so far behind, it will take many, many hours to catch up. Maybe a mod or member can give a tip on how to access the site when we aren't on our own computer. Thanks. :)

Or he's having another mental breakdown? If so, perhaps he'll talk?

I think you just google "websleuths" and then just login.

If you can't log in for some reason, then you should be able to just view it.

I think he has Aspergers.

As a former special Ed teacher, the best way to agitate him and get him out of his element (to increase the still slim possibility that he'll talk) is to expose him to the rest of the prison population.

Just a quick question... Who is FC?

Father Christmas :) just kidding. Fernando (Frank) Chora. He was involved with AL's daughter EL and shot her. Luckily the bullet passed through her breast implants and she survived.

I agree. Keeping him off centre might result in a slip.
People, activity, and noise- so different than what he's used to on the farm!

Thanks daniela40. Didn't work, and I don't want to take away from the conversation, and will ask a mod. :)
