hey deug, is this the girl you couldn't figure out in relation to the recent murder in Calgary where the fellow was arrested today?

She is just popping up everywhere! FWIW Her family was upfront about her drug addiction.

"Police were especially concerned for Behl due to fears she was being exploited. A man she was found with has since been taken into police custody."

The FB page set up for Jessica is getting lost in sympathy quotes. Her photos and information are being burried by all the "support". The page needs to be refreshed with the facts and her description and a photo of what she would look like on a typical day. Was Jessica's hair pink when she went missing? I assume it would be washed out by now or not as vibrant. Does she have addiction problems? Has she ever left town or lived in another city? What else could be shared that could help find her?

What if in a few weeks the Police come back to the family with nothing?

Self sabotage entails other coping measures besides suicide. Jessica could have retreated back to old habits or addictions to forget or pass on the approaching responsibilities. Maybe an opportunity presented itself and it was a way out so she decided at the last minute to take it. Possibly the responsibility of providing and caring for her child was extremely hard for her to comprehend and she did not want to disappoint her child or those that have supported her. Jessica may have been afraid that she could not care for her child and so instead of trying the new arrangement and instead of putting her child through the change of homes and upbringing she ran away.

Agreed, I mentioned something along those lines upthread about whether she drank or not. I had thought maybe she had a drink after shift and possibly went to a neighbor's for a drink as well to unwind, then remembered her court the next day so thought maybe not likely….but then again….it could be likely if she had the urge to just shut off and relax and who knows, maybe she did something drastic.

She might've run away if it was all too much. But boy, I would think that leaving her kids, family, and the public hanging that it would weigh on her conscience by now and she'd come out from hiding. I hope she's found safe.

The other two kids live out of the city correct? And visitation was scheduled for the other. The disconnect was already there. It's not abandonment... it's just seeing them even less. It happens.

The longer this goes on, yes, the less likely she left on her own, or perhaps she ran to the wrong place.

Hopefully, whatever the outcome, someone learns to act before this sort of thing happens. Even from the little we know, all the warning signs were there that some sort of help was needed. Support after someone falls is too late.

They look close...

And as an aside, LE released her picture in regards to being a witness in a murder. So much for my AP theory. I wonder what sort of liability they open themselves up to by doing that should the witness come to harm because of it.

A discussion for another time.
I suspected it was the same girl. I had helped her family locate her by pulling some strings back when she went missing. My impression was that aside from the meth, she had found herself involved with some low-lifes that run escorts out of the hotel where police found the suspect.

Good that you were able to assist! The hotel and escort biz must be why police handcuffed some of the guests when they were asked to leave their rooms as well the various arrests. I wonder what else will come of that.

That place is awful! Ironically, it is also where they put up homeless families when the shelters are full. It is also where many drifter's stay, because it is cheap, on the transit line and available monthly. This hotel has become such a magnet for criminals, that police should just open up a satellite office in the lobby.

Calgary has a housing crisis so motels have become common places to rent month to month. It is almost impossible to rent a place without a full credit report, criminal check and a ton of money.

is there a timestamp somewhere on fb that shows when somebody liked a picture,,,, jn has "liked" a picture posted on the day she disappeared. not sure where to look for a timestamp??????

I have never seen that function. The only way to tell would be her activity log. Hopefully LE have been able to get into her accounts.

what time did her shift start? what time was she dropped off at work?

the picture was posted at 3:30 pm (Calgary time to save a time zone argument)

That I don't know. Usually, dinner shifts start between 4:30 - 5:30 depending on the section.

... but wrong. We know now she didn't walk home.

Unless she had started to walk home or told her co-workers she was walking and then KCR picked her up last minute or along her walk home. Did anyone actually see her being picked up from work or see her walking away from work?

I'm surprised cameras at traffic lights ,stores etc woul don't have picked up KCR's car ,on route,at that time.Who saw him drop her off?
