@copkid I definitely think KM's eyes look a little uneasy when they're leaving.

But I don't think BS is walking behind because he's keeping an eye at KM. Watch his eyes throughout. They're darting around constantly, looking at his shirt and glancing around the store. I think if he walked behind KM to keep an eye on him, he would have been watching him far more intently. (I've certainly done that when I felt like I had to keep an eye on someone.) As it is, he almost seemed to be off in outer space/his own little world.

Edited to add: KM seems to walk with purpose and seems to be actively perusing the store in comparison to BS, which is another reason I think he is the leader.

the thing about BS that seems odd to me is his very top button on his shirt is buttoned. i seen the same thing in a earlier picture that was posted. i never see anyone with the very top button done unless they are wearing a tie.

I've only seen one photo with button down (all others t-shirts) but not so unusual with camo or adventure wear as the flying pests are thick and plentiful, and more protection of your neck the better. MOO

They could just remove the SIM card from the phone and only use it when connected to wifi. Unless police knew the unique number assigned to the phone they wouldn’t be able to track it, which might be hard to know if they have phones that are passed down or bought second hand.

I wrote about this earlier. In such remote areas, any new phone powering up near a tower will be noticed by the network operator right away.

Not necessarily. There’s been old schoolmates who’ve said that they found them uncomfortable to hang out with. Kam and Bryer might not have much engagement with peers. They might have found some connection online in certain gaming communities but online games require good high speed connection to log in and play and access the chat feature hike playing. The only viable option could be they might post something in a static fan/game forum.

There are at least 2 road blocks stopping all traffic on the road back to winnipeg, one at the first intersection you come to and one at the second. The msm has also shown photos of drones and helicopters. Hitchhiking out any time after tuesday doesn't seem viable

before 7pm, so in actuality these two had a good
24 hour jump on LE. IMO they were long gone
by the time LE started searching Gillam.

How far south? It would be difficult, if not impossible, for them to cross the border into the US. If they were to go south and remain in Canada, they would likely avoid large cities. I say that because they've been keen on venturing into remote wilderness. They seem to be comfortable with it. Would they change tack now?

I think I said early on that I thought KM was the leader . This video makes it clear in my mind . Seems like he’s the “brains” and has a much cooler head . Seems like BS is more of a hothead from what I’ve read in interviews with people that know him. We don’t know much about Kams personality other than he has “kind eyes” and a “nice smile “. Also , it looked to me like BS was buttoning up his shirt hiding something maybe..... he shoplifted .

Experts have warned the two Canadian teenagers suspected of murdering three people — including Australian backpacker Lucas Fowler — have the potential to inflict greater violence the longer they hide from authorities.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) believe teenagers Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, and Kam McLeod, 19 are still in northern Manitoba where their burnt-out and abandoned car was found on Tuesday (AEST).

A search for the pair is underway in the northern Manitoba wilderness after police confirmed two sightings of Mr Schmegelsky and Mr McLeod were reported prior to the discovery of the burning vehicle, 70 kilometres outside of Gillam.
The lack of any stolen vehicles being reported has lead police to believe the suspects are on foot and camping in the woods.

Walden University criminal psychologist Eric Hickey told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation the pair of teenagers posed a threat to anyone they came across as they had "nothing to lose".

"I suspect they're in hiding for a short time until they run out of resources," Mr Hickey said.

"They're going to go on and run again and when they do, of course, they are very dangerous."

I think LE needs to address the gaming aspect of these suspects.
They have had years of gaming so it is only natural for them to almost play this scene as a game-
I think they are not rationale and instead of living with their "gaming expertise"
the entire purpose of Call of duty or any of the other games they played is to seek -hunt-escape

To continue east they have to at least go south to winnipeg.

As soon as they get past winnipeg they are back into wilderness a lot like Gillam, just not as dense.

The manitoba-ontario border is all wilderness and small towns, the biggest cities are kenora and thunder bay, once you get ~20km outside of them you are back into the wilderness, with some farm land mixed in

University of Toronto sociologist Jooyoung Lee told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that the pair would "feel their world closing in" the longer they stayed on the run, with their anxiety increasing as they become aware they are wanted.

Having studied mass killers, Mr Lee said similar killing sprees typically end with a suicide pact or a shootout with law enforcement.

"This killing spree is conceptualised as a final act of retribution against a world that you believe has wronged you in some way," Mr Lee said.

Police have received around 80 tips from the public about the suspects as they search forest, dense bush and swamps for the pair.
Drones and dogs are being used to help the search, in a region authorities have described as challenging and unforgiving.

The RCMP have repeatedly told the public not to approach the pair, who they say should be "considered dangerous".

"If they come across a cabin, or a fisherman, or… a hunter, they would be in serious trouble," Mr Hickey said.
"They have nothing to lose at all."

Hmmmm. I am not seeing what some of you all are in the video that Kam seems to be the leader. I mean he’s walking in front, but I don’t think that means anything. I think they both look like they’re trying to look nonchalant but failing big time. They look like normal kids except that they’re both so tall! I also am not seeing that Kam might be taller? At least not from this video.

When we get either provincial ID or our Drives license we are asked our height and weight. The police would have access to that info. It's likley they both gave the same height and weight for their id's


Edited to add that we are not measured or weighed when we get out ID. If it seems reasonable the numbers given are accepted. Just after having my little I was email 20 lbs heavier then usual. I gave my normal weight and that's what was printed on my ID

That video confirms what I have suspected all along--that KM is the leader and BS is the follower. To me, BS has always seemed like the textbook follower in a killing duo. They can ostensibly be the most active one action-wise, but it doesn't mean they're the planner or the ringleader.

That would make him prime pickings for a stronger personality, and his more active demonstrations on social media were likely designed with one audience in mind--KM--to prove he was worthy of that attention.

The full camo suit is pretty showy too, for a guy who isn't in the military, but Kam is just casual. Bryer apparently always went to Kam's house to stay over, but Kam never went to Bryer's house (according to BS father). Bryer also looks somewhat timid or submissive in the face... He probably was the less dominant personality but that's just my interpretation. Doesn't make him any less involved of course.
