It was NYE...we had just had a storm a a few days prior and those roads weren't in the best condition. Cops would have been out in full force, noticing 2 people in car that maybe was speeding a bit, not going straight...they might have just been pulled over as a precaution.
Hopefully when LE noticed the blood or mess, they would have asked for ID and rang it through to see if there were previous's??? JMO

Or...if they were escorted to a hospital for wounds they stated they caused themselves, surely at some point they would have been asked for ID

I would think the cops would be out full force IN town but out of town like that? I know it was NYE but still, I dont see many cops in the country regardless of the day. Is that road well travelled? I just think it's odd out of all the people out there, these 2 were stopped ... glad if they were though, dont get me wrong.

But If I was a passenger in that car and they asked for my ID, if I did nothing wrong I wouldnt be handing it over ... (the driver, ok I could see that) .. and if I DID do something wrong (that LE didnt know about) I sure as heck still wouldnt be handing it over. LE can ask all they want but if you havent done anything wrong, they cant force you to hand over ID .. stupid error of these 2 <modsnip> perhaps?? JMO

In regards to the requested publication ban, would this be TB and MM's lawyers requesting? Or could it be NP's family? If it is in fact TB and MM's lawyers who want the ban, I say it should not be granted. However, if the family are requesting certain things not be put in the media, then by all means that should be honoured. JMO

Hi, I forgot to mention that on MM's Alt.com profile, he lists his experience as 1-5 years. He gives his age as 18 in his short bio/description. I think he has been into some crazy stuff for awhile and it started in London, ON. because that's where he was living 1-5 years before he joined Alt.com. That would make him anywhere from 13-17 years old when he started either having sex or what I really think it means, when he first started acting out bdsm fantasies. JMO

If it is in fact TB and MM's lawyers who want the ban, I say it should not be granted. However, if the family are requesting certain things not be put in the media, then by all means that should be honoured. JMO

Honestly, I don't think the family has much say in that...but I don't know. It would be the lawyers asking, as they don't want their cases 'soiled'

Is there an underground sex "dungeon/fetish club" anywhere near or in Sarnia? How about London, ON? By this, I mean a location where people meet up and do their thing. A lawyer friend of mine told me about one she knows about in Toronto from a case she took.

When TB and MM were arrested, the papers mentioned, from my recollection, that MM's lawyer noted his injuries. Did they have the same lawyers? I'm inquiring bc maybe MMs lawyer asked him about social media and he was going to shut his accounts down. But, if TB didn't have a lawyer, maybe that is why her FB is still up? As far as why someone would still be FB friends with TB....maybe there are just acquiantances and TB going/working at Lambton College probably added a whole bunch of people to her friends list. THose people maynot know about what is going on (although I find that hard to believe?) We have to use the word 'friends' from FB very loosely...

When their names were released, I had 4 mutual "friends" with TB. I now have 2. I know that at least one of my friends received some horrible messages from someone about being "friends" with her. He knew her through a friend.

I have been watching her friend count. I am wondering to myself... if these were true acquaintances, they may not realize that they still have her on there. It is possible. One of the friends I see often. At some point I want to ask him if this was a conscious decision or not. I am truly curious. Of course it is up to him who he keeps on and innocent until PROVEN guilty and all that stuff. IMO.:waitasec:

Still, every prisoner has the right to ask for clothes, and I know if it were me, video or not...I'd want to look as respectful as I can. After all..I'd be facing a judge!

No news on what she was dressed in, and as someone else mentioned, if they were lawyer-ed up, you would think the lawyers would recommend proper court attire...

Sarnia FOXFM radio station is saying that the Pub. ban was granted. Does it happen that quickly.

I am not surprised if it is.

To be honest, I want them to cross every t on this case and make it stick if they are guilty.

A man and woman charged with first degree murder in the death of 27 yr old Noelle Paquette appeared in Sarnia Court this morning. (Thurs)

19 year old Michael MacGregor, in orange prison attire, his hands and lower arms heavily bandaged, appeared first by video followed by 31 year old Tanya Bogdanovich. Both were remanded in custody to January 31st for another video appearance. A ban on the publication or broadcast of evidence was imposed in the case that has shocked the community. The body of Sarnia school teacher Noelle Paquette was found in a woodlot off Mandaumin Road January 2nd after she had gone missing after leaving a New Year&#8217;s Eve party in downtown Sarnia.


Question-- This article is different than the one in the Observer, and says a publication ban was "imposed". The other article stated it had been "requested". Does that mean then that it was granted? I'm assuming so, but I know how media can word things wrong sometimes.
