While the OC assigned to Millard Air has been retired, the business is still alive today selling aircraft and parts. At its peak in the 1970s, Millard operated 21 aircraft (and owned more on top of that) and employed some 25 staff (including pilots). There are still six aircraft owned by the firm today: three DC-4s – one in open storage at Brantford and two at Pearson – and three Piper Navajos, which are also kept at YYZ.

I know I read that there was shipping of auto parts but still trying to find it.

Wow! Can you get the pics side by side?

I won't post the pics side by side since we can't post anything from social media if the person isn't a confirmed suspect, but I looked up the SV boot pics again....the boots are identical. Check out the third boot in from the left, then go back and look at the AM boot photo.

I'm not implicating AM as a suspect in the SM murder, just stating a fact about the boots.

I have put in a special rewind request to the Scanner WSers in the parking lot.

If anyone wants to pick up the scanner feed for this case, I guess there would be several scanner locations, they can do it here in the Parking Lot, and start a new thread for Tim. Just remember not to bring scanner discussion back to this thread. What happens in the basement, stays in the basement.

I could be wrong but I don't think you can follow police scanners in Canada.

IMO: they have found the crime scene.

'Detective Sergeant Matt Kavanagh said he is awaiting a search warrant, expected later Monday, before investigators can begin combing through the trailer and pickup truck. “I seized a trailer yesterday. There is a truck in it. I don’t know if it’s Bosma’s or not until my warrant’s signed. But there is a truck,” he said.'

Seeing those pics again and then seeing the one on AM's account makes me sick. Thing is, AM's image was posted in 2012 and I think SV's murder was in 2010? Also very popular brand of boots by Dakota it looks like. Ugh.

I heard the same thing. Canadian LE communications are done through an encrypted network inaccessible to the public.

At first I thought the Audrey Gleave connection was silly. But now reading about auto parts and shipping....her and the car she loved....it might not be that much of a stretch.

Ugh. I don't know why, but in this case, I just can't accept that TB might have passed. I guess my mind just wants to reject the fact that anyone could kill an innocent, church-going husband and father over a TRUCK :(

I'm kind of glad, I don't get much done these days as it is. LOL

Here is the man who called in the tip:

FC, who lives beside Madeleine Burns, Mr. Millard’s mother, called police on Sunday morning after becoming suspicious about the large black trailer, which appeared in her driveway on Thursday evening and was parked against the garage door. Ms. Burns did not return phone messages.

“It really didn’t appear at the beginning to look anything out of the ordinary, but as time went on … our neighbours looked at it and said you know, it might be a good idea to have the police check it out,” said Mr. C, an IT manager.

Facebook photos show Millard, 27, has an interest in restoring and repairing cars, as well as offroad racing. (Facebook)

So the neighbour sees the trailer on Thursday but others said they saw it show up on Wed. night. This trailer would take up the entire driveway, no? I tried to see the driveway in Google maps. Is it a paver stove drive?
