I know we've talked about it but I don't have the "heart" to read back - she bought MORE shampoo and conditioner? I shampoo my hair every day and I don't go through shampoo like she does! Maybe they are teensy bottles? Crazy! And I guess she just isn't eating jail food or she'd be a "big house" with all the junk food she seems to eat.

So Cindy trotted over there - what twelve days or two weeks ago? Let's see how long it takes her to make the return trip.

Yeah they're little baby 4 oz containers, like you get complimentary at the hotel.

OK...gonna hate myself for getting involved in this discussion...BUT, it's NOT about bra's ....since JB takes THAT as a serious infraction of his clients privacy....wonder why he didn't mention the "big girl panties" they have available???

At any rate....the shampoo they have that's "maximum body" formula comes in a 12 oz bottle...same as the conditioner.

I can only assume, perhaps, she's one of those people who takes that "lather-rinse-repeat" part of the directions seriously for the product to work properly???

Also, maybe one of those doozies of a motion, submitted by JB, et al, will be submitted to HHJP and the JAC regarding KC's indigency status, and should cover her commissary purchases....

GIven that it appears KC's license did in fact expire...........I thought this was interesting to consider in her case.

http://www.dc.state.fl.us/orginfo/programs/index.html

Florida Safety Council Memorandum of Agreement: Provides Advanced Driver Instruction (ADI) for inmates with a suspended, revoked, or expired driver’s license. This course provides information which enables inmates to take the necessary steps to obtain a valid Florida driver’s license upon their release.

Could there have been a "reason" to allow her license to expire?????

ETA......the ADI course in available online. It is a 12 hour class. If nothing else.......it would give her time out of her cell.

So... regarding commissary...Casey is overdrawn again. After receiving felonies for stealing checks...she has been, somehow, allowed to overdraw at the jail (again). Is there a reason the OCSD enables this kind of disgusting irresponsibility?

The commissary will not give Casey an order that creates a negative balance. If she orders more than she has in her account, they will not give her the full order, but a partial order.

The jail charges Casey $1.50 per day for her room and board. This is continually subtracted, and *can* create a negative balance.

This time around, Casey snuck in her order just in time for just the right amount. Then the jail room and board amount was subtracted and Vwa Lah! a negative balance!

Can't they just go in her smelly little cell (or dorm room like KC thinks it is) and take back the $6+ in junk food that hasn't been opened?

If I don't have money in my bank account....I don't get to buy things. It's that simple.

Oh oh - I'm not sure I want to discuss this, but have we seen her buy any since she's been in there - big girl ones or otherwise?:waitasec:

I bet the little con artist knows exactly when the right time is! She has plenty of time to figure out how to beat the system. It's probably quite a thrill for her. The COs should confiscate all of her extra junk food to repay the overcharge.

i have never heard of ANY jail that gives commissary credit. No money, no goods.

Ok...$140 in two weeks? Is that true? I'd be hard pressed to spend that much on incidentals in two weeks. I mean...she is being fed, right?

That was my reaction.

I am wondering if it is just another way to get back at her parents .... that she winds down the A/C again and it hits the media, so there is pressure to make another payment. Silly game.

I guess there is nothing better to do than to treat yourself at the commissary but if the A's just keep on topping up and don't keep her to a monthly budget .... ICA is going to run them dry.

How far/how often will the jail let her get overdrawn? Anybody know??? How do they collect if noone makes a deposit? I saw there was a list of "Indigent items"...

Hi RR. She must eat like a horse.:bud:

from her letters to "cookie" I got the impression she was eating from the commissary and not the jail food at all, and she's probably right - jail food isnt exactly the healthiest, it's only supposed to keep you alive.

but that's prolly most of the money, towards food. and I expect there's some trading for stuff going on. she's in PC but we already know that doesnt mean she doesnt get to talk to people at times.

I would think jail food would have to be healthy, no? Of course, it's probably not all that appetizing. Too bad Casey!

BBM: (insert sarcasm) Well, they've been doing it for at least 5 years, way before she was in jail, so why stop now? (end sarcasm)

Two people from out-of-state have paid off the debt KC owes to the court. Not sure these people get it. KC does not care whether it's paid or not. She will probably never drive again. She has stolen money from friends, relatives, etc. so she could care less about this debt she has because she had stolen the money in the first place. So what does that tell you. Hope these people did not shortchange their own families to send her money because KC really just does not care...... And this has always been KC's problem because there is always someone there to bail her out. You do her no favors by not letting her learn her lessons. jmo

Court records show that a collection agency has opened a case to recover money Casey Anthony owes on her theft case.

I think the small deposits brought her jail account out of the red, but she still owes the court money. I don't know how a collection agency can hope to recover funds from her.
I doubt there will be further deposits from mom and pop if the money's going to a collection agency.

Maybe she'll be snackless. Do you think the A's would pay the court fees so they can keep giving ICA money?

Not sure how that works either. Maybe so much would come out to repay the debt. I thought they had paid off the debt. jmo

So true lambchop,

The only time Casey earned a wage, legally, was the short time she worked at Universal...but then she abandoned her job...and instead of earning a wage for herself and become financially independent..she made a conscious decision, probably with forethought, malice and spite, and chose to STEAL money from her toddler's piggy bank, her immediate family, her grandmother, her grandfather's assisted living bank account and friends..
I most definitely will not be sending money for her jail account, or any account..let her family keep supporting her, she has shown she has had no inclination to have a job and legally earn money since Caylee was born.

It's sad enough that I, my family and friends and other Floridians, who work and pay taxes, must pay for her legal bills..but we have a justice system and this is part of it..oh well...

:twocents:

My apologies if this sounds like a rant..it is not...just a few of my thoughts and :twocents:
