"Casey has been trying to tell the police in her own way what she can tell them and the only unfortunate thing is, you know, they want a clear picture," Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, told FOX News. "There's no clear picture. Casey has her reasons why she just can't blurt out the whole story, so she's been honest with them for what she can be honest with."
Earlier, Cindy Anthony had told NBC's "Today" Show Monday that Casey Anthony knows who has the toddler and should be released from jail so she can assist with the search. An attorney for the mother is expected to file paperwork Monday for her release.

Hi everyone.. I haven't posted on this thread yet but I've been following this case, and I think I'm all caught up now, thanks to all you guys.

Like all of you, I am just absolutely APPALLED at this whole situation. I may sound harsh here, but I really don't care what reasons Casey has for not telling where Caylee is...I have NO sympathy for her, no matter what her relationship with her mother is. I also have no sympathy for Cindy. My sympathy is soley with CAYLEE. Wherever she is, even if she is safe and sound, she is still without her mother, grandparents, and basically the only life she has ever known. That is not right.

Casey and Cindy need to stop playing these games and tell where Caylee is - there is absolutely no excuse for this. If Casey was trying to keep Caylee away from Cindy, there are better ways to go about it.

Bottom line is that these people need to speak up, or in my opinion, Casey can rot in jail.

Sorry for being so harsh, but this case is so frustrating! I feel like no one cares about Caylee. :mad:

good job suzi, do you have a source for the idea that casey left the grandparents home in may? i have only seen it reported as june.

When I read that paragraph I get the Casey move in with Anthony Lazzaro on or around June 9th....not Amy....am I reading it wrong or did I miss something....the line I am refering to is this:

"Anthony Lazzaro called claiming her first learned of Caylee's disappearance by deputies coming to his house early this morning and inquiring about it. He claims he met the defendant in May and had been dating her since June. He claims he last saw Caylee on or about June 2nd while at the pool at his complex. He had not seen Caylee since. He has never met Zenaida not knows were she lives. It was he that contacted Amy Huizenga and had her call me regarding this case. Anthony said while the defendant lived with her since June 9th, she mentioned several times that Caylee was with the "nanny" at Disney, Universal Studios, or the beach. She never gave him and indication that the child was endangered or missing. Detective Gerald White later obatined a swornd statment from Anthony regarding this"

Icould be reading this wrong but I think she lived with Anthony Lazzaro. not Amy??? I was thinking the "her" was typo and should be "him".....or maybe I am wrong????

Not a dang thing. I think it may have been on a Nancy Grace transcript. I'll have to pull it up. I'll edit and correct if I have it wrong. Also, I notice many of the original media reports aren't up any longer and I may have to go through the first thread.

I agree! Its so frustrating. I don't understand hardly any of this.

Seems to me there is a family secret. Why else would no one talk?
What seceret is grandmother protecting?

Earlier it crossed my mind that grandmother wanted to appear on Casey's "side" for fear that she may never know where the baby is. This poped in my head when Trrenton Ducketts family was there. Maybe they gave her that advice?

I really dont know. I have tried to find all the videos of grandmother to see what you all are talkign about. I have seen a few snippets, but none where she was snappy. I was watching Fox when someone said she was coming up on MSNBC and switched channels but must have missed it. Checked back and she was on Fox! Lord, I can't keep up. (pretending to work also)

I just havent seen where she acts crazy, more like hiding a deep family secret. But one thing bothers me. Why she said she cant talk to Casey.
I wonder if the LE is purposly keeping them apart for a reason..?? Most jails have phones for the inmates to use and they do have visiting hours.

I thought it may be a typo too MistyGirl but then what made me change that thought was the sentance before. "It was he that contacted Amy Huizenga and had her call me regarding this case"
So in that context, using her in the next sentance would be reasonable as Amy's name was just mentioned...Does that make sense?? lol...

I am still not sure on that point I could see it both ways...

Mistygirl, I've been trying to answer your post but WS keeps going down. I'll try again. I totally get what you are saying about Anthony's statement. It's been driving me crazy. I've been mulling it over since last night. For the time being I'm going to leave the statement until it's clarified as a typo.
