She may have been trying to make it look like she was a crime victim and left her purse in the car, but forgot to leave the keys. Reflex, you get out of the car, you take the keys.

And remember, good boys and girls, that Cindy Anthony told us herself how conscientious Casey was in that she always had a spare key in her pocket just in case little Caylee got locked in the car. This came from Cindy's own yap in one of her rambling monologues. [Now someone is going to ask me where this came from...I'm too tired to dig. It's from a Greta interview, I believe.] It stuck out to me when Cindy said it.

That's pretty good. It kinda made me pause and think what if.
On a lighter note, does anybody remember the Greta interview when she asks Cindy about the gas cans and Cindy says "you have to ask George about that " I always thought she sound like she was saying....."Look I only read the parts of the script that pertain to me, the gas cans were not in my scene"

Sorry, I couldn't help it. Everytime we talk about the gas cans I get a headache.

There is a prayer thread in the Jury Room located closer to the bottom of the forum page.

Except when he *LOOKED* at the guage it read empty. If he knew it was broken he wouldn't have bothered looking at it.
Which goes to the inconsistancies with George and Cindy's statements.
They both said that they knew that the guage was broken, then why would he have bothered looking.
I believe the owner of the tow yard made the statement of something to the effect of (not a direct quote) "Mr anthony, opened the car and saw that the car was on empty and went to his car and got a gas can"

And he would have walked over there with a gas can in hand, if it had happened before or he suspected it.

The must have had 4-6 gas cans and about 300 keys to the car.

and made a post on myspace or facebook within moments of this "visit", "gas can return"

Yup ... and IIRC, Casey said something to her dad about the shed - indicating she knew it had been broken into. This happened before he claims he opened her trunk and inadvertently discovered the gas cans.

So riddle me this .... how did Casey know about the shed?

In the same interview with Greta, Cindy mentioned that she had told Casey earlier that day by cell about the shed being broke into.

Cindy piped in that she talked to Casey earlier in the day on the phone and told her. per greta interview

I do so agree. Put the gas cans at the curb....

with a sign saying FREE GAS! and forget them!

My childhood friend Jeanette is in Iraq. Can you please add her too?

I feel like I started this, and believe me, I'm not apologizing; just explaining why I keep responding! We absolutely will add Jeanette. :praying: for Jeanette, her family and friends. Keep her safe.

You don't have to point to anything, Theonly1, I recall that too and thought that if that were me, a spare key in my pocket would get washed in the laundry a lot :)

I'm sure, like you, I deem that information credible about this <--> much. She loses a fullsize phone for cryin' out loud :) How she gonna hang on to a spare key?

In the Greta interview Cindy said she had talked to casey about it earlier in the day but had not talked to george.

LE certainly has a nightmare job here. No one in that family has told them anything to help the investigation. It's astonishing!

We accidentally left a vacuum sealed 10 lb pork loin in my MIL's truck friday to sunday, in June during triple digit heat.
The smell never completely went away. The day she traded it in we used a nice enzyme killer to mask the smell long enough to get the paper work complete.

Thank you. I think this is very important information. This is a large piece of meat, vacuum-sealed, which should have started out with very little bacteria on it, vs. a body, with all kinds of chemical reactions going on. This is why I don't think she was in the car all that long.

:clap:Cagney....you are right on tonite....great thinking!

Thanks! I have been living and breathing this case since I found you guys! I think my hubby thinks I am having an affair, lol! JK He likes to hear all the theorys from here too! Now if he would join.....

Or she had to open the trunk with the keys and accidentally threw them in the dumpster with the effort to throw a dead weight over your head into a dumpster. Oops
Just exactly where are the keys? The keys Casey used to drive the car? Does she still ave the? Wonder if anyone has even asked that question. It would be interesting to know where they are and what other keys are on that hey ring...possible a key to a lock or mini storage. She could have put Caylee's body in a rented storage building!

I think I do, in Mrs Lett's interview with LE on page 58 on my copy of the 400 page release. She says she's out having a smoke after getting the transaction with the grandfather squared awany, she stated she overheard the grandfather and her boss (Mr Birch, the tow company owner/operator), that he'd just found his daughter, but his granddaughter was missing.

Based on the fact that the car was at the tow yard for two weeks, indicates that Cindy never did see Casey at all from June 27th to July 15th as Casey didn't have her car. Casey had Amy's car for a few days, but more than likely Casey didn't drive over to her mother's house in Amy's car.

Cindy did state on numerous occasions that she saw Casey and also exhanged message and phone conversations.

IIRC George said that Casey had taken gas before..why did he file a report this time if it happened before? IDK if that were my kid I would confront them about it not call the police. The whole police report for stolen gas cans just strikes me as odd. Even if someone broke into my shed and I had no clue who it was I probably wouldn't file a report...I mean honestly is someone going to stake out a robber that stole 2 gas cans?? JMO.

Does anyone think the part about just finding his daughter is weird because Cindy said they had been in contact on the phone everyday. She also said I just found my daughter in the 911 call, but again at the bond hearing IIRC she said she was in contact through text or phone to Casey everyday.
