Not seeking employment goes against the order if the court. Isn't that exactly what the appeals court mentuoned in the denial, that the DOC could not disregard the courts ruling?

My gut is it is bogus. The poster alludes to photos as part of a '.5 mil' package and that sometimes the poster needs to be naughty - alluding to the photo shoot for Flynt? Also, the poster identifies the county so if the DOC is hiding that why share it to the world? Finally, suggesting reporting for probation 'today' was a safe bet since it was discussed with HHJBP to register 2 days early to avoid the media. It just says today.

The poster seems to be having great fun messing with folks but from the photos and comments there is nothing I see as unique or proof of FCA.

I tend to agree with you. It was just some of the things that she said had the Fica ring to them. Also I think she would be DESPERATE for attention by now. Playing stupid games of slide would be something I can see her doing.

I really hope it is not her though...

I presume what he meant to say was "physically attend an educational institution" - I can't imagine she has any great necessity to be doing flips on a balance beam.

So, puzzle me this. If she can't get a job now because it is not safe how will having a few online courses or even a degree help her get a safe job? What do they think they are accomplishing here?

Casey could have been sentenced to 65 years on the check charges. But she got 412 days and one year of probation.

She could have been sentenced anywhere from 15 years to life in prison or even the death penalty for murdering Caylee. But she walked free.

She was sentenced to 1460 days on four counts of lying to LE. But she served only 1043, with 412 of those 1043 days being the same 412 days applied to another sentence.

Is it any wonder Casey's probation has special waivers and is cloaked in secrecy? It has nothing to do with security; it's all about Casey not having to do what is legally required of her.

And her people say she is hated. Go figure.

Funny she wasn't concerned walking the streets of Ohio, drinking her Starbucks and window shopping! Her special treatment is crazy.

This is really annoying. The whole get a job thing was the best part of probation! And frankly if she was going to benefit from this experience at all it was going to be through being obligated to get and keep a job. This could have been her year to learn to live like a normal person. If her DT had any compassion for her, if they truly had her interests at heart they would be GLAD for Casey to have a year of basically being taught how to survive on her own in the real world.

I truly do not believe that Casey faces any "threat" other than people shouting "baby killer" and being rude to her if they run into her. Let's face it, this is something she is going to have to learn to deal with. Allowing her to opt out of the most important part of the probation experience is no kindness to her. It's doing her no favors.

I'll believe it when I see it as to the claims that Casey doesn't have to get a job and that she's going to take online classes. She doesn't have a high school diploma does she? Wouldn't she have to have school transcripts? Even if she took an online course, you still have to register and pay for tuition, so what is she using for money? I don't believe anything that Geraldo reports that comes from Jose.

Frankly I doubt Casey can stay out of trouble for a whole year either while on probation for check fraud because she's a con artist thief, a convicted liar, and an acquitted murderer. I think it's only a matter of time before she tangles with the law again.

The DOC doesn't care if Casey benefits from probation. They don't care if she learns anything. They don't even care if the public cares! The DOC is doing what the court ordered and they are doing it in a minimal, very basic way. They are using the "discretion" the judge allowed for and, if ever questioned, will defend their actions (or inaction) by saying it was necessary for the welfare of all involved.

It is so obvious that it reeks of cover-up.

Perhaps the schooling is for a GED or high school diploma? We are assuming it's college. I'm ok with the job thing only because she probably wouldn't have been able to find one anyway. So long as it is a requirement that she spends her year productively becoming a functional, law abiding member of society and has to show proof that she's doing so.. I'm good with it.

I say let her go, give it up. She's probably w/ moms & pops about now. Any news of her or her associates is not good for our souls. We are all too good of people to continue following this charade.

Personally I wish her nothing but misery. Unfortunately, I doubt I will ever hear or see about it. I have witnessed how this plays out. She will never feel remorse or sadness. If she says so, it is for sympathy. She is not capable of repenting. She will skate through life till a disease or accident gets her. She doesn't look at the future and never looks at the past. It is just the way she rolls. Pathological narcissits never get it. Normal people keep reasoning that one day they will be sorry for what they did, but that is just wishful thinking.
